Okay, that makes sense. Thanks for the explanation. And by the way, that's a totally awesome run. :)

Sorry, I wasn't asking the right question. Why was it necessary to use a spin attack at the end to catch someone behind you? Shouldn't you be killing every car as you pass it? Mind you, I don't know that it's worth a slightly faster time if you have to give up the announcer's lines. :)

I dig the ending - "Finish! You're going the wrong way!" Nice work in general. Was the spin attack at the end just to catch cars that you were forced to pass during the jump?

BE's come out with a new hack - Golden Dawn. It's more linear than Dependence while simultaneously involving a lot more wandering about wondering where in blazes you're supposed to go next. At least, it does if you're me. Patch location GameFAQs thread Edit: fixing broken URL

Nice video! I especially like seeing the bounding boxes, since it gives some insight into how the game's physics works. It's a pity that there's no standard way to do this so that you could use the same hack on multiple games. One note - you end the second level way off center, and the game has to slowly scroll you back to the middle before tallying up your bonus.
