This game is wierd, it look like Zelda with a musclebound Link, but short and well played enough to warrant a Yes vote.

Okay, there will be a holiday this week, and I'll try to finish the Lost World in the meantime.

I was a little worried about Koindozer Klamber, but it turned out to be one of the smoothest stages to do, except the banana bonus of course... I guess there will be no surprises from this point, so this may be the last of my "wips", and our official run will start as soon as possible. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1467233306/DKCIII.smv

Um... the character management in Creepy Caverns and Lightning Lookout didn't quite worked as intended, I hope we have a better luck in the final run, lots of random things on those stages, but no new Bear Coin; http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1900878268/DKCIII.smv

if there's something that would make me gave up this run, it would be a green banana bonus with ghost barrels and water! talk about a horrible combination... but I'm starting to like those bonuses, they'll give us time to find new things, hopefully.

Nice find, I guess Nibelung did something similar when he took damage with Dixie and passed through a barely opened shutter wit Kiddy. this game is so glitchless that anything we can find will help alot. anyway, just finished Creepy Cavern, thank God no banana bonus in there...

What is the criterion for Riverside Race? I saw that you enter the bonus but do not collect the DK coin, why?

Um... I thought water could slow us down! anyway, this test run will also be useful to plan character management, that's cool. but there's something not so cool; Creepy Cavern's ghost barrels, they can be worst than green banana bonus...

Hi ALAKTORN, up to Low G- Labyrinth I just did the banana bonus, the rest is exactly as in ElectroSpecter's wip. but about the character management, sometimes we need to throw the other kong to reach a higher place or a warp barrel, and only Kiddy can do this. but there are places where only Dixie can reach with her helicoptery hair, in other words, we need to switch them alot. to jump after the bonus coin is collected, you must jump one frame before the kong touches the coin.

Thankyou guys, but there's lots of things to improve in this test run; green banana bonus must be manipulated, boss battles are not optimal, also, some Bear Coins will not be collected in the final run, I'm collecting them just in case we need to avoid some coins to manipulate a bonus. here, I'm in the midle of Konveyor Rope Klash with 49 coins.

Thank you for the tips, I'm trying all of them right now, but looks like only the DK coin can be collected faster, oh well... /we still must wait for the bonus barrel to spawn, but it worked! here, 46 Bear Coins so far, thanks again ElectroSpecter.

Sorry to double post, but this is important; there's no way to enter the second bonus or collect the DK coin in Kong-Fused Kliffs, the camera keep pushing Kiddy to where he was supposed to be without the glitch or zip him straight to the flag. any suggestions?

It's just a test run for the Bear Coins, but I'm also testing character management, shortcuts, ways to clear bonus rounds faster and etc. anyway, up to Lemguin Lunge. /a small update; Buzzer Barrage is done, 41 coins so far.

Thankyou, I know it's not very useful to watch test runs, but there's some things on it that will be present on the final run, so, you can consider it as a "beta" version. ElectroSpecter just finished his Bear Coin list, and I'm halfway done with mine, I guess we can start the actual run in about two weeks.

I don't know, but I like the way it's on the submitted run, makes it look more complex than it really is. I'm sad that this glitch can't be used on DKC3, it would kick some serious asses...

The Bear Coin test continues and I already have 32 of them, here's a sneaky peek of what's done so far. (Fish Food Frenzy, before the second bonus)

Mekanos' done, but looks like this run will be on hold for some time, a new glitch on Donkey Kong Country 2 may force a redo on the 102% run, not confirmed yet, but it's possible, I'm still stuck on Lakeside Limbo anyway...

I can't watch those videos (there's just a black screen after "Play"), but by reading the comments, looks like it's still useful for v1.1, if so the 102% run can't be done with this version. But if not, I'd love to do Donkey Kong Country 2 again, since I'm stuck on those green banana bonus of DKC3...

Those green banana bonus are trying to drive me crazy, so, I'll focus on the Bear Coins instead. here's a test I'm doing using the existing wips to collect extra ones, not optimal, but still fast.

The magazine is no longer available here in Brazil, and there is nothing against scans on the Copyright: Nothing that appears in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble Playe's Guide may be printed in whole or in part without express written permission from Nintendo of America inc., Copyright owner. I'm not going to print anything, to tell you the truth, I don't even have a printer...

Oh dude, I have the official Players Guide, which lists all (well, probably most) of them, so I could give you a basic description of where all of them are.
Thanks for the info, that sure will be faster than find them all by myself. I'm downloading it right now. /it's already here, and it's very detailed indeed, thanks again ElectroSpecter.

Yes, but I'm also trying to find as many Bear Coins as I can, so we can see wich ones are more "on track" than the others, and then collect only the faster ones.

That would be great, but without a Kremlin flag we can not enter any location, so even if we manage to go up the waterfall, there's not much to do there, I may be wrong though. anyway, now that I can use TAS Movie Editor after reset, I'm doing a test run to collect the Bear Coins using the any%, it may be ready in two weeks or so.
