If we had a Swordless runthrough on the GBA one uploaded here, would having the Four Swords Dungeon and its boss replace Ganon be an acceptable move to allow it to be published, or should it only result from beating the real final boss, and not a bonus one? I would be very interested in seeing a Swordless runthrough of the GBA one. I can't remember, would a sword be necessary to open Misery Mire and Turtle Rock if you got the Ether Medallion via the Ether Medallion Glitch? And do you need a sword to use the Quake Medallion?

Interesting. The guards can be bypassed the same way in the GBA one? I hope it isn't too off-topic to ask, but can the Link clones at the end of the Four Swords dungeon be harmed by the hammer or anything? If so, they can possibly be a suitable final boss in a No Sword run. They trigger credits, so that requirement of a submission should be fine. I vaguely recall the Hammer being able to hit them for the absolute lowest amount any damage value could be, but I'm not sure.

I've tried replicating that superjump in the past and I can't seem to get it to work. (I enter the cliff a bit, and with enough slowdown I can even jump off the cliff... into the water below, sadly.) Did you use special hotkeys to bind U+D, U+L+D+R, and such to? Does the superjump not work at all or teleport (seriously Firefox? This isn't spelt properly...?) you to an improper spot in the GBA one? I can't recall the results of that YouTube conversation, so forgive me if you told me this previously. I recall it being an improper spot. (in the wall instead of on the walkable part of Hyrule Castle) The glitch you used to get past the guard and thus enter the Eastern Palace, does that work in the GBA one? I know you said the superjump doesn't work, but this looks like its tied to oddness with so many multiple directions being held as opposed to a superjump or warp or something.

Are you using any glitches specific to the SNES one/one of the versions of it (JP 1.0, etc) for the Swordless run? If not, I'm pretty sure the lamp will open those curtains in the GBA remake (it also does damage when it hits enemies in that version, but your post above showed that might not be too necessary, you managed to get the Bow fine without any way of harming enemies). I can test this later if you say the glitches work the same in the GBA one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=563xdKTT-AQ 0:55 I recall asking someone from here on YouTube soon after it was made if that specific glitch warp is possible in the GBA one. Unfortunately, he said no, you get stuck in a wall instead of going in Hyrule Castle as the video shows. I'm not sure how you did the glitch in your video above to get past the guards, though. Multidirectional stuff?
