Just as a note, this TAS was made using FM sound enabled. Apparently BizHawk has been enabling this setting by default when it should be enabled for Japanese games only. Turning it off for this run unfortunately causes a desync in the hacky sack level, so I’ll be publishing this with it on.

[4450] N64 Super Smash Bros. "playaround" by Noxxa in 07:55.10 This movie has brought a ton of what was missing from Smash 64 publications, fast paced action and chaos that is more up to date with today’s standards. The author not only made every attack on each character unique and hilarious but also went out of his way to make hilarious freeze frames at the end of each battle, which is used as a publication screenshot. Unfortunately I’m not sure what this means for the current starred TAS of the game, I like both movies for different reasons. But I’m ok with the star being given to the playaround TAS if it has to be taken from BtP and BtT.

This game reminds me of my TAS of C64 Snoopy where each level gets increasingly fast to the point of becoming unplayable, but there's a point where everything becomes extra extra slow. It does feel very repetitive in game-play however, and not much can really be done about that, voting meh.

Game is kinda interesting as the thumbnail made me think it was an arial view of the course before putting you in the perspective of the golfer, like with other golf games on the site. But as soon as I saw golfing happening on that screen it caught me off guard. Haha. The TAS is good but idk if I would say it’s entertaining enough to make me watch it again, although it is short and sweet so that’s something. Think I’ll vote meh on this but I do appreciate the work on this run.
