If you would like me to make a better comparison encode I can do that for you. Just from what I’m watching, I’m a little disappointed that you didn’t do any playaround with the snake area for example. That was what made the old movies so entertaining to watch. If they were in this new movie I would have suggested this for stars honestly. Still I’ll vote yes.

yeah I gotta say, having MelonDS in BizHawk has made casual play of most DS game really nice to do. Been using it mostly to play Ace Attorney games and they work out well. great job everyone.

The recent submission of Pokemon Crystal has revealed an audio issue with music, some of the audio has weird static or echoy noises to it (most noticable with the Oak theme intro). I wrote a ticket about this here: https://github.com/TASVideos/BizHawk/issues/2006

Maybe the "alternate sync" option wasn't checked in the video capture dialog window.
nope, I still get it with alt sync checked (even with alt sync disabled it still has this issue): Link to video From some other testing, this is NOT a SubGBHawk issue, it's an issue with GBHawk itself.

I'm not sure what to make of this movie honestly. A GB game where the main feature is the Camera, but the Camera isnt used at all in the TAS? What would even happen if you tried to take a picture during emulation? meh vote.

Lol. If you actually want to know what a LOTAD is, it stands for Low Optimized Tool Assisted Demonstration. Basically means proof of concept with no real focus on being super optimized in many cases.

I agree with this. IGT is really only useful when aiming for real time gets real muddy (like with Sonic).

Since McHazard is back, I'll post about this. The GEG seems to crash the game in the latest bizhawk version (where Gambette is supposed to be very accurate). This happens with both GB mode and GBC in GBA. I was hoping someone, maybe McHazard or someone else, could look into if this is an emulation bug or if this is supposed to happen on hardware, and the original publication is making use of an emulator bug. here's the movie file that works on 2.4.1 (needs the GB bios) http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/63259061259553281
