This last case though makes me slightly doubtful that TASVideos actually cares that much about graphical corruptions in their videos, considering
(i) for how long this video has existed now (apparently it was out in 2010) with no alternative (or updated) youtube video existing that would be linked from the Movie Stars page, and
(ii) how popular this video and how well-known (in comparison to general other TASes) the TAS is, in light of or contrast to the fact that it is still in this shape (and is at least in this way listed among other TASes from the Movie Stars page), even though there has been a mention of this potential issue in the videos' comments:
I do not it’s because TASVideos doesn’t care. I for one didn’t know that gradius had this issue, and it seems to have a simmilar issue to what was reported here: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=477364#477364
The fact that there is a thread where you can report issues with certain encodes is proof enough that TASVideos does care, but issues can only be fixed if they’re actually reported.

My computer isn't good enough to run any emulator either, so I'd like to have help because of that too.
What do you mean by this? Will the emulator not run at all for you or does it just not run at full speed?
If it’s the latter, that shouldn’t matter. Like lapogne36 said, a potato computer can still be used to tas games. No matter how fast the game runs on your computer, it will still be emulated at the same speed.

Even if this movie is meant to be a playaround, if it’s anything like the previous submission then it doesn’t exactly offer any kind of entertaining movement. Since I cant play back the movie on emulator and there isn’t an encode to watch I’m abstaining from voting, but I really doubt a playaround for this game would be acceptable.

I should mention that you dont “convert” the file to .zip, you send it to a .zip folder. It’s really simple to do, all you have to do is right click on the file, then scroll down to “send to”, then select “compressed zip folder” or somthing like that.

How does this compare to the best ending tas? Iirc that movie did certain sections present in the any% faster than the old movie, the best ending would make for a better comparison imo.
Another thing to note is the RTA runners use a restart sequence to skip a portion of the game’s intro, not sure if you did that in your movie but it’s probably worth looking into.

There’s still a few issues that I personally have with GBHawk, one of them being the faster loading times (dont know if that was fixed yet.). I highly doubt support for gambette will be dropped anytime soon.

I recently watched Infinity War again, and I realized what it is that bugged me about endgame. (No Spoilers here)
Infinity war rarely wasted any time, everything felt like it kept progressing in the story and things were moving very smoothly, there were only a couple halts to progress, which were probably in the GotG scenes. They weren’t bad scenes, they were genuinely hilarious to me, but I felt like it abruptly halted the movie. Fourtunatly it didn’t take up too much of the film so I could ignore it.
On the other hand, endgame felt the opposite. There was so much about endgame that felt like it went on for two long, scenes where the characters are needlessly bickering or just wasting time in general, and it feels exaggeratedly stretched out. It was only after I had seen the film that I realized the movie was 3 hours long, there was so much about this film that could have been taken out and nothing would have been different, and as a bonus the film wouldn’t nearly be as long.
Now while I did find that particular thing with endgame to be frustrating I still enjoyed quite a bit of the film, once the final action scene happened I felt like it really was the final, and i left the theater satisfied (to some extent I was left with more questions about the ending but I dont want to spoil it).
In conclusion, Infinity War imo was a better movie than endgame, but that doesn’t mean endgame is a bad movie at all, it just could have done without the 3 hour runtime.

If you copy an author’s inputs and put it into your movie, especially when it is a major amount of inputs, you should always include the original author in the author list, a description mention isnt going to cut it.
