Well my earlier point remains, I think some of the criticism comes from people not liking this “godgame” to look like a broken mess.

The problem is I could still experience everything done in this movie just from watching the any%. There’s alot of pacifist runs on this site that look incredibly different to their any% counterparts. Just to name one: [3865] NES Castlevania "pacifist, minimalist" by Challenger & Grincevent in 12:25.29 The player is avoiding taking damage from bats because the bat will also die. This makes it so a skip is not used, showing a different path. Not only that but it’s incredibly fun to watch the player avoiding as many enemies as possible. This is type of pacifist run that makes them unique to me.

I feel like some of the complaints of the broken graphics are based not wanting the “greatest game of all time” to look like a buggy mess. Im not saying that everyone who dislikes the graphic bugs hates it for that exact reason, but there are times when I feel like it is the case, especially when the any% tas was submitted.

I found that you can get a faster movement pattern if you hold the opposite direction when doing the horizontal kick, this allows Maria to cancel her kick earlier and perform it again. this saved about a second from my testing but I didnt do much comaprisons, I just know it's insanely faster. That’s another thing that bugs me. Why not just use the original character model and just make that look realistic. This character model for the film looks like a live action sonic deviantart oc.

I guess the main issue I really have with the sonic model is the eyes. Sonic has really big eyes, which is why his head seems so big. because they are using eyes that are not that big, we're left with this empty space on his forhead. it really is unsettling. remember that someone has designed and animated this character, and somehow didnt think it was a bad idea.

I really liked watching this one. The movements are incredibly tight and it really is satisfying to watch. Yes vote. Also am I the only one that finds it annoying to see an all lowercase name come before a name with capital letters in it? “nymx & DrD2K9” just looks weird to me for some reason.
