I was in favor of switching to BizHawk GBA but I realized it made DKC2 wayyyyyy too dark to see any gameplay. I haven’t seen the mid point that sonia posted for dkc2 in question, but a mid point may not be a bad idea to try out.

A pretty boring hack to be honest. It also seems kinda sloppy, there are some clips where you try to slow down to get but any clip after that you do without hesitation. I assume it’s due to speed or something but either way, it’s not interesting. No vote.

Some of these levels feel so much faster now. One of the first levels where you said the sheep was super slow, so you found a way to leave the level with the mouse instead. In the old tas you would finish that level with the sheep, and you weren’t kidding when you said it was slow. The improvements alone makes me want to vote yes. Amazing job.

I know you’re joking, but in case people do wonder why a European game is at 60fps, it’s because the game was also released in brazil, so if a European game was released in brazil, it can run at 60. At least that’s how I understand it.

Is it not possible to get up to a faster speed during the first part of the run? You do a loop then shoot a missile then get some height, but you speed up when uou do that.

After watching the encode, this is a pretty neat puzzle game. It gets repetitive after awhile but it is fun to see the complicated solutions to the puzzles get done fast. A weak yes vote from me.

The upside is when the run is published, anyone watching from the YouTube channel may want to go and read the author’s comments so they can understand what the heck is going on. If the run gets accepted and published before that happens then they would be greeted with unfinished explications.
