What? Is that allowed? TASing a platform running under a emulator which in turn is running under another emulator even though there is a dedicated tas emulator for that platform already?
libTAS is a much friendlier alternative to TASing in JPC-rr, being able to run games at full speed, having an intuitive mouse interface, and the ability to easily edit past inputs. Some of these games didn't run at all in JPC-rr and are now TASable.
As variant we can keep both timing in title, something like: [TAS] NNN - any% by NNN in 18:05 (17:58 RTA). But we have thousands TASes... so it will be enormous work to correctly measure all published TASes with RTA timing. And also as mentioned abow by ais523 in some cases RTA timing methods vary among.
I don't remember anymore if "all bosses" is defined in-game as an optional goal. If it isn't, and if beating all bosses is just an any% requirement imposed by the game, then we can only have this branch in Moons.
If you're trying to trick me into TASing a fourth Bonk game it's not going to work.
@Memory How is swapping discs hardware tampering? I find arbitrarily resetting the system and corrupting save data to be much more "damaging" to the hardware than swapping discs during gameplay.
