Been watching the progression of this TAS and loved every WIP that was posted of it. Glat to see it’s finally here (and rip to the poor soul who has to possibly publish it).

I just don't understand what the purpose of doing least checkpoints is. It almost makes sense in an actual speedrun setting, where it's a bit of an extra challenge for runners. In a TAS setting however, there isnt any challenge to it because TASes are going to be perfect, so all were seeing is the run slowing down purposely to avoid checkpoints. It doesn't show off anything new or interesting.

The glitch the text was referring to was a way to wall clip into the celing which cuts out a majority of stage 3, this is where I found out about it: https://youtu.be/_3wZR_gYS8A
The part where it says “cuts a majority of stages” was a big misleading, as it’s really only used in stage 3.

I feel that the gate clip TAS is more suitable for stars because it shows off just how broken the game is. while the branchless TAS of Warped is pretty fast, I feel that the other levels that dont abuse that trick cause the rest of the run to seem slow. with the gate clip it's alot shorter, and shows off more than just spinning around super fast. especially how the final boss battle is done, moving so far off the screen is just funny to watch.
With it also being the more rated Crash TAS on that list, I think it deserved the Star just for how insane the movement is.

I can pretty much tell from how the audio in the dump turned out that you used FCEU instead of FCEUX. or at least a version of FCEU that has this issue.

At first I thought it was going to be a slow mining game, but after every powerup it started to get more interesting. As soon as you got the grappling hook (which is my favorite item in any tas), I knew everything was about to get crazy. Was not disappointed. Yes vote.

so if anyone here has watched the any% run of this game, they might notice that the segment of the all bosses run that is identical to any% is faster than any%.
the only difference that any% does that all bosses doesn't is the route for getting the sword item. after any% gets the sword, the route is pretty much the same as all bosses.
After this happened, I wondered if there was enough content featured in any% that could keep it from being obsoleted by all bosses. I hope this does get discussed by staff or at least get a clarification.

C64 is a special case when it comes to Cracked roms.
To quote the movie rules:
For Commodore 64 movies only, movies made using disk ROM files are preferred over movies using tape ROM files. This is due to the very slow loading times of C64 tapes, which significantly affect the watchability of such movies.
This applies also for cracked Commodore 64 disk ROMs, if no non-cracked disk ROM version is available.
