Noice. This awful game deserved to finally have a decent TAS so we could put it to sleep bed at last.
Disclaimer: No, I am not just echoing a popular opinion. I have completed this game (albeit not to 100%) on a console which it was clearly not optimised for (i.e. PS2). It lacks content, it runs like molasses, and it's flat-out boring to play. Even Hero's Tail is better in my opinion.
Okay, rant over. Giving this a Yes, 'cause why not.

*Claps hands slowly*
I have absolutely no idea how long it must have taken you to TAS this, Mothrayas. I'm not willing to watch this all the way through from beginning to end (since I do have a life) but I've seen enough of the run to decide which way I'm voting (i.e. Yes). I really hope this gets published in the end, even if it takes until the heat death of the universe.

Is the music in this encode the actual audio from the game? Let me check...
Oh. Okay.
Nevertheless, I was still quite surprised upon hearing Where's Your Head At. That song takes me right back. Voting... Yes, I guess?

Okay... so I right-arrowed through the whole encode just to listen to bits of the songs, and boy, some of them are really cringeworthy. Trust me when I say, they do get slightly less awful towards the end, but most of us wouldn't bother to watch that far... especially considering that the very first song that comes up wouldn't seem out of place in a CBeebies show.
I'm actually not sure what to vote on this one, so I'm not going to.

What... the... hell? This is not the kind of stuff I wanted to see today. Really doesn't help that YouTube recommended me to watch that dumb Suicide Mouse video after this...
Eurgh! This sort of material is not appropriate for TASVideos. Take your No vote and leave, you monster.
The above text might have been slightly sarcastic. Please don't take it seriously, whatever you do.

*Clicks 'Latest Post' on Workbench*
Show me what you got!
*Sees something which is presumably a serious TAS*
Slamo running a Wolfenstein/Doom clone, complete with super-fast shoot-'n'-strafe action? I like what you got! Voting Yes.

If only it were possible to beat the game without any gems... then you'd win a MacPEGOT. (lame joke)
I'll admit, I initially misread the branch name as 'Capless' and was like "Wut? Since when did Aladdin wear a cap?" And then I read it again and went "Oh, right."
Voting Yes.

In case the music in this game sounds familiar to anyone
I'm not normally a fan of puzzle games, but this one was pretty enjoyable to watch, especially with the little jokes between levels (personally the Barry Manilow one was what had me chuckling. Oh, and if you're having trouble pausing at the right time, the , and . keys are your friends.) Yes vote.

Did anyone else get goosebumps from hearing both of the 'game start' themes at the same time? No? That was just me? Okay.
Also, I believe this is probably the only TAS that both saves and kills the animals Donkey Kong simultaneously. It's like watching two alternate timelines playing out in parallel!
As for the run itself, I couldn't really see anything wrong with it. It's a Yes from me.

I know this isn't really music from a video game, but a) I didn't want to make a double-post in the WSAYLTRN thread and b) I have this model of keyboard so myerrgh.

This song always brings a tear to my eye. 2016 may have been a rough ride for a lot of people, but here's to hoping that 2017 will be the year that things will brighten up for everyone.

Considering that Spielberg was also an executive producer on The Land Before Time, I was half-expecting you to mention that film as well. WBADS seems like one of those animated features that tried to jump on the "dark but still meant for kids" bandwagon piloted by Don Bluth, but failed miserably.
Regarding the TAS itself, I found it quite amusing that a Game Boy game could implement SMB3-esque slope physics, but not have the best ceiling/wall collision detection... but as usual, it's a Yes from me.

I never knew about any of the two previous runs, so going by first impressions alone, I'm going to vote Yes. I'll admit, the game is pretty slow-paced, but I like the fact that a GEG could be discovered in a game that's not from a popular franchise (by which I mean Mario, Zelda, etc.).

As someone who drank a can of Foster's on his eighteenth birthday, this makes me sad... :(
Aside from that, nice TAS. There's something kinda funny about seeing the bartender zipping between counters at the speed of light. Voting Yes!

Since I've hit 50 stars, I've been able to upload 10 more levels! Here are my two chosen highlights for you to try:
Bob-Omb Headquarters
Game Style: SMB
Intended Difficulty: Normal
Description:
Break into the base of the Big Bob-Omb and sabotage his plans of manufacturing an army of walking explosives! Search for keys, sneak past guards, and ride elevators as you negotiate your way towards the boss's room, before finding a way to send him to a fiery defeat.
MarioSeize
Game Style: SMW
Intended Difficulty: Expert/Super Ex.
Description:
A course loosely inspired by a certain late-game level from the super-difficult Flash game, MoneySeize. Use a passing Thwomp as a moving platform to ride over a spiky floor, making sure to grab all ten Pink Coins (they're not optional, mind you) as you avoid deadly obstacles along the way. Think you can handle the challenge?
Still wanting more? You can find all my other levels on my profile page.
No prob.

Sorry if this seems like a low-effort, needless post, but thank you! This very glitch is what prevented me from attempting single-segment playthroughs on this game (I actually thought it was a defect on my end only). Now that I know there's a simple way around it, I can finally get back and re-play this hack!

They see me floatin', they hatin'
Patrollin' and try'na catch me UFO-in'
Try'na catch me UFO-in', try'na catch me UFO-in'...
I just don't get why there's so little confidence in this TAS. People need to not be so negative, yo.
I'm going to go ahead and give this a No vo-... er, I mean, er, a Yes vote.

Now that I've reached my initial limit of 10 levels, here's what I've uploaded so far...
Original Levels:Egix's Obstacle Course
Game Style: NSMBU
Difficulty: Expert (possibly bordering on Super Expert)
Description:
This may have been my first completed level, but don't let that fool you! You'll need to negotiate a series of tricky, spike-laden jumps if you want to make it to the end!
Timing Is Everything
Game Style: SMB1
Difficulty: Expert
Description:
The title says it all. Think of this as a (slightly) easier Obstacle Course. Bullet Bill bouncing, running past burners, and good-ol' pixel-perfect jumping are what you'll need to do here!
Fortress of Pain
Game Style: SMB3
Difficulty: Expert
Description:
A short, but potentially brutal, level. After making a huge leap of faith, you'll have to work your way through the various obstacles which stand between you and the axe. Hint: when you see the arrow sign, think before you jump!
Castle Belladon
Game Style: NSMBU
Difficulty: Expert
Description:
Bowser has teamed up with the Arch-Demon Belladonna to construct this monster of a level! Negotiate a claustrophobic vertical section, before spelunking your way through a dark underground cavern. At the end of this comes the decisive showdown against the Koopa King himself - or will Our Plumber be able to find an easier way out?
King Boo's House of Tricks
Game Style: SMW
Difficulty: Expert
Description:
That pesky ghost-king has imprisoned our hero in a mysterious room! Above him stand three doors, all in a row - each one leading to a different tricky trial. Can Mario locate all three of the Pink Coins contained within them, and earn the key to his freedom?
Castle Belladon 2: Electric Bellaloo
Game Style: SMW
Difficulty: Expert
Description:
Oh, no! Looks like the Arch-Demon has built another fearsome fortress - this time in collaboration with Bowser Jr! Be prepared to endure even more lava, spikes, and trickery in this sequel level to the first Castle Belladon!
Yoshi's House Key Search
Game Style: NSMBU
Difficulty: Normal
Description:
Ah, time for a nice change of pace! Our hero finds that his trusty dinosaur friend has ended up in a bit of a pickle - some of Bowser's minions have invaded Yoshi's house and stolen the key to his front door! In order to get it back, he'll need some help from Mario to find the eight Pink Coins which have been scattered around the house!
Recreation Levels:Spark Man (Mega Man 3) (SMB/Expert)
Intro Level (Super Mario Land 2) (SMW/Easy)
World Mushroom-1 (New Super Mario Bros 2) (SMB3/Easy-Normal)
P.S.:
Uhh... it's been 404'd. What happened to it?
