Oh my God. The screen even says Yes Vote.
Put on your tinfoil helmet, Samsara. The day has finally come, when TASers are trying not just to manipulate luck... but to manipulate our minds with their subliminal messaging!

This is the second MMX game.
There are 12 physical buttons on the SNES controller.
2*12 = 24.
The author's name is Hetfield90.
90 - 24 = 66.
66 turned upside-down is 99.
Mega Man has two eyes.
99 is two digits of 9.
You know what that means, people?
Anyway, I'm happy to see that this is finally on the bench.
Yes Vote!

Thanks for the suggestions, Nitrof. I'm sorry if a lot of my suggested strats are untested/sloppy, but I'm probably not going to make anything more than a theory TAS because I suck too much at this game (I did once make a theory run quite recently, but it was crap).
I'm pleased to hear that you're thinking of making a proper run - you're THE man for the job, of course. But, it will still take a while - it's not like S2RR where you can skip straight to the bosses... But I can wait. It's cool.

Any% TAS Route
SUNRISE SPRING
Sunny Villa
Enemy proxy off first rhynoc as RTA does.
Seashell Shore
Due to the TAS-only SiA method, it should be better for TAS to do this level second, and CS fourth. It may be possible to proxy off a shovel rhynoc to reach the EoL faster.
Molten Crater
It may be possible to proxy over the high wall in the first outdoor area, but IDK, haven't tested.
Cloud Spires
Hyperglide, obviously.
Sheila's Alp
Use either TAS-only SiA or current RTA method, whichever is faster, to enter this level. Run through it as normal.
MIDDAY GARDENS
Enchanted Towers
Use regular level skip, obviously.
Bamboo Terrace
Use under-the-bridge SiA to enter this level. Proxy off the first firework rhynoc as 117 TAS does.
Spooky Swamp
Proxying off the first gator should be enough to reach the high ledge with the miniworld portals, then on to the EoL.
Byrd's Base
OoB glide in, complete level as normal.
Icy Peak
I happen to know that it's possible to wall-glide past the first ice wall without destroying it first.
EVENING LAKE
Bentley's Outpost
OoB glide in, complete level as normal.
Frozen Altars
Enemy proxy off the baby elephant as RTA does.
Fireworks Factory
Use firefly proxy at beginning.
Lost Fleet
It should be more efficient to take damage for the Zombie at each acid stream, rather than all at once near the end.
Charmed Ridge
Proxy off the second crossbow rhynoc (or first cat wizard if that's possible) to reach the end.
Midnight Mountain
Get perfect helmet proxy, glide into the loadzone.
tl;dr: Different level order in Sunrise, get proxies wherever possible, general TAS strats here and there.
Does this route seem all right?

Okay, okay. I'm going to reply to you guys one by one.
Derakon
Thank you for standing up for me.
Tangent
I don't like what you're saying here. I'm not doing anything for money, and I'm not trying to deal specifically with copyright here.
"[P]lagiarism is an ethical violation only."
Try telling that to the uni professors after they kick you out for submitting some pre-written essay you bought for a hundred quid.
ars4326, MUGG
Thank you both for your advice. @MUGG specifically, I don't really think flagging would be necessary. I'd rather politely request for him to edit in non-TASed footage (considering that Indie's other videos usually show 'normal' gameplay), and reupload a new version.
Warp
Thank you for clarifying about the licence.
TheAxeMan
The fact that you appreciated it when "[OCRemix] used a cut of [your] TAS" gives me a good reason to not be so darn butthurt about this whole situation.
True
Okay, you win on that front. I'll admit, it was a terrible idea to bring up fanfics. Remember, I'm a bloody idiot [See the "My WWTBAM TAS" thread].

I blame the site parser. Remember when it thought Saturday Night Slam Masters was an NES game?
Somebody get Randall Munroe on this, we NEED an xkcd about the site parser.

But when you consider that IA openly encourages the viewer to like/share the video etc., this means that I'm potentially losing out on free advertising.
Let me check the view counts...
AotR 18:48: 1,882 views
AotR 16:40: 1,409 views
From what I can see, a decent viewcount on TVC is about 4~5000.
Plus, what if someone were to plagiarise one of my fanfics? I don't know about you, but I'd go apeshit.

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place, but here goes anyway.
In this video, INDIEACHIEVEMENT uses footage for Spyro: Attack of the Rhynocs which I can clearly recognise as being taken from my TAS of the game.
Because the uploader of the video does not credit any sources of the footage in the description, I believe that this constitutes plagiarism.
TASVideos site policy states that TASes hosted by the site should always be properly credited and referenced. I don't want people to be sharing my work without credit - I put three months of on-off work into the original run, and another month on the second iteration. It's a waste of the author's sweat and toil.
I don't have a Youtube account yet, but if I did, I'd be taking action right now.

Every week that goes by, my heart sinks a little lower when I see the lack of MM9 on the Workbench.

BUT THE HYPE REMAINS REAL.
P.S. Somewhere in this world, there is still a lonely AzumaK holding his breath.

There's this old (circa mid-noughties) PC game my friends and I used to play all the time on the school computers.
At the start of the game, you are presented with a bunch of suspects' mugshots and their desriptions.
In order to find the clues, you have to travel on the London Underground (with tubemaps and lines and stations and all that), before travelling by road, with a Google StreetView-esque screen. You also have to explore the countryside using Ordnance Survey maps (though I'm not sure where in the order of events that goes).
Once you've found all the clues, you have to decide which of the suspects is the culprit, and if you're correct, you go to their house and arrest them, or something like that.
As far as I'm aware, the game was only released in the UK, so good luck.

Aw, man. You know you're in for some crud when Central Park is the first level.
Aside from that, I didn't really 'get' this TAS. Sure, you guys may have pointed out some mildly entertaining moments, but, for me, a game's music is one factor that can make or break my enjoyment of a TAS... and this particular game fell short in that department.
Sorry, usedpizza, but I'm going to vote Meh.

"For a body subject to a central force, Newton's equations for the radial and transverse components of the acceleration reduce to:
r'' - r(theta')2 = f(r),
r2 theta' = L,
where f(r) is the force per unit mass, and L is the angular momentum (constant).
[Where I've put ', it means d/dt]
a) If u = 1/r, show that
r' = -L (du/dtheta)
r'' = -L2u2 (d2u / dtheta2)
b) Show that Newton's equations reduce to the following ODE for u,
(d2u / dtheta2) + u = -f(1/u)/L2u2"
I'm stuck on this question on a physics assignment. Anyone know how I should approach this one?

Sings the words "Yes vote" to the tune of the Darkwing Duck theme
Personally, I've never had any qualms about destroying stuff other than the bosses themselves in the boss fights. In Steelbeak, it's practically mandatory, and it makes Moliarty's fight a lot quicker by influencing his pattern.
Anyway, to make a comment regarding screenshots... For publication, I'd recommend either #1 or #4. The #3 screenshot should not be used, because it's not actually in the movie.
