guys, is possible for sonic and tails collect the rings inside the walls in sandopolis 1 and icecap 2? I'm searching ways to enter in the terrain in SO1 with a very hight fall-speed but I can't enter like Knuckles. in ICZ2 I can't reach the enough heigh to grab the rings in the sky and the 3 inside the walls. any tips or sonic retro discoveries?

Good question, but the reason for the speed up in this project is; Excluding Sandopolis 2 and Mushroom Hill 2 all zones are level warps, and I have greatly improved the times compared with the S&K TAS published ( 13 seconds ahead in SO2 as example and I redo this act 9 times, I'm sure its really optimized as hell now ) with the help of WST and Marzo. Anyway I'm looking for improvements in the last zones, luckily I still did not find anything, and I still not going to submit it obviously fast, I need to analyze it before do it.

Uhm... the main idea of this run is following the branches of this run: Marzojr Sonic 100% no underflow, really deserve to be rejected for following these branches?, I'm not trying to obsoleting Upthorn's run because would be exactly equal to any% TAS, only including chaos emeralds (a judge can consider this). The sonic 100% TAS had good acceptance, come on. The movie in general have a possitive aceptance (79%) and have seen some movies published not very entertaining lately (for me) , and this run I do not think this run deserve this fate, I do not say it because it is mine, because it is very solid in general, showing new glitches, strats, etc. Can a judge reconsider this please?

I finished AIZ in my S+T ring attack and improved 1 second ACT 1. Sonic + Tails ring-attack up to AIZ2 Sonic + Tails ring-attack Savestate / to play this movie Video Link to video The only thing left is skip the bridge event like in the published TAS, anyone know how?

With underflow I think +4 min IGT and more RTA time I guess, keep in mind that MGZ2 and IceCap can be skipped and Knuckles can do underflow in the following zones. HCZ2, MGZ (skip act2), CNZ1, skip ICZ, LBZ1, MHZ1, FBZ1 and 2, SO1, LRZ1 and 2. This movie is like a "Mario warpless" but in a Sonic game and 100% completion, It would not make sense to do a 100% underflow TAS (for me), because for the time and effort invested in that movie and would be literally like this. Thanks man, I really apreciated you help, for some reason 2 of the movies desync and the sound is distorted (maybe for a old gens version or room?) but that one with the unreachable ring works fine. you route planned looks very well, I will use it in the future, for now I will continue with the previous zones first.

Considering now there are only 19 rings in kte path in MGZ2. I think it is not convenient to collect them, the hyper transformation consumes me +30 rings I will surely discard this part of my route, the idea is to show how many rings + tvs + giant rings can grab sonic and tails per level, without transfor of course and show an big damn-f*cking ring amount in the hud. And thanks for you POV yogwog, maybe you still have you gmv's with sonic and tails? It would be nice to see your work done. P.S: can and admin verify my savestate if is good for TAS Videos rules? I would not like to continue and then reject the movie for this in the future. GMV and savestate

Before continuing with my ST movie, I have a question about the savestate; when I open the gmv gens says: "Desync Warning" "The state you are loading is inconsistent with the current movie. "Savestate contains no input data." But the movie never desync and works fine, any answer?

I can suggest a "Normal" and "Camhack + No super music" encodes if the movie is published? Sonic hud can disable super music without edit nothing

Testing the levels I realized that there is a particular difficult act, Marble garden 2, Sonic and tails canot grab all the rings, if they go to Knuckles boss they canot grab those rings from his path and upside down. But i found a possible solucion: Hyper Sonic With hyper sonic can rise to the moving part in Knuckles path, the ground is not loaded in the memory and I can go trought it here and use tails to go up to Knuckles boss Here is an image. MGZ 2 test route I'm not sure to use this strategy, sadly is impossible jump up to Knuckles path with lightning shield and tails for the sky limit

No one boss is skipped in this run, Maybe you'll get confused at CNZ 2 but Knuckles don't fight against bosses in his story in this zone. And please guys, take a little serious this submission, read the notes, vote based on seeing improvements compared to Upthorn TAS, the entertaining value if you like it or no (this I understand) instead of see only the goal list, is not april fools submission or whatever is celebrated in EE.UU. Maybe I get confused on what I say but it's my point of view when I voting for a TAS. Thanks

The encode is not edited in any sense, the Sonic's Lua HUD can disable the "super/invincible" theme with one of his features without editing the video.

I was all set to tell you off, but having watched up through CNZ, I find I have to agree. IMO, disallowing underflow without disallowing zipping completely leaves too much room to skip "most" of an act. If I want that I'll watch an any%.

I'm working on a Knuckles Any% with all glitches to, but it will take time. If it works, Marzojr told me something that Nitsuja once told him about Sonic categories.

Yes the super spindash is more faster, but sadly I checked and when transform in hyper knuckles in the giant ring room I can't pass through the walls anymore, I don't know really this glitch is very insane to understand. Btw, is only for show a more "funny" boss battle situation, this may consider a Speed entertaiment/trade off.
