Yes, i think i lose 120 frames in the last part of kte path, i see a little slow i will improve that part later
fun fact: the ring monitor trick take me 10 re-records and the tunels around 200/300 each :P

Today finally I was able to finish Angel Island, improved theyogwog times several seconds, after seeing in real time I am sure I can finish AIZ 1 in 1: 39/1: 40 and AIZ 2 around 2:07

Nice tricks in CPZ2 skychase, maybe improve you run later :)
Metropolis 2
In this level there are 4 groups of unreachable rings (3 rings per group)
Knuckles can reach 3 of these but I decided to ignore the third group above the invulnerability monitor and grab the 2 groups that take less time, the third group takes me about 3/4 minutes to get there and grab them, the fourth group only Sonic and Tails can grab them.
If anyone knows how Knuckles can grab these 2 groups without spending so much time, let me know.

I hope one day some Sonic TASers return, this forum section is a little dead :(
Also, I was practicing with the Frame Advance and I did a run in Metropolis 1, personally I see a dramatic difference controlling Knuckles, today was a productive day.

Thanks Zurggriff, about the submission i don't really want to do it for now, my main objective is improving my skills, is for that reason that I register here, it's a pity that many sonic tasers are no longer playing and the help of WST is really grateful and apreciated and I'm having fun doing this Ring-Attack.
Maybe do a submission of this run in some months (like 4/6+), first i want to lear how to TAS well and learn and test all of the glitches and tricks of this game.
On OOZ2 it was fun to do it, there were many variants to try, if you see the demo well, improve some of your movements that delayed you a little, but the last unreachable rings was a very difficult movement for me (for now).

Well, i'm start TASing around 1/2 months instead he does it since 2012, it is obvious that I have much to learn even (nobody is born knowing i guess)
About frame advance I do not know how this works perfectly, maybe my runs will look a bit ugly with the absence of this.
I also do not lose anything doing my version of OOZ2 in case he does not let me copy his input ( I have my way to make an "ugly" run and then optimize it well and upload it to my youtube channel) It sounds very stupid but it's my particular way of seeing errors and fixing these

Well.. this is my first attempt in OOZ 2 using zurggriff strategy.
Idk what he does in 1:33 with the camera, so I decided to return to normal speed and finish the rest of the level. I know I forgot the ring monitor in the last part, later I will modify my route a bit.

Thanks for this big improvement in HTZ2 WST, To be honest I did that trick with the camera and the door crushed me or could not pass lol, maybe I did not make enough tests, anyway thank you.
About EHZ i think can save a lot of seconds if I take your any% run as an example in some parts that require speed and ignoring some times the 15 frames in glide falls.
I also recorded OOZ1 today if you want you can give me more tip for optimize my runs

I am practicing OOZ2, it is really difficult to control the speed that Zurggiff arrived, but as they say, practice makes the perfection.

Thanks for your help Zurggriff, really appreciated. And the film of OOZ2 is totally crazy, I need to learn how to handle that speed, on metrolopolis 2 I know how to reach the rings on the walls, maybe it will take me more work to do these zones but I will do my best to do it well.

About Mystic Cave 2, i found this way to get all unreachable rings as knux, in consecuence you can reach the perfect bonus.

You must wait to the badnik enter in the Red terrain and perfom the glide jump to reach the rings in the top, maybe this trick spend 45~60secs in a normal run but if you perform this correctly can collect alls rings in this zone and reach the "Perfect Bonus".
Pros:
* You can collect all rings.
* You can earn the "Perfect Bonus" in Mystic Cave 2.
* More Score.
* You win 1 life. (?)
Cons:
* You spend 45-60 seconds in a normal run.
* Only as Knuckles ( but you can collect this rings as Hyper Sonic +Lightning Shield, Sonic and Tails, Tails alone in Sonic Classic Heroes).

I am making a ring attack attemp on this game, so i have a question for some zones.
¿Is there a way to get the 20 unreachable rings in Casino Night 2?
¿I can get the 6 unreachable rings in Oil Ocean 2?
In Hill Top 2 ¿I can go back after enter in the lava chamber?
¿And i can get the unreachable rings in Metropolis 2?
I am playing as Knuckles, have more glitches, climb walls and can glide.
Is not a problem if no have a way to get these rings, the objetive is collect the max amount possible per level as knuckles, glitches or not.

Hi, I'm not sure if S2K is a hack or a lock-on official game, but we made a ring attack run in EHZ 1/2.
The runs are very improvable, i'm working on Chemical Plant have some interesting routes to take and save time, the objetive is collect all single rings for perfect bonus and ring monitors for the max amount of these per level.

Yeah the tunnel is hard too, Fortunately i take arround of 25 rerecords to perfom the tunnel jump and save 1-2 seconds in knuckles path, and i chose the Glowing Spheres bonus stage instead of Gumball Machine for save a lot of frames. BTW is not the total run, is a demo recorded a few days ago, i am working on the monitor, i need to glide in a specific height and break it in the last pixel of the hitbox.
