Good job, but before do the manipulation check if the second room of the pipes will got a good sync , because I lost time here too. And I think you uploaded the wrong .gmv, I see the old HCZ1 v2 that got 2:29 and has less rerecords than my post-improvement

*Evil to the rescue* Good news, I saved 26 frames up to 0:32.30 in the level analyzing the first loop rolls of the characters, fortunately switching places (Sonic above and Tails in the loop) saved 31 frames first, but I lost 5 adjusting the position in the platform under the 6 floating rings. I have adjusted the position and the pixels until 32:30 to see if you can resynchronize it, because in the rest of the level I did not find anything, even I analyze it frame by frame http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1884803138/Evil_3D-TheYogWog-kaan55-S3K-ST-ringattack.gmv It's amazing how a insignificant route change can save half a second.

Since the emeralds have no use in this game, is not better leave the SS with the "goal" instead of losing time collecting the emerald? because in some SS you can do that Or you will go for a 100% as secondary goal?

For personal feeling I think will be better if you play the special stages in every first act of the zones, to be less tedious to watch because some people dislike a lot the special stages in this game. It would be like this
GHZ 1 -> SS 1
MZ 1 -> SS 2
SYZ 1 -> SS 3
LZ 1 -> SS 4
SLZ 1 -> SS 5
SBZ 1 -> SS 6

Starry Night ACT 1 in 0:26.23 thanks to 2 new loop zips and 16px walls abuse. I guess I'm done with SNZ, I don't want it to become a zip-fest.

Nice job with the final boss. What was with those pauses?
Like animal manipulation and Aquatic Ruin boss, you can make the final zone boss in S1 appear fast watching an address and pause at a specific value, is not hard at all, maybe WST can explain you this, I don't remember the adress atm

That's a pity that some good GC/Wii games have sync problems because this is a very good run, even deserve a star, I hope in further Dolphin version this can be fixed. I think that having no communication with the author (even the submission text is only in Japanese seeing that the site is usually English) make things more difficult for the encoder. I would suggest that the submission be paused until the author is contacted.

The only utility of the death in HCZ2 is for allow the underflow, also, if Tails can do it alone I guess Knux and Amy can too.

About halfway into the level we need the walk-on-water object for something far more important and there aren't any zips we can use afterwards to get rid of it.
We don't necessarily need to kill Sonic on HCZ2 to have a better objects sync, you can just waste some time in the signpost time to have even a better cycle and In-game time.

AFAIK The object that allows Sonic to run on water deloads when he dissapear in the screen, like doing a zip, I recommend you to test what zip removed the object, I can only see 2 of them, boths underwater For my eyes, the spindash on the spike clip removed the object, try to not use it (the spindash) and test if works Update: Yes, I can confirm that the spike clip is the problem, you should to avoid him, or found a way to grab the monitor and spring without the spindash and gets ejected

Thanks guys, I will try to optimize these levels. For some weird reason the last boss only need 1 hit to be defeated and the "cutscene" at the end is a little bug I hope there are no problems for a submission

Wow, that was fast! no matter how much good TASer you are in this game, we can't be mastered it honestly, we always founds shortcuts. Anyway I would like to keep intact SN2/3, since it's a hack never submitted here I would prefer not to destroy the levels so much, since I feel bad for the poor Mysti Maze, he is still recovering in the hospital.

Thank you, SNZ2 is the most mind blowing level so far and the best, the funny part is the camera trying to follow Sonic while he is at the speed of sound :) Can you check the last zone? I'm not very sure how to start it and you are good at routing level hacks, if we finished this zone we can submit it here, only if you are agreed and don't feel imperfection in the previous levels. Well, there are a SMB thread in the forum since 2004. Why did you guys try to talk about this in the topic before? these situations make it appear that many of the SMB TASers have little communication between them and ends in a drama in the workbench at the point that they end up talking about Humans vs. Robots

Nintendo don't will take down all of the videos of his games, because it will be ridiculous, they released a game to the people buy it, after that the person can do everything he want to the game, streaming, gameplay, speedrun, tasing or even pirate it (wich is illegal the last fact), there are a lot of twichers and youtubers earning money recording gameplays of his games too (Idk if they will have to pay a percentage to nintendo) If nintendo put letters in the matter they will take down the typical sites where you can download their pirated games, but trying to fight against piracy is like trying to patch a hack in an online game, no matter how you try, there will always be a more powerful cheat and improved than the previous. in short, nintendo wouldn't erase videos from his games because it would extinguish thousands of gameplays channels

Even if level wraps weren't patched I would've suggested not using it. I personally hate seeing it performed in romhacks since it feels like you don't wanna show the game off. I wouldn't mind if we broke the levels any other way though.
Agreed, is good zipping in a level hack but not looks good skiping all of it, but some times you can zip to the end in some stages

btw I got Sonic Hud to work with this romhack by changing the checksum. If you want I can give you the modified file.
Just write it here, I can change it manually
