This is very cool stuff. I'll try it out later tonight. I have no background. It's just blue. I'm so boring.

I can't answer all these questions, but hopefully a few answers is better than no answers. 1. I don't think it's impossible to fly under water per definition. In VD2 it's not possible though. 2. You can fly under lava in some places in Super Demo World. If the level layout is the same in Super Mario World (ie if the lava doesn't extend further down below the screen or something) it should be possible. 3. Have no idea. 4. It looks doubtful to me. Of course, lots of stuff is possible in this game so who knows. I certainly don't :) 5. Have no idea. 6. Pretty certain it's not possible. 7. Somewhat certain it's not possible. Interesting idea. I think the fact that you don't keep flight when bouncing off springs kills it though.

That was the scene I was thinking about too, although it apparently was wrong. I was keeping a good pace on this a few weeks ago. For the past two weeks though, I haven't done anything. Until earlier today, when I finished Awesome, which turned out Way Cool (awesome!). We already did these jokes in the irc channel but might as well repeat them here, right? RIGHT? So anyway yeah, halfway through the special levels. I could possibly see myself working at a faster pace in the coming weeks, but we'll see.

Ugh, that's alot to redo. Hope hexing in some stuff works. Anyway, I don't have anything new to say really. It's still looking very good. Keep it up!

I'm still not 100% sure about what makes a movie star-worthy, since I feel the requirements change from time to time, but this movie can't be a great introduction for first-time viewers, can it?

You work really fast and the results are really really good. I can't find anything to improve. Poor Ice Bomber! Awesome, keep it up and this will be finished in no time :)

Sup Bag, Great post man. Really, that was hilarious! Have you thought about becoming a proffessional writer? Because I think you could really make it, with the subtle jokes and the sarcastic comments people don't really get and everything! Truly top notch stuff. Let me know how it works out if you try it! Your friend, Fabian

If it makes you feel any better jimsfriend I totally got the A New Hope reference. Not because I'm a Star Wars geek because I'm not, but I saw the movie not too long ago.

Hi everyone. I'm done with the Star Worlds now if anyone's curious. I was messing around in Gnarly, the first special world, and accidentally found something cool. I hit the box with the P-switch in it, making it appear. Standing below the box + P-switch, I then jumped up to it, and grabbed the P-switch on my way down again. What happened was that the P-switch was now both in Mario's hands and still left on the box. "Cool", I thought. It turned out that once this glitch was started, I could copy the P-switch however many times I wanted by "grabbing" the original P-switch up on the box. When doing that, I'd simply grab a new copy of the switch, and the original would still be left on the box. I did this as small Mario, and I don't know if it's possible otherwise. I couldn't reproduce this glitch when recording, which sucked. I doubt it would have any time saving application in SMW or SDW, but you never know, especially not with SDW. It's interesting to think about if stuff like keys or other objects could be duplicated in this way too. Having two keys would maybe speed up keyjumping, or something :) Edit: I did this completely by accident, when not recording and in real-time, by the way.

Beautiful said, you keep surprise us with these fine runs of yours :) In my eyes, you are currently the SMB2 King.
In my eyes too. And I'm guessing in almost everyone's elses eyes (grammar sucks, I'm guessing that wasn't right) too.

Come on, don't start it again. What's the point to write that?
I just thought it was a little funny that there was some confusion about exactly what was improved in your version compared to Sleepz and that people were asking questions about it. However, it seems to me that you and Vatchern misunderstood. It was a joke.

Real mature.
If you weren't so biased you'd think it was funny too you know.

Considering Phil's improvement over Sleepz movie was accepted and published I think it's absolutely ridiculous to even suggest that this movie should be put on "hold" or whatever you want to call it. And I don't use words like ridiculuous to describe just anything.

It looks very good, and that's an admirable work ethic. At 9:45 when going down the ladder, to me it looked faster to jump down to the right, but I'm sure you tested them both. One question. When you're standing (walking) somewhere and are about to fall down, does it save time to jump right before the ledge, speeding up acceleration? You did jump before the fall at 10:53, but not in some other places I thought it might save time, like 9:52 and 11:35. Ok I just tested it, and not jumping beforehand at 10:53 cost about 5 frames, so I'm guessing jumping might save time in the places I suggested, and possibly in other places as well.

Just wanted to say I think it's great that you've regained interest in finishing this. Unfortunately I have no help whatsoever to offer about the "manipulation" of monsters and the problems associated with it, but I hope someone else does. I'll try to help out in any way I can with the actual gameplay like route planning if it's not finished already. Good luck!
