Encode of the older movie, this link will break when I repurpose the Archive.org collection, including a change in the header. So, yeah, reencoding in SD and HD. Give the SD encode 5 hours until it's hosted somewhere, and the HD encode between 24-48 hours as of this post.

I just saw this topic again after all this time... *takes a peek at every Publisher's uncapped YouTube account*... I get the feeling that the practicality of this plan has worn off.

YouTube HD SD Download My lord, this game has terrible audio quality. Why didn't they use new samples instead of ripping them from the SNES? Yes vote onto the TAS, either way. Uploading my own HD and SD encodes as soon as Team Fortress 2 finishes updating now. Yes, I'm aware there is improvements, I'm slow, okay? :p

That doesn't look half bad at all, and the size is way more than reasonable for me. I would like to see how your logo and subtitles to look, however. If I may ask, what encoding settings did you use when encoding this video? I am also very interested in your ability to make H264+OGG MKV files, partially because I hate MP4 files with an absolute passion. Either way, Quicktime as a media player is ass, I weep every time someone uses it as a primary media player.

Scattered? Do you mean as when they start being displayed? Or where they are on the screen?

Meh, someone just needs to be crazy enough to try to dump it 100 times =p
I gave up at 10.

Uh... that's... just a specialized encoding script for HD movies. What exactly do you mean by 3D? Either way, I will never ever use plugins for any of my scripts. I intend for them to be as interoperable as possible and only limited by the AviSynth revision used. This also makes it easier to interpolate scripts between 32-bit and 64-bit versions of AviSynth.

This maybe isn't the best way to fix this desyncing problem, but would it maybe work if the last 800 frames or so got remade to avoid the enemies attacks better? As best I've also managed to sync it until the final boss, before where a laser nailed them. I'm in no way saying you should do this X2poet, but merely asking if this solution might work? Well, at least for those who can sync it to the end. Then some encoder could fix the rest.
I agree completely, I also think that having action all the way to the very end could end up enhancing the entertainment value anyway.

This. Ryuto, that offer to commission drawings from you is still up for offer.

Either way, I'm completely out of commission for encoding now. It's basically up to Mister Epic and Aktan now. I'd love to see either produce an encode... I'm a bit worried this won't be able to be published because no one can actually sync it and encode it (Only person I can recall is Sonikkustar, who I can and will teach to encode if he asks).

SD download YouTube I'm up for this at, the very least, being published alongside the existing Brain Age movie. As in, quite literally inside the same publication... assuming the site is actually capable of handling that. Yes vote.

I synced it, don't worry. Meanwhile, let's just focus on FerretFaucet's avatar. It's cute.

I wasn't allowed to watch Spongebob Squarepants when I was a child. Whatever Mum was trying to prevent, it clearly didn't work.

Well, I've spoken to the guys in #tasvideos... Aktan, being as crazy awesome as he is, is going to try encoding this himself, complete with hacking apart the input file.

X2poet... uh... I think you've kind of missed the grasp of the situation. My statement was pointing out what the 2009 Metal Slug X movie (When it synced) didn't desync at the end of the input when you have to unpause. Put simply, I was making comparisons.

I end at that frame, and I unpause at that frame, and I still get a desync for every attempt I've tried at playing back and unpausing at that frame. I've spent at least 6 AVI dumping attempts. I don't really get it, the previous 2009 movie didn't desync.

Okay, I can get the run to sync all the way to the end... then I unpause it and get a standard game over 30 seconds later. I don't get it.
