For comparison, what if someone submitted a run of A Link to the Past that uses the mirror glitch (use the Magic Mirror when jumping off a ledge) instead of walking through the stairs, in order to reach the Triforce room and skip most dungeons and final Ganon? Would that obsolete the full-game run, simply because it didn't activate the game-breaking skip in the same manner?
A Link to the Past would most probably get a "Magic Mirror Glitch" category.

Yes because you are the only person who never updates!
At least I'm not the guy that's incapable of making working MKV files.

SD encode YouTube HD Main difference is the less invasive subtitle placement and smaller filesize.

Well, your YouTube video is 10:32; mine is 11:01 since I kept one full-loop of the ending credits song, as suggested in the encoding guide.
I didn't take any particular care with the HD encode, since I knew Grunt would refuse to let it be published anyway (Even though I really don't like your subtitle placements, due to them obscuring the player character a significant amount, also the reason I made a replacement SD encode).
I'm sorry to tell you that, but I think you've wasted your time with your HD encode, since Nahoc made one. Unless you've wanted to do this for fun. And for the SD encode, nice job, and stuff, but it was Nahoc's chance to shine as a future Publisher. I think it was somehow a little bad move. However, I'd love to know how did you do that, but we'll talk about it when we'll catch up on the IRC channel.
One encode isn't much of an impedance (Though, as I stated, Grunt will completely ignore me anyway), the Publisher position is almost too easy to obtain, even with competitors!

It's worth noting that my SD encode is also uploading, heh.

I'll bang up a HD encode, since Undie's seems to be inoperable currently.

Due to Grunt and I refusing to accept the first place prizes, Aktan is the encoder of the year! Congratulations!... now can a moderator please lock the polls? Also, a note to Aktan, the prize is nontransferable to other people and can only be given up to the person next in place in this poll.

Hey, guys, we need one final tie-breaker vote so that I can close this poll!

Admittedly, my flow of encodes has dried up recently (Thanks to a holiday I recently took), but I do try and watch and review every game that I encode. Granted... I don't usually give much more criticism than 'Yes vote' or 'No vote'. I do give proper feedback when I feel it is appropriate, however. I've actually been watching less movies due to the fact that mmarks and Mister Epic are encoding things before I get the chance.

I was exaggerating the problem. I still absolutely hate Gens's sound emulation, however, it really isn't helping the reputation of the sound system (Granted, most games did just have genuinely bad music).

If we wanted to have accurate emulators, we wouldn't use Mupen, PSCX, Gens (soundwise), Final Burn Alpha... let's face it. It's a minefield, and it's best left as it is.

andymac, if you're going to get me to encode something, don't submit something overnight while I'm sleeping. Other people will encode it, completely ruining the point of me encoding this in the first place. Telling me all the authors is probably a good idea too... because these encodes are invalid anyway. Here's the SD encode you wanted

Naohiro19, ROM distribution is not permitted via the IRC channels either, assuming that is what you are implying. I may as well pick up trying to encode again, HD encode, here we come.

Poll basically reset because manually updating this is stupid. Previous votes don't count anymore, votes after this post will.

I really should have added a Don't vote for yourself clause. Too late now, heh. I vote Mister Epic, by the way. He's a very enthusiastic encoder, and has a strong future ahead of him.
