As much as I am interested in this game being TASed... I really think we need to get the first game down first in terms of being actually optimised. I am however, very interested in a four player TAS.

Uh... well... wow. Thanks. O.O Trust me when I say this, it isn't just me that has been doing all the work, people such as Aktan, OmnipotentEntity, ShinyDoofy among others contribute to this work quite heavily. If I forgot you, please know, I thank you too... good lord, I sound like a 1 billion dollar a year company! And personally? I'm not satisfied with the screenshots I select with the publications, it'd be helpful if viewers suggested frames... That, and I REALLY need to get around to archiving Super Mario RPG. Edit: I just tried to archive it... and it completed... AND I GET THROWN A GIGANTIC 'NO FILE UPLOADED' MESSAGE. And you all wonder why I hate the archive. 3 hours of uploading down the drain, literally. I NEED SOMEONE WITH A 30MBITS PIPE TO ARCHIVE THIS GAME, I AM NOT A PROFICIENT UPLOADER, I NEED HELP!

Archive.org Mediafire Dailymotion Potential optimized screenshot: Encoded at 150 for video, -2 for the audio. The audio is 1mb and the video is 5.5mb. ...and I've already created a torrent. If this isn't a Yes vote, I don't know what is. I would like someone else to post a better screenshot though.

What media player are you using? It works perfectly in VLC for me. Can I suggest downloading Aktans MKV that is posted earlier in the thread and see if that works?

Archived. See, this is why I keep archiving all the new publications, because I know this situation will happen.

DailyMotion (I removed the previous one due to desync) Archive.org (3.39 megabytes, 1/3rd of the size of Aktan's encode) Since I buggered up and added the SGB borders, I regress this encode be used for publishing. That, and I'm about to get 1-uped by the worlds best encoder. =3 ... Not in that way you dirty minded sob!

That's more than I can say for some of the more obscure published runs I've watched, where I see obvious mistakes where the author could have saved frames.
Care to post those in the games topics? It'd probably help the TASers to get some motivation if they were told that their run has flaws and that there is interest in getting them fixed.

If someone can completely download this movie, can I please ask of you to upload the movie to archive.org? Uploading it there will prevent disasters like this happening.

Anyone else find it funny that this two page argument about not judging movies too soon is occuring in a thread originally started to promote judging of movies that had stayed in queue for a year?
What can we say, TASVideos is like politics. You are either Liberal or Conservative, Liberal publishing after two days, Conservative taking one or two months.

Yes voted and not encoding. This thing is HARDER to encode then Shadow of the Beast... I think I'll leave it to some other encoder. =|

So I watched the YouTube encode... I knew it'd be fast... but I didn't expect it to be THAT fast. xD

What can I say, I'm easily wowed by speed, why else did I join TASVideos?

I never said anything about me being a majority, I just simply stated I liked faster rendering speeds.

Its main advantage is rendering speed, something majority of people evidently don't even care about.
Excuse me for digging up an old quote, but I care a lot about rendering speed. Why else do I use Chrome? ^_^

Perhaps it could be called the 'Glitched European' run?

Aktanusa's encode will be higher quality, but mine is half the size. Video data: 6.21 megabytes, encoded at 130. Audio data: 2.89 megabytes, encoded at quality -1. Final MKV size: 9.19 megabytes, I guess MKV's like a bit of 90 byte overhead. Mediafire Archive.org DailyMotion And I can't be stuffed making a torrent. Minor note of the encode: Half the artifacts there are, they are actually in the original lossless H.264 dump. I need to get off my ass and start encoding in the lossless CamStudio codec soon. Also, if anyone makes a lua script removing all the pausing, I'll be a very happy Flygon (Enough to encode again).

I posted my own encode to youtube to share with friends; it's good for anyone here until an official one is made up by one of you sexy experts!
And who is sexier then your local Flygon! Also, Yes voted. I just have a question... Was this games title screen designed to give people seizures?

Would be nice to have a LUA script that automatically skips the dialogs though.
I agree completely with this statement. I also retract my previous statement, I shall be indeed encoding this game tomorrow after I finish my IT exam in the morning. And if I get the spare time, I will encode the run with the said LUA script if it is posted.

I've been able to run it on a 1.6GHz Dual Core, 2gb RAM, 8600M GS based laptop. So, basically, if you have a PC that is made within the last 2 years, you'll get at least 30fps.
