So I decided to touch up that picture... and export it with the Java exporter for Colors! in 'HD'. Click me, this board just cannot scale images. =\ It is an incredible pain to make it look decent, there used to be a LOT more white spots where that came from, I can assure you that. It is a PitA just to get rid of them when using the DS's 512*384 image, because it literally hides them. Still, whats an image without a video of it being drawn. YouTube edition of it being drawn. (HD) DailyMotion edition of it being drawn. The Java tool also had an exporter... which I really really need to learn to use correctly. Here, enjoy a HD Peco Peco while you're at it. HD YouTube. DailyMotion.

Come on, that looks good.
Ever speak to a critic? =P @ElectroSpecter: I've seen some pretty creepy things over my internet 'life'. That's some of them.

Mr. Chins Gourmet Paradise (Game Boy) is so simple that even an idiot like me can touch it. =P The goal is in your face, luck manipulation is potentially simple (If not time consuming) and is simple to optimize. Plus have some unusual collision glitches that literally make you invincible.

For question 8, can I suggest adding that several long time members have never made a proper TAS? *Points at himself*

In my defense, I always announced it in the forum topic.

Rule 8 is kind of silly, in a way. I broke it publicly for several months and well... never got touched.

The SMS edition is more entertaining, and personally, I think entertainment should take priority. 160*144 just does not give any proper scope of the speed you see, 256*224 will give more sense of speed and comprehension.

I know a very obscure GB game that would be ideal for TASing. Though the fact that I've dabbled in it probably gets rid of any proper chance, plus there is probably much better games out there. But yeah, I'd like to be a spectator of one of these contests, my skills just don't quite extend out there.

But do TASers have artistic skills? Even though I've never had a published TAS, I can firmly say I don't. But do you?

Why cannot rewinding be added as a core feature to all emulators? It sounds like a very useful feature to me.
I agree with this statement completely. It is part of the reason I've lost my motivation to continue the Mr. Chin run (Along with well, my sheer laziness >.>").

Can I suggest making a list of simple games to learn to TAS? I think one would be very helpful for beginning TASers. For example, Mr. Chins Gourmet Paradise is an incredibly simple game (Hell, not even up or down are used) with some very easy to master mechanics, yet I never see it being mentioned as being 'simple to learn' (Not that obscurity helps). But yeah, long story short, can I recommend a 'Learners Choice' list, a 'complete' one?

This man of intelligence and honour has put in the honest truth. Dignity of this game shall only be achieved when TASed in a Master System like manner.

The Spriters Resource uses ads to keep its website up. They host ripped sprite imagery from video games. We make up input to play video games. No one has sued TSR. I think we are safe.

The hard part in doing that will be able to make our videos consistently popular. While several users on this site have such accounts, they are personal accounts and honestly, I wish not to barge in on their privacy.

I see no reason not to, it is your account and you do whatever the hell you want with it, though I do see it ethically correct to donate to TASVideos the proceeds. About making a TASVideos account on YouTube adelikat, that won't be happening unless we somehow converted rogueyoshi's account to a TASVideos account, and personally, it's still his account in the end.

Have you compressed the audio at all? The only reason I can think an encode with a competent codec would be so big is because of the fact it's using PCM audio.

Requirements: decent upload speed
Which is exactly why I've had a hard time getting uploads in (Barring the fact that most of the torrents are dead anyway >.>". Anyway, lets just say that Australian internet BLOWS, 384 kilobits a second), so much so I've been losing motivation (Though in the making of this post, I've magically gained some motivation xD). But yeah, we could use some more people that aren't going to blow up the account. WE NEED SEEDS FOR TORRENTS! THIS PROJECT IS IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT YOUR SEEDS!

Wouldn't it be simple enough to transcribe the published MKV to AVI?

Use a better filter, like the HQ ones. Trust me, you will never go back. Edit: In response to the below post, I was talking to the topic creator, not you, the creator seems pretty intent on using filters, I just gave him a better suggestion. =p

ROM hacks have all the time in the world, commercial games have to get things done by a deadline and often don't have the time for bug testing and the such needed to do this sort of thing, I guess.
