The publication seems to be missing the "heavy glitch abuse" tag. Does this not qualify?

Last known working version is 4.0-5400, as it was the build before the new hotkey changes. It can be grabbed here: https://dolphin-emu.org/download/dev/c18c50a0e103db76da1834855efd4e136953afe7/

I've noticed this happening and felt I needed to post about it. Sometimes when I hit frame advance, the next frame will hang for a while, and then if I press it again, the game will unpause. (I'm on 4.0-7099, btw) This seems to happen at random, but I'd like to know if this is a known issue or I just messed something up. It's definitely a hindrance from a tasing standpoint.
Known issue, it's been marked as a release blocker within the Dolphin issue tracker.

Decided to encode a A2600 run, but it seems like the encoding script provided by feos does not account for A2600 dump resolution. Is there any specific settings that I need to apply to make it work properly?

Be sure you HAVE RUN game before running .dtm after openning dolphin. There is 1 more lag in first game running.
So you’re basically starting from dirty SRAM? Lol.
Appears to be an issue with Dolphin moreso than dirty SRAM.

Perhaps Low%, no ACE would be a more applicable branch

I don't know how to fix this, but the last input is on frame 55531 which is 15:25.52, we just let the credits roll :)
you can play it back to the final frame of input and export the movie recording

Yeah, I'm having the same issue. I'm betting it was the Wii NAND sync.
If that's the case, can you try a version prior to 4.0-6512? Preferably 4.0-6502

Yes, the save exist in the wii save folder. But when I record a movie, Dolphin doesn't seem to load up my save. It'll only load up my save when I run a game normally without recording
Which game are you playing?

Does the save file exist in the memory card?

I have no idea on what's going on but when I normally TAS, I use both the GC Pad and the TAS Input. But when I switch to either TAS Input or or GC Pad then load a savestate, Dolphin emulator suddenly crashes on me for no reason. Can someone please tell me what's going on?
This should have been fixed as of 4.0-6940

I've decided that I'll be working on a THUG2 Classic Sick TAS either after or during my THUG1 Sick TAS. However, for optimal time, unlockable special tricks are required. A verification movie will be required to unlock the special tricks and gather max stats.

If you guys could also create an issue tracker report here, that would be cool: https://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/list

It appears to be using a custom file format across the board for compression purposes. EDIT: As for hitboxes and such, you would probably be better looking at the emulator itself instead of files within the ISO. Perhaps some form of lua script could help you guys along your search.

what a legend, definite yes EDIT: to compare to RTA runs, this run is (with my quick mental math) 7:52. doesn't quite beat the current record, which is 7:37 by domakr, but given that that run is on PC and this run is on gamecube, which is 1:10 slower, i think it'll do. ;)
To clarify this a bit further, 7:52 is not taking into account loads and such. To remove the loads so that it's similar to the PC version, the final time would be 6:42.

I bolded the ones I found rather odd wierd...curious, since isn't that the whole purpose of hardest difficulty to make the game harder? And also for most cases (that I've experienced), it's of course much faster to do easiest difficulty lol.
To compare between the different difficulties, Easy Difficulty requires 400 points to progress to the next level, 500 for Normal, and 800 for Sick. To compare to RTA times for each category, the current PC world records for Easy is 7:37, normal is 10:31, and 21:44 for sick. The game drags on quite a bit in terms of entertainment after the initial 400 points are achieved, so I took the liberty of choosing the easiest difficulty for entertainment purposes. It was also the most requested difficulty setting for a THUG2 Story Mode TAS.

Niice, Whats up with the "Hurricane" goal, is that first missed jump necessary to jump higher up the drink?
First jump to get off the board. You need to double jump to acid drop into the drink.

Link to video Australia completed, skip to 4:06 for Australia. Found a new trick/strat where if you somehow bail when reaching the arcade, you can skip the delay waiting to start the run. In this case, I hopped into a police officer who will knock you down if you go near him. Sound goes out of sync in Australia

Jesse (the dude in the scooter) is a character by design to never be able to bail. Ever.
