Is there another completion criteria other than "all levels"?

Just noting this here, but the run will sync with JPC-RR r11.7 without any issues with default settings.

I've uploaded a temp encode for this run, and has been placed into the submission notes.

According to this submission, JPC-RR shouldn't exceed the default speed of 50. In this case it was referencing specifically to CD-Man, but I think it should be the general guideline as well.

I was curious if there was any progress on the TASing end of PPSSPP. I've been following the boards for some time, and I hope that progress can be continued.
I think the project is discontinued, sadly.
Unfortunately, this is the case.

I'm going to go ahead and start working on encoding this, since I'll need all the time I can get before new years.

For what it's worth, it needs an empty memory card in Slot 1. It might also require portable.txt to be created in the installation folder.
I've gotten it to sync now.

For the difficulty choices, what are the differences between the difficulties in this game?

Hey, sorry about the long delay in posting to this thread, but I'm fairly interested in this run and have not been able to get PSX emulation to work for me. Would anyone be willing to make an encode? It would probably increase interest in the submission too. Thanks!
Sure, I can do a temp encode tonight.

I tried disabling Controller 2 and Memory Card 2 in the PSX tab, not sure whether it was applied though
checks Nah, you didn't. It's fine tho. If the game has next to no RNG this should be an easy fix to make. You need to make sure you've disabled these before you start TASing the game. And iirc you were halfway through before attempting to do this.
I attempted to change the sync settings but it desynced. I'm too lazy to try and fix it more. Nevertheless, it's fine as it is.

Should they ever reach a "cap" in size? Like, is there a point in a TAS where a .sav should stop getting bigger and/or slow down their size gains? Currently, my messing around have seen the size jump from 9MB when the game is still in the "before the player should press start for the first time" state to 23MB after doing some menus. This does seem kinda normal, but I hope that it doesn't increase as fast as the game goes on.
When you're playing back the final dtm file, you won't need the .sav unless you're doing a TAS movie starting from a save state.

There's a lot of data to save and load when dealing with save states in Dolphin.

There are doubts that his Barnstorming record is actually legitimate (like Dragster).

As far as I currently understand, there has not been any attempts to console verify any of the N64 Zelda TASes on console. I will say that the likelihood of a N64 Zelda TAS syncing on console any time soon is near zero. While dumping the TAS for publication, the run desynced early on if using anything other than the Jabo video plugin. This doesn't bode well for console validation on N64. As for the any% TAS situation, using an N64 emulator to use the specific GIM trick (which crashes on console) is not allowed, so the entire TAS would have to be done on Dolphin with either the GC version or the Virtual Console version. This of course has issues because the tool set is completely different compared to what the existing OoT TASers are used to. It would require a big learning curve for those who are interested in order to complete such a TAS.

Well, I made a mistake with the input file. There's about 7 minutes of blank inputs at the end of the file. Is there any way I can get this fixed? It doesn't look like I can swap out the input file I submitted with a fixed one.

I've been getting into Anime a bunch lately, after not watching since my very casual days probably 10+ years ago. So I decided to post what I've watched so far, and what I'm planning to watch. The gist can be found on myanimelist: https://myanimelist.net/profile/RisingFog Going into a bit more detail about the shows I've watched thus far: Mob Psycho 100: This was the first full series I watched, mostly because of the English voice actor of 9S in NieR: Automata was starring in it (yes, it was NieR: Automata which got me curious about anime's again). I'm glad I started with this series, as the animation and the story is simply great, with a relatively unique art style. Highly anticipating the second season. One Punch Man: Because I enjoyed MP100, I decided to also check out OPM as ONE created both shows. I didn't really enjoy this as much as I did MP100, but it's still a great show with great art and animation. I'm a bit concerned for the second season as the animation studio and some staff have changed, but I'm still looking forward to it. Attack On Titan: The hype anime of 2013, this was absolutely going to be on my plan to watch list. Definitely a lot darker than the previous two anime's I listed above thus far. It took a little bit to get into the groove, but now I'm fully on board. The four year gap between the first and second season seems to not have affected the anime, at least not something noticeable to me. My Hero Academia: The hype anime of 2016, this has become one of my, if not the favourite show from what I've watched thus far. Everything about this show has been excellent so far, and I'm eagerly awaiting to see the third season animated. Little Witch Academia: I was recommended this show by a few people, but this is probably the only anime thus far that I've put on hold and possibly will drop. I'm about 9 episodes in, and it's just not my kind of show. Maybe I'll finish it soon, but I moved on to other shows for the time being. Tokyo Ghoul: I picked this one up on my own as the visuals drew me into the show without knowing anything about the plot. Just about tied with Attack On Titan as the darkest shows I've watched. I went through this show over a few days, and really enjoyed what I watched. From what I understand, √A (the second season) completely deviates from the manga, so I'm putting the second season on hold until I read the manga. Yuri!!! On Ice: A complete departure from Tokyo Ghoul, I decided it was best to jump into Yuri On Ice after watching that. I had some faint ideas of what this show was going into it, but this show defied all my expectations (in good ways). The story was great, and the relationships between the characters are not over the top, and feels real. The French-Canadian skater is a douche though (not surprised by this). Looking forward to the movie and possibly second season. Death Note: Currently in the process of watching this show, 7 episodes in. I'm reading the manga simultaneously with watching the anime, so it'll probably take a bit for me to finish this one. The adaptation is relatively accurate thus far, haven't noticed any major differences. I've got a lot of shows on my plan to watch list, so I won't bother with writeups for those shows. I also picked up reading a bunch of manga too, which can also be found on myanimelist. As I keep going through shows, I'll post updates on what I've watched in here.
