I always only check stuff when it's almost too late. Does aiming for max score cost any time for this game? Or fastest time automatically gives you max score?
Fastest time should automatically give maximum score.

I'm going to re-bring something that was stated two different times in IRC (the blunder & correction). My blunder is admitting that a run with Renamon would be about 2 minutes slower than Reapermon. However I was accounting for Easy difficulty not Hardest. In this case when it falls to the hardest difficulty the time it would take to actually complete this TAS with a character that you're provided from the start skyrockets in terms on how much slower it would be. So that's the fact.
Regardless of that, we still don't accept save-anchored movies for Vault.

This movie shows that the vault rules should be changed to allow NG+ as a category. It seems very arbitrary to not allow it. There is no real reason to try to minimize the amount of potential categories, even in the vault, since space is not an issue.
I'd disagree here. If a submission is based on NG+, it should be entertaining enough or at least differ enough from the main game play to be of Moons material. In this case, NG+ did not make the run more entertaining, and did not differ enough from regular game play for this run to be considered Moons material (the run also did not aim for Moons).

Doing a quick comparison between the two movie files. The US version seems faster overall with faster text, but comparing the first two boss fights: Boss 1: mato - 1635 - 1693 = 58 mtbrc - 1734 - 1805 = 71 Boss 2: mato - 3663 - 3807 = 144 mtbrc - 3771 - 3873 = 102 Boss 1 did not use up + down + shot, but the second boss did. EDIT: The comparisons are all over the place, I'll be sure to have a detailed breakdown in the judgement.

For those who voted yes for entertainment, what did you find entertaining about this submission?

Is there a reason that the actual fights themselves take more time compared to the previous publication? Old - New 1:20 - 0:59 0:44 - 0:45 1:11 - 0:56

Probably we shouldn't crop a all? Or crop differently?
Reliable means I put it in the script and it works correctly for all situations. Right now the script is told to crop 16 from top and bottom, as I said. I also said that I don't know if square is close to authentic or not. You just say it's "correct".
I vote for no cropping, personally. Aspect ratio correction of 160x224 gives us 300x224, which is as close to 4:3 as you're going to get.

Can anyone give a quick summary of why a 22 Minute publication obsoleted an 11 Minute publication?
The previous publication was just for Sonic and Knuckles, with this publication also including Sonic 3.

https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/muscle-versus-fat/ This seems to indicate that being more lean makes it harder to float in the water compared to someone with more fat.

Looks cool. But it's SiD, not SID.
The font doesn't have any lowercase characters, so it appears the same either way. I lied, it does have lower/upper. Should I add the URLs to the logo?

I'll publish this if you're still encoding 007 in a few weeks.

I voted yes, since I was entertained (You had me at Batman). But I would much prefer to the good ending. It just one more fight, and we have to watch it for that long anyway, I'd rather see some action, not a lame intentional loss for the sake of lowering the input frames. Imo, this is moons material. I would strongly urge you to consider going for the best ending and entertaining your audience a little bit better.
I agree with this, I will be marking the run as delayed for a few days to see if any response has been made. If no response is seen, I'll be judging this as a Vault tier submission.

Are you using the same file across different emulator versions? If so, that of course won't sync between different versions.

Hello! I was wondering if freeruns (runs that go for entertainment rather than fastest completion) were allowed on TASvideos. I don't believe it's addressed anywhere, but I may have missed it in the rules. Thanks!
They are usually called playarounds.

Removed myself from this so it can be re-considered. I'm not going to bother dealing with it.

This was our final lua script for the event: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/38530848800286562 That contains information about hitboxes, HP, drops, positions, and field of view.

If you lose all of the boards, do you get the same ending as the first?

If a 100% run was made using the horizontal overflow glitch, how much time would that save compared to this current submission in theory?
