Why not good old Snes9X?

Oh there's another game I would like to see beaten (well, if it has an ending, that is!). I don't know how it's called, but you are a cop in a mall, and you have to chase after a thief. The mall spans across multiple screens. It has three floors, mechanical stairs on each end, and an elevator in the middle. It was pretty fun.

How can anyone vote anything other than No on a shallow game like this? Seriously, I don't get it.
Because you are judging it from a modern perspective. Atari 2600 games were all like this, because that's how video games were at the time (late 70's - early 80's). So, you have to bear this in mind when judging them. It also helps if you actually were around during that era, playing those games when Atari was king. This game was actually pretty fun back in the day. I remember playing it a lot when I was a kid. It's also pretty advanced considering the limitations of the system.

I played this game so much when I was a kid, though I could never beat it. It's actually pretty hard, even though enemies don't actually kill you. They just freeze you for a few moments, but there's a very tight global time limit, so you still need to dodge them. Oh, falling in the water in the bottom level does kill you.

Heh, it's like this was resurrected just in time for the premiere of Season 3 in eight days from now.

River Raid: Played the heck out of it as a kid. To this day I still don't know if it has an end. Frankenstein's Monster: Another game with multiple stages I could never "beat" (nor do I know if it has an end either!). I think stage four was the farthest I got.

Youtube staff don't check the validity of the copyright claims they get. Even if they are blatantly fake, the video will still be removed on the spot, because that's how their system works. It's sort of an automated process. File a complain, get a video immediately removed, no questions asked. You still have the option to dispute the claim, though.

For what's is worth, I also found this movie very entertaining and it would be a total shame to see it go. This is the second time I say this on this thread. Then again, as this thread has proved, entertainment value is a very subjective thing...

"Zazie WIINNSSSSS!! ... perfect" <= lol Weird announcer aside, the ox was perhaps the only noteworthy moment of the TAS. Voting meh.

I like the "Thank You!" version better, with the bonus stage in the background, followed by the enemy roll call and then the "The End" screen.

To each their own, I guess, but I can hardly see them being something other than a minority.

I don't get this "normal viewer" stuff. Who else but Street Fighter fans would watch this movie anyway?

Street Fighter Alpha 2 and Street Fighter Alpha 3 (Zero being the Japanese denomination of the Alpha series) are two different games. In the same series, yes, but two different games nonetheless: Different stages, different soundtrack, and a few fighters present in one game and not in the other, not to mention certain gameplay differences (moves/features/techniques unique to each game). For this reason, a SFA3 movie should never obsolete a SFA2 movie, on the grounds that it would make no sense. It would be like a Mega Man X2 movie obsoleting a Mega Man X movie. That said, in my opinion, this movie is pretty fun to be rejected. I didn't see that other movie, but I don't have to, for the reasons mentioned above.

I have to adress two things here: 1) Nifflas doesn't own Nicalis. In fact, Nifflas doesn't even work at Nicalis. Nicalis is owned by one Tyrone Rodriguez. It is this Tyrone dude who approached Pixel to negotiate the ports of Cave Story. Nifflas is just another indie developer who also made some business with Nicalis/Tyrone, kinda like Pixel. 2) Cave Story on WiiWare and DSiWare do run around 12% faster, but that's because the original PC game ran at 50 fps, while Nicalis' ports run at 60 fps. Why they did this? Because Pixel actually wanted the original game to run at 60 fps, but couldn't achieve that speed for some reason, so he had to settle for 50 fps at that time. Finally, the original version of Cave Story is still available, and it's still free, plus nobody is forcing no one to buy anything, so...leave people be?

"All claer"? Hahahah, oh Capcom... Fun movie, full of ownage. Voted yes. EDIT: About the Killer Instinct Vs. Street Fighter argument, I'm going to say I consider Street Fighter to be the superior game in every respect. I always saw Killer Instinct as a cheap Mortal Kombat knock-off, with lifeless, low-quality CGI graphics and characters that look like they are made of plastic; and are poorly animated to boot. The gameplay isn't that hot either. Killer Instinct just can't compete with either Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter, or even SNK's fighters (mainly King of Fighters series and Fatal Fury series).

Seems like bad game choice.
What? No, far from it! Did you never hear about this game? It's one of the highest rated indie games ever. It got so popular it was recently ported to WiiWare and DSiWare, with a 3DS remake on the way. And it got this popular for good reason, as this is a very well crafted action game. It might look simplistic on the outside, yes, but looks can be deceiving (in this case, they most definitely are!).

You can rip videos off YouTube with keepvid.com, which is what I did. Also, this TAS was pure awesome. I couldn't vote Yes hard enough.

I'm taking Super Mario Galaxy 1&2 for granted, so I'm gonna request Cave Story (best ending, of course). LostWinds 1&2 and Blaster Master Overdrive would be nice too. EDIT: Physics-based games like World of Goo and Fluidity would be great choices too. I would love to see the physics in those games thoroughly abused! :)
