I want you to comment on my games, then tell me which one you preferred between Super Mario Revolution or King of Puzzle. The newest games are made in Flash. Some of them are uncompleted and I want to continue one of them, so I need your choice. I've done the parts until the Ghost House in my v2. I added some new glitchs: one in the fence and the bug with the Pswitch and the fish. I beat the boss of the first castle about 5 frames faster than Fabian & JXQ's version (ignoring the score lag of 20 frames at the end). It's possible to do a chalenge here: show all the bugs you know, then finish the run fast as possible. If someone find a new bug or show all the same bugs, but more interesting to see, he can obsolete the preview run. I will make a better version later without useless parts shown in this one. Some parts as the two first death, where Mario carries a switch from the other side of the fence, getting the maximum score in the first level in the forest.

I don't think to make an other version, because it will be boring to watch. To be fast as possible in the autoscrolling level: 1: You must reach the right side of the screen fast as possible (running with the P meter). 2: Use the same trick as the wall jump (with the P meter full, slowdown then check if you can reach the right side more far) 3: Reach the right side of the screen. 4: Jump at the right side of anything soon as possible. It's possible to avoid every battle by doing quicksave, but it will make the movie, borring to watch. Think about seeing, returning to the main menu hundreds of time. What do you think about that?

Can you add a memory window that show all values of the game in real time like NES --> Debugger... --> Memory... in FCEU? It could help to control the random easily in some games. I used it to beat the final boss in Dragon Warrior in my movie. If possible: showing the selected addresss's value only. ( More as possible ) It can be used too, to know the exact amount of ennemies's HP in RPG games. Bug found in "Game Genie, Pro-Action Replay Codes": open this window, add a new cheat, press OK, open the window again, add an other one, delete the first cheat, press OK, open it again and oops the last one has been deleted too.

I'm doing a fast as possible version in Jurassic Park II, but there are random desynchros during certain rooms loading. I tried everything, but there is nothing to do. "Use WIP1 timing": prevent desynchro during mission breathing. Random desynchro points: #1: During loading of the last room in mission 1. #2: During loading of the main room after the completion of the second room in mission 4. #3: During loading of the main room after the completion of the third room in mission 4. #???: (Never be able to see after the random desynchro #3.) I'm working on a new version of the amazing run, but I need to know if this one is acceptable, because I use cheats to improve the quality of the movie. http://genisto.servehttp.com/projects/smb3_amazing_run_v2.zip Cheats used: unlimited of suits unlimited of: Mario become small unlimited of clouds (to skip borring stages) unlimited of stars (show some tricks) unlimited of music boxes take less time to run fast unlimited of time for stars and [!] My preview version desynchro again near the end of world 5 with the last version of Fceu or at the beginning of world 6 with the preview version. The movie finish at world 6 at the second castle. I formated a few days ago = all my save states are new and I have only the last version of Fceu. I will say you what I remember about my working in this level: I have done 2 attempts on this plant 1st: I jumped over it by firing to him, but I missed the target, but I have already saved that work when I realizet that. 2nd: I loaded from a preview save near the plant or do replay from save state 0 to redo this part. (I don't remember) I never loaded before the save state 0.

The random desync still exists in smb3. Random desync at frame 145422 (at the end of stage 6-1, on the last plant) http://genisto.servehttp.com/timeattacks/smb3_amazing_run_world6.zip I included a save state (beginning of world 6) in the zip. - - - - - - - - - - I have a suggestion to include in Fceu: Allow the user to put save states anywhere in the movie = It will allow people to show bugs or any suggestion to others and it can be an alternative way to prevent random desynchro. (When replaying the movie, it load every save at their frame)

Computer problem is solved. I've a bad and a good news: The bad news is: My game source has been corrupted when Windows has crashed (King of Puzzle) = I can't do the upgrade, but I successfully backed up my other projects. I've one back up of King of Puzzle, but it's old. The good news is: It seems that my amazing run in Super Mario Bros 3 work well with the last update of Fceu. I will continue it. About game making, I will publish my Mario Plus soon.

About Dragon Warrior. I just found myself a code enabling Radiant, but of course, it change the random. I tried it in my last version: the code work well, but I got a battle at frame 55114 (at the end of the last dungeon) the random begin to change at frame 54662. To enable the effect of Radiant: Goto the Cheats option Put 00D0 in the address field Put 007 in the Value field Push Add then Close If there is a + in the Cheats field: the code will work

Tip for Level 12: There is something to do with the first rock. Tip for Level 13: Try moving before getting stuck.

Answer of the first question: You can do it by doing back up of the save. (Do a back up at the beginning of each Level) Answer of the second question: Yes, I can do it, but I must warn you all: if I do an update, your save will no longer work, because of some automatic process of Game Maker related to the script to save the game. If you are agree, I will create my own save game script, do the score table and do something to enable you to restart preview levels. But don't forget, I would like to know the score of the first attempt of everyone to know who is the best puzzler.

Windows game: If you are interested, I have created a puzzle game with many type of objects: -Rocks: pushable -Ice Blocks: pushable, but still move until it reach a wall -Keys and Doors: there are 4 colors -Switchs: open or close some doors -Switchs with a blue square: require an Ice Block for activate it -Timed Switch: open or close some doors for a short periode of times -Warps : teleport you to the corresponding number -Yellow Arrows: let's you run in the direction of the arrow until you reach a wall -Red Arrows: You can't go to the opposite direction -Green Arrows: let's you jump over objects -Green Blocks: breakable only if you run on it -Fog: make some objects invisible -Sight Limit (1 to 5 squares): you see at a certain limit like in Dragon Warrior 1 in caves There are 23 Levels The last one is very hard to complete Some puzzles can take hours to solve. The play time and the number of retries are displayed on the top of the window. The game save at every level and when you close the game. It's the only way I found to entertain you in this kind of game: If I never crash and follow the path at full speed, I will never be able to attack the others (except by the back), it would be borring to watch because we would see only the player following his way and be the 1st in the whole movie. I managed to crash to prevent that. About back attacks: did you know what was happening with the bananas I dropped at the beginning of the final lap in the second track of Lightning Cup (Sky Garden)? I don't know myself lol.

There is no way to avoid Axe Knight's attack at Level 7 and don't have enough Max HP to resist of minimum damages before he fall. Level 9 with the Bamboo Pole (Atk + 2) and the Clothes (Def + 2) are the minimum requirements to beat him (Plan managed in my preview version). About random encounter: I already managed to minimize the lost of frames to control this random, but it will require months of test. Don't forget the random to find the Metal Slimes lol. About the lost of times in a town: it's to prevent a character to be on my way (a control random).

World 3 is done, but there is a problem: FCEU do the same error like my fast as possible version: this time it desynchro at random at the end of level 2-3 or at the sun level or on the ship of world 3. I recorded again the ship, but the problem occur again at the same frame. I don't have any plan since the beginning, but I improvise by analyzing each level. In most levels, I find rather easily what could impress the watchers. I don't thing to use the whistles for now because it skip the most interresting worlds (it skip the world 4 or 7). I thing to do something cool in these worlds. For the frog suit, I will use one in a stage where I can bring something like a shell.
