Here are 2 exemples of what we can do: - - - - - - - - - - This is an exemple with all pressed buttons times: http://genisto.servehttp.com/exemple_in_castlevania_3(j).fmv Total pressed buttons times after stage 1: 78 - - - - - - - - - - And this, is an exemple with the fire pressed button times: http://genisto.servehttp.com/exemple_in_megaman4.fmv I have pressed 7 times on it in one stage (Boss included without any secondary weapons) - - - - - - - - - - Suggestion: (Things that are not permitted) - HP lost - Death - Autofired weapons (like Machinegun) These videos must be like a speedrun. Bisqwit: plz complete my exemples by including that display and continue leading with my idea. -- Sorry if there are somes errors in the text --

Bisqwit: can you display a press button counter on the screen?

(With the Nes controler displayed on the screen). A new type of competition: make a video with the less number of pressed fire button times as possible. Exemple of result: in Contra: the player will attempt to avoid the most of ennemies as possible without firing. Or just count the number of all pressed buttons times. Overall: that's will result of accurate videos. Notation: If people doesn't like viewing that display, just display the current number of pressed times.

Bisqwit wrote: Try accuracy at doors. In the latest SMB2 movies I have noticed that both you and Sleepz used to enter doors at the far end of the door. Yes I know that. I do my best in this. I always check the fastest way to enterring into each door by testing all frames. Notation: Fantasia skip 2/3 frames for the inputs = I can't use these frames to enterring door unless if someone know something that allow inputting all frames.

Michael Fried wrote: For the third egg, make sure you have autofire on when you jump so you jump as low as possible, and that way you'll fall down to the ball faster. If you already did that, then I can't think of any more possible ways to save time. Yes I have done it. My current version is 18 frames faster than my last full version!! (after level 1-1).

My self wrote: Plz give me comments, tips on current version Scuse me every body, I want to know if my present version is perfect or I have done some mistake. My self wrote: tell me if you prefer that I use the left and right trick or not in my full version. The reason is for showing some glitches. Example in Super Mario Bros 2: the character continues walking with the same speed while doing left right left right trick lol.

Maybe he's even planning on eventually beating every speed run on the site. + Bisqwit wrote: Maybe he speaks only French. I've only heard of him via Phil. Yes, I am French, but I know English just enough to read and write it. That's why I did not come to this forum before. But, I will do my best. My working list: (in my priority order)
Battletoads (with Phil) Super Spy Hunter (This game is more impressive than Spy Hunter) Super Mario Bros 2 version 3 (with any suggestions) Castlevania 1 (Received items and hearts from most of monsters Arkanoid (really hard to do with three balls)
Notation: thx to every body for any suggestions in Super Mario Bros 2
