The votes for Megaman 2, Chrono Trigger, and Aria of Sorrow are so close, we might need to run another poll of just the three, or just the two highest. What does everyone think? It'd be kind of weird if one of them won by only 1 or 2 votes.

On the contrary, I understood it immediately when I saw it. I think it's obvious enough. I didn't even see what you're suggesting until after you mentioned it. In fact, I think it takes a stretch of the imagination to see him bent over like that. The head looks like it's detached and he'd look really weird bent at an exact 90 degree angle like that. To me it's obviously just his arm, not half of his body.

I think CtrlAltDestroy has a really good point. I agree with him.

I added my Family Feud video as well as the Hagane video Tiger- and I co-authored. We might want to restrict who can join. Besides the issue of bots, we might end up with people outside of this forum tossing in lazy tool-assisted videos that are uninteresting or highly unoptimized.

Thanks so much. :D At this point I'd like to thank YouTube users guardiane and rickcressen for the videos that inspired me to do it, and Dispari Scuro for helping me come up with some of the entries. If I remember correctly, Dispari was responsible for the following answers: (Occupations beginning with B) Beaver and Duck Expert Zombie Party Attender (Signs no one seems to obey) Ogres Allowed Sparingly And maybe a few others I don't remember. She might have come up with "No Yodelling Allowed" as well. I don't remember. :p Anyway, those above three are hilarious and easily some of the best answers in the TAS so some credit must go to her. Thanks once again, everyone. :)

I think glitchy needs to stay the way it is. The funny one should be something new. I mentioned a couple of quick ideas. Does anyone have any others?

Ack! I voted for Crusader of Centy, when I meant to vote for Chrono Trigger. Can someone fix this for me, please?

This whole concept is baffling.

The idea of doing a run with two Maxes intrigued me but the end result left a few things to be desired. I have to give major props for those funny grab glitches. Those were great. My issues were this: 1. The glitch where both Maxes hit guys from both sides turbo fast is great, but you don't start using it until level 3 or so. It looks like you guys discovered the glitch half-way through the game but didn't start over even though that could have saved you time in the early game. Am I wrong? 2. The original 1p Max run was somewhat boring because of the lack of variety in moves, so two Maxes kind of compounds this, making it for the most part rather boring. 3. In a lot of places it seems slower than the 1p Max run. It looks very improvable. 4. It says in your submission that you acknowledge that it can be improved. For these reasons, I voted meh.

This is probably a bit late, but I'm wondering if maybe the Funny TAS trophy might be a little different. I mean, the artwork is very well done. I don't have any real issue. The only thing is: I really like the glitched trophy. It's a riot. In comparison, the "funny" trophy isn't really funny. It's just Mario wearing a frog suit. I can't help wondering if we can bounce some ideas for an alternate trophy. How about something like three Marios stuck in a pipe at the same time? Maybe cape Mario with his head buried in the ground?

I can't help thinking the fastest way to beat each level would be to manipulate all the enemies into a line and then drop a boulder on them all at once. Or better yet, do this to all but one enemy and then burst the other one while this is being set in motion.

Okay, I just voted against my own run for some reason. I don't know. I haven't played Chrono Trigger much and I didn't watch the whole run and what I did watch I didn't understand. Yet, I'm still impressed at how such a huge chunk of the game was skipped and I think it really is innovative. I wonder if I would have done so if I wasn't somewhat comfortably in the lead. :p Thanks to everyone who voted for me.

I'm abstaining from voting. I just really have no idea what's even going on in this game.

I totally agree with everything moozooh says. It pains me to vote no on a TAS that's so well made and entertaining, but I don't understand the goals at all. For those in the know of exactly what the underflow glitch is, maybe this is an important distinction, but it seems pretty odd to avoid it and still use other glitches that have the same basic function. For a while I really enjoyed how you zoomed through each level without glitching. Then you started glitching through walls like crazy and I kind of lost that feeling. I still enjoyed the glitches--Golden Sonic tearing through walls at super speeds was pretty cool. I just felt like it should have been like that the whole time or avoided altogether. This should either be a glitchfest, or glitchless. I'd be all in favour of a 100% run of either. I just don't see why it should have some zip glitches and not others.

Mission 2 is complete. http://www.heisanevilgenius.com/Heisanevilgenius%20-%20Double%20Dragon%20Stupidity.fm2 I noticed what you said about file sizes, and wow are you right. Here's a zip for those who'd prefer it. 0.5 megabytes compressed down to 4 kilobytes. Nutty. http://www.heisanevilgenius.com/Heisanevilgenius%20-%20Double%20Dragon%20Stupidity.zip

I lost one of my backups so I was afraid it would be difficult to reproduce the same effects, but it turned out pretty easily. I'm mostly done round two now. I'll post an update when I'm back up to where I left off.

We've determined that a jumping somersault is faster than a slide, so this is really weird.

There are numerous tumble attacks. Tumble + Y does a fiery stabbing motion which deals decent damage in a fast amount of time. It does 5 damage. Tumble + B does a jumping flaming kick which deals 6 damage to high or large enemies, but can miss smaller enemies on the ground. Tumble twice (blue flash) + Y does a flipping kick attack that deals 7 damage and deals damage in a small area of effect. Tumble twice + B does another flipping attack which only deals 2 damage at a time, but lasts longer and has a much larger attack radius. You can often damage an enemy twice with this attack for 4 damage. Tumble three times (yellow flash) + Y slams the sword into the ground creating a giant explosion which deals 4 damage to lots of enemies in a very large radius. Tumble three times + B does an upward flaming kick which deals 25 damage but in a very narrow space. Easily the most powerful move, but it requires absolute perfect timing and aim.
