SXL - Would you be willing to make subtitles for the runs then? Because if it was my run, I would not do it. :)

Can anyone upload an AVI of the WIP so far? I can't watch this run due to desync issues which I can't seem to solve.

I found this to be very entertaining. A clear yes-vote. Even though this has already been published it is well deserved of another vote in the right direction. :)

This brings me to a question I have: Do you think it would be beneficial to decompile the game to figure out some big question that I have? (ex: luck manipulation, random encounters, etc) And if so how would I go about doing that or trying to decipher the code. This is way beyond my league in terms of programming knowledge but to me seems important in this type of game.

Well... Has the translation been altered for a good while? Maby we can be allowed to redistribute the translation so there won't be any conflicts? I mean.. Put the translation on this server perhaps?

You should also make sure that you've got WIP-timing activated. That helped me in the first WIP. I will now check the second WIP.

You get a plus vote from my side if you get the porn magazine in the game! :D

I still think it would be optimal to allow a hacked translation of the hard type version.

Do I really need to express how great this run was? Awesome glitches abused and the rest is very well planned and executed. A big minus that April has a mullet in the ending scenes though, even though it's not your fault. He he. Cheers!

Dude... You should quit WoW at once and give us this TAS! :) Seriously, I can't seem to find the charm at all in WoW. Never really played it, and never intended to. And it doesn't attract me a single bit. Thats just me though. :D Get back to TAS:ing at once, Frenom!

I like that idea. And if they don't want to mix the tools up they could even create sub-menus called "Nitsujas Tools" or "Upthorns tools". Even though I would not prefer it that way, it would be awesome to have all alternatives baked into one binary. This goes for other emulators as well. For example, Bisqwit and DeHacked uses diffrent styles when outputting videos. Why not bake both versions into one binary so that people can choose the way they like? Very comfortable.

I still think you should use the Japanese version of the game if that is what we have to choose between. Hard type before easy type. SNES version before GBA version.

I have some problems with playing games in grrl. It loads the game fine, and I can playback movies without any problems at all. However I can't just simply play a game. I put the gens.cfg together with the binary, because it didn't find the cfg before that. Now that I launch gens I get some, which I don't think have anything to do with my problem. The game still loads fine.

I think you should use a hard type rom with english translation. Unless someone will subtitle the entire production afterwards? =D Good luck!

I've done it a lot of times on the real hardware. So I know it works.

Even though this is not an optimized run it is still faster than the one over at SDA, which lands at 5:15:xx. This is most likely due to the weapon charge glitch. I noticed a big miss though. In the underground palace (near frame 430000) you didn't take the shortcut. If you charge a weapon a slight bit you will make a jump move. When doing this jump move you can jump up ledges. So instead of walking around a long detour you can jump the ledge, push the button, and then walk towards the exit much sooner. ;) I really hope that you will continue to improve this run, even though it's tedious. Cheers!

I think you've got it in the wrong way. In Terminator 2, John is teaching some new words to the machine. I think it's more in style with "Chill out, dickwad". It's a nice one indeed. "I need your clothes, boots and your motorcycle!" or "Let's try mine!" is two nice quotes from T2 as well. "Why?" is a favorite too. It's about where John tells the terminator not to kill people. :D "He'll live." - And you can actually see how grumpy the terminator looks for not getting another count on the hi-score. Haha! "Of course; I'm a terminator." - Now. Who doesn't want to tell their friends that? =D "Trust me" - He smiles when he say he won't kill anyone. But he didn't tell them how much damage he inflicted on the surroundings. Haha! Evil grin indeed. Terminator 2 for the win.

It just hit me that it would be awesome to have something in the RAM-search where you can search for non negative values. For instance. I'm 100% sure that the value I'm looking for cannot be a negative value, such as -24. It would be very smooth to just remove all values that are of negative nature and I wouldn't have to get confused about it. Addresses that take negative values should be automatically removed if check box is ticked.

Does any one know how to control external components via a computer? Let's say we have this issue: I have a cellphone with bluetooth, and when I park the car I can have my computer sense my cellphone is present nearby. How can I for example have my computer switch on the lights in my flat when it recognizes my cellphone near by?
