It's better if someone merges the two threads. Edit: Ah! Look at that. Merged and ready. Let's keep on talking then. :D

I encoded the two glitches to AVI for all you lazy people. ;) http://133an.sytes.net/~highness/tas/MK2-Very_Nice_Barraka_Fatality_Glitch.avi http://133an.sytes.net/~highness/tas/MK2-Very_Nice_Sub-Zero_Fatality_Glitch.avi Dark Fulgore - DAMN NICE GLITCHES! :D Edit: When I think about it, these two glitches are probably the most wicked ones I have ever seen. Damn impressive. Don't break games like that. HAHAHA! I should probably e-mail the programmers of the game to see this. I'm just sitting here with a smile on my face. Totaly unbeleivable. BRING US MORE!

Whats the highest ultimate one can make in this game? You should also use the code that makes the fighters use hyper speed! And why are we not using the other killer instinct thread?

Wasn't those desync issues fixed with Volume Envelope Height Reading?

Because some people doesn't want to watch the avi's and mpeg's. :D And in the end, if you are submitting a TAS, you have to submit the emulator keypress (movie) file.

A rewind function could be nice really. It would be nice to have it during playing a movie, and perhaps while creating a movie as well. Fast forward function. Tip in the frame you want to go to. Then the emulator frame skips like crazed and then pauses the emulator and switches to no frame skip.

How about outputting the material to some sort of video format directly then? If the program can rerecord to an avi or something and then change the speed in the avi so it looks real-time? Perhaps this is generally a bad idea. But I'm hungover so I don't feel too bright right now. :D Allthough this would probably be against the rules since we can't check the button-presses.

I think those kind of videos are awesome. To see someone totaly burst around, close, or even inside enemies, are just mindblowing! :D Such as in the Gradius movie, where Morimoto avoids most, if not all, the slugs from the volcanos. It shows perfect reflexes which is highly entertaining. I'd love to see more videos like this, so GO FOR IT! :D

It's probably more a Tool-Assisted Playaround.

133an seems to be working fine. No further reported errors. Only a couple of days ago when a friend of mine totaly wasted all it's space which had the box do unwanted things for a while.

I don't quite remember as it's been MANY years since I last played this game. But I don't recall this game to be linear at all places. So you will need to find the best rout. Also I think this run should go more for the astethic point of it, and not for speed. I recall this as being an autoscroller. It won't make sense to make it 100% kill either, unless thats superhard. You could perhaps grab the Gradius run as a referrence to what I mean. Alot of things could be cool to see. Good luck!

If you want to get into TAS:ing I won't suggest you make a long game for your first run, until you get the hang of it. Do Section Z for NES instead. ;)

Um, I downloaded all the ones on this site and the one I am watching right now all the guy has been doing for 15 minutes is just dick around in the Ceres Station. Is there a purpose for this or is it not playing right.
This is what we call a desync. You should read the FAQ or something. Otherwise you could try to tick some of the options avalible. Like WIP-timing and stuff like that. Edit: It could also desync from the fact that you need to load a savestate as well, since it's not always intended to play from start. ;)
