It might not be the most popular emu out there. But I still think it would be awesome if you provided us with the tools. There are always some good bits and pieces in games. :)

Oooh.. a "REVER" on a 1 year old topic ;P How is this run going Highness?
I only made a short test on this Frenom, to see if it was possible. This game suffers alot from desyncs. So beware! It doesn't care about frame perfection while walking the world map in the matter of enemy encounters. I haven't really calculated on the span of frames which this occurs on. So it will be a good surprise for you. ;) I have no plans right now to take on this game as I have to little knowledge about it generally. I used to play this game alot, but I'm not hardcore.

I can't remember if I asked before, but is it power to do a crystal flash to save you even if you have lesser than 3 energy tanks?

I second this. It would be awesome to see snes9x under wine. Right now I can't even load roms in it. Anyone had any better luck?

Shakespeare - Sure MK3 and all games after that has a combo system. But it's funnier to do a 100% damage combo in MK2 since it should really be impossible. :) Edit: I encoded those smaller glitch videos found above for lazy people. http://133an.sytes.net/~highness/mk2/MK2_-_baraka_glitch_fatality.avi http://133an.sytes.net/~highness/mk2/MK2_-_this_is_funny_too.avi http://133an.sytes.net/~highness/mk2/MK2_-_Two_things_at_once.avi

Nice run. Another yes-vote, allthough it's allready accepted. :D This run desynched for me at level 5. Right after you get out of the cable car. I have tried many diffrent roms to be sure. Any ideas on how to fix this?

This is actually a good question. It's all about manipulation. I coulden't get the plant to bounce me in the right direction unless I hit it first. It's faster to take damage than to wait for those shoots to pass by. I could walk right into the plant and take damage the first time. But it would be slower since I found no way to bounce in the right direction. Hope that helps as an answer. If I could understand ram addresses better to read whats going on, I could manipulate it in a better manner.

I will have to give this game a NO I'm affraid. :( I know the ammount of time you've put down into this. But the truth is the game is just horrible, and not in a good way, like Dark Castle for example. Also there are very many flaws it seems. Very many optimal jumps, also the cloud throwing is not optimal, damage giving and taking doesn't seem optimal. Movement doesn't seem optimal as you run into many things instead of turn around earlier, standing closer to danger. You avoid enemies that doesn't need to be avoided it seems. Boss fights were just plain boring also. I know it's not easy to keep them funny all the time. But this is the game's fault, not yours really I think. I think you probably could crunch atleast a minute if you really try. Good luck on your next mission. Hope I didn't kick your feets away by this. Hardly no one's first run get's published right? Atleast mine didn't. :D

OgreSlayeR - It works perfectly with Snes9x V7 for linux if you check wip timing. Awesome demonstration you made. Funny thing to notice is the graphical glitch when you do the acid spit. Reptiles face get's stuck in mid air. :D If you are planning a full run of this game. Do not forget to choose Shang Tsung! Also I would prefere if you hold L+R through the entire intro text to see Shao Kahn and Kintaro totaly smash the Aklaim logo! Nice feature that just adds a little more to the entertainment. Actually I didn't know that this was possible on the 1.0 rom, so I just tested to verify it! ;) I suppose that this run will not be for speed anyways so. Go only for entertainment as much as possible. To show as much combos, glitches and combined fatalities etc. Also try to play against all the hidden characters in a row! That will add some more challange to this game. Don't forget to run on Very hard mode.

antd - Great to see it didn't desync. Allthough that demo match wasn't the best I've seen. :D But I do know that the point with this video was anyways. So don't absorbe the critique ;)
