Can someone compile this for us with unsufficent knowledge about programming and compiling please? If used in a run you could state that in the submission info so that people might download the patched version and enjoy the run.

Alright people! Nitsuja has made it possible to record MK2 without desync. I made a little test which is just for that purpose. So there are some major goofs. But it shows some techniques and fatalities. The game is set to very hard of course. :) The SMV can be downloaded here: http://highness.no-ip.com/Mortal_Kombat_II_(V1.1)_(U).zip Note that you need to turn off the audio setting: "Volume envelope height reading" in Snes9x in order to be able to watch and/or record a movie of this game. To bad it has some major inpacts on the sound. Anyways. Let's break this game down and talk about fastest ways etc. I think everybody agrees when I say Shang Tsung is the only character to play, right? Since he can morph into all characters except Shao Kahn, Smoke, Noob Saibot and Jade. There will be alot of variation with this character.

Would be awesome to have a feature like Zsnes where you can pre-define what key combinations that you want to type. Since keyboards can't have to many keys pressed at the same time this would be a great feature. Especially in Mortal Kombat 2 where one of the fatalities require you to press 4 keys at the same time. Those being down, A, B, and Y (with default config in-game). I don't feel that re-mapping my entire keyboard is an alternative really. So if someone could take a look at Zsnes and make a similar tool for Snes9x it would be awesome.

Good movie indeed. The only thing I can think of is the following: Woulden't it be faster to just wait for the spider in order to do that super stomp thing on him instead of shooting at him which makes him stop for a while? Anyways. This is a YES-vote from me.

I was thinking of taking this path (it differs slightly from TSA's because I don't need the hookshot in the Ice Cave):
Won't the hookshot be a time saver since it alows you to travel over gaps etc? Also you can use it if you don't wanna take damage from those fires that are cycling around some places. Anyways. It will be interesting to see how you work it out. :)

I can't seem to load the bisqwit-rockmanv6-incomplete-with-gutsman-demo.fcm in my FCE Ultra. The Rockman.fcm worked fine though. Really amazing glitch you've got there. :)

I don't have many NES games. But I also have a SNES and a Genesis (Mega Drive). So it adds up a bit. I don't have an actual number right now as I'm too tired. I think it moves towards 100 games in total.

Hmm... How come no one has done Legend of Toki: Going Ape Spit Aka. JuJu Densetsu? It's a damn good game and VERY hard.

Finally this is done. I will just add here the final improvements. I'm a bit unhappy to see that I actually played this last part good in version V1. I was only able to shave 0.71 seconds from the old record. I thought it would be more. I really did put alot of effort in this. Took me over one hour to finish those last seconds of this game. It should be really stylish though. Hope you all like it. On to submission. Cheers!

Damn annoying boss. Anyways. I cut the time down by 1.55 seconds. I hoped for more but it wasn't possible it seems. 23,35 seconds faster so far.

Level 7 done. Up to the boss now. He's a bit tricky as I have to manipulate him to go down in order for me to be able to shoot at him. Level 7 was kind of a pain in the ass. I actually found a place where the crystal ball weapon came in handy where it was slower to take damage. Good huh? =) So now you get to see one weapon more in this beutiful run. Hehe. Hmm... Nothing else in this level that I can think of that means anything when it comes to watching, besides another 2.65 seconds shaved. :) Now 21.8 seconds faster than current version. I think I won't see a sub 6min run yet though. From where I am right now it took about 40 seconds to kill the last boss. I only have 20 seconds to do that in. And I think it's rather impossible right now. But I will get near.
