I see what's going on. The first throw only LOOKS like it has enough distance because it managed to put the blob inside the cage. It could have been a few pixels off from missing the cage entirely, but it managed to put the blob in the cage. Another toss wouldn't make it. It has to be high enough to reach the blob's tongue, and it would miss that by a slim margin. If someone could find a way to give the boy more distance, then it could be possible. That, or make the boy magically appear inside the evil king's room along with the blob.

That's a very interesting glitch... I've seen one pretty close to it, but I heard that it was an emulator-only glitch, like the emulator handles overflow conditions differently. Anyway, it requires the Spaz-Plas glitch (equip both Spazar and Plasma at the same time, but unequip Wave or it'll cause instant crash. Look it up on GameFAQs, I guess). Once you have that, then go to the ship and go to the door on your left, the first door on Brinstar you have to open. Open the door, then charge the beam, look to your right, and fire. The game should be all wierd and laggy, but Samus should still be able to move. Once you enter the door, then it should look like Zebes is blowing up. Exit through the same door, go to the ship, and get into it, and it'll do the whole ending thing. Strange, but it's worked for me on ZSNES. Can someone figure it out?

Interesting movie so far. I can see a few places in the Special Stages that you can improve. For example, when you go for the first emerald, you take a longer route around a set of bumpers you could easily jump over. It's possible to jump two objects in a special stage at once. Also, the second special stage, there are the 3*4 sets of blue spheres. There's an area with two of those in a row. Instead of making 2 turns to get the sphere set, you should move forward past the 4 for the first row and grab the 4 for the second set before turning around. Don't understand? Here's a pic. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/Blackbelt/SSthingy.bmp Edit: *smacks face* ...That last arrow. Move it up a row. Anyway, now that I'm done watching the movie, I see possible fixes in the Special Stages. Mainly turning a little too late or something like that, but there could possibly be a few things like jumping in the right places. Timing some jumps right, you could probably get Sonic to successfully wade through an entire sea of red spheres unscathed, but that's just a possibiltiy. Might as well try it, right :)

Good luck on your run. If I knew anything else, then I'd be able to help you some. I'll try to find anything you can improve, though. You might be able to do something... You can get the Ether Medallion early by Voidwalking in the castle dungeon and finding the first boss early. He dies and drops the medallion instead of the heart container (or doesn't drop the heart container and drops the medallion instead of the pendant). Going back to the same room later lets you pick up what you missed. It'll just be sitting there for you.

I'm getting a problem with this video on my comp. It desynchronizes in the middle of the Crystal Snail stage for some reason. If someone could help me, then that would be great. Other than that, this movie is excellent. Good job.
