Or if you were after perfection, then why are so many mistakes and things that cost time in this movie? You have slowdown and rerecord.. use it. If you want perfection, I think you have used about 10000 rerecords too less.
Is it a pre-requisite to have the re-records numbered in the ten-thousands? I know this game well. There's no point in having a gazillion re-records for a game one knows well.
There is no room here for your halfhearted attempt.
All I've seen you do is talk. Why don't you put your money where your mouth is and make an attempt yourself, if you're so damn good!

5 controllers? Could it be related to the controller-setup in the input menu?

Every forum must have a troll, I suppose. Funny how those two things (forum + trolls emerging) always seem to go hand in hand.

Snapshots, re-recordings and all that. No problem what-so-ever. Snes9x hasn't complained about that which you describe. At least not for me.

Ouch! You play with keyboard?! How on earth does that work out for you?

The problem is, I can't find the U.S Rom. I've only got the European one. And yes, I have tried google. No luck there.

Invoker, I did a bit of searching on the web. I read one site which suggested a very fast way to get the hadoken. I have not had a chance to test it though. Start the stage, then use the exit thingy to leave. Come back and leave again, do it 5 times or so. Then procede to the end and get the item, no time wasted dying :)
I'll give it a shot later this day. I'm currently busy with other things of higher priority.

Invoker: I didn't watch your movie, but I read the TXT file. I can beat your time without rerecords.
Yeah, well, the first and second movies weren't all that good but I'm getting there. Also, if you are quite skilled on this game, why don't you give it a shot?
Also, Death Rogumer is the name of the Irregular Hunters' airship and is where you fight Storm Eagleed. It crashes into Spark Mandriller's level, knocking out the power, but the miniboss of Spark Mandriller's level is Thunder Slimer.
I stand corrected.

Hey again everyone. I spent the last 3 days working on a minimalist run. Invoker, you should look at my Chill Pengiun and Prologue stages, because neither of these stages have upgrades. (Well, expect the 2nd half of Penguin, anyway) My time from Capcom Screen to Final Shot was 34:30. Here's my run. http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~wcsange/Wodball%20MMX%20Minimal%201.smv If you guys approve, I will submit this as Version 1 to Bisqwit. --Woody EDIT: I made a lot of mistakes here, and I have a few questions. 1. Is it worth it to chop off Launch Octopus' arms with Boomer Cutter during Sigma? 2. Which is faster going up walls, normal kick jump, or dash kick jump? I could really tell... EDIT 2: It's Megaman X V 1.1
Just watched your run. Impressive. I know there aren't any upgrades on Prologue stage (Highway) and the first half of Chill Penguin. 1. It could be. If it means he'll stop shooting those piranhas it would make the battle much easier. If not, then does it really matter? 2. I'd say it depends. But normally, Dash Kick Jump is a bit faster.

It's Shinespark ;) and it's very odd that it would be causing these graphical errors. Is it always when you go left or does it disappear after a while?

> I also noticed that only some movies sorted by genre, so you should put all the movies in a particular genre. I don't understand what you mean. Sorting movies by genre. RPG in RPG section. Action in Action section and so on and so forth. I don't really see how Michael's message conveys the idea of your translation.
That's at least what I figured he was trying to say, y'know? Sorting each game/movie by genre into respective subcategory. S/nes / Action / blah blah blah... and so on. I never claimed it was correct, though ;)

Sorting movies by genre. RPG in RPG section. Action in Action section and so on and so forth. It would take hell of a lot time in doing so. It can be done, just it would take lots of time in sorting all the movies into their respective category.

The Hadoken-attack? That would slow me down, considerably while trying to get it. In my opinion, getting it would be a 101%. Also, I think it's lame ;)

There already exist a movie for Zelda: A link to the past. I found it on SDA via Arc's site. [Edit] It's by none other than TSA. 1:51:17 is total time. Impressive!

It's not XP bothering me so much as the previous windows versions. I still remember Win95 *shudders*

Didn't I tell you? Windows's a bitch. ;) Oddly enough, a strange thing happened to me this day. Yesterday I could re-size, re-arrange the Snes9x window at the best of my leisure. Today, however, it simply won't cooperate with me. True, it still works. Though only in fullscreen mode. Anyone know how to fix this or have experienced similar problems?

To me it's the same blue dude with the arm cannon running around blasting other robots into chunky kibbles ;) Also, I made a new attempt on MMX. It's a bit faster than my previous one. I know what I did wrong and how I can improve it, so nyah! ;p (although, more pointers on what parts I might optimize are accepted. ;)) http://hem.thalamus.nu/~gvp018361/MMX1.Invoker.100-percent.rar There it be.

I've seen Ikaruga being beaten. Never had a chance to try it myself. But it is beatable. Blaster Master, saw a friend beat that. Kid Icarus, I've beaten it myself hundreds of times. It's easy. To me, it looks like whoever wrote the article didn't have time nor the wont for completing the games listed.
