If you REALLY want to make an unassisted run, your best chance would to just submit a run to SDA, even though it'll be hard to get certain games you want to run.

I know. Only my first line was addressing your issue, the rest was unrelated.
Oh I see what you mean.

I think DeHackEd's site is incompatible with ZMV's.

In my opinion, playing on a console is easier than playing in full speed on an emulator. For example, on Mega Man X & X3, I can at least reach Sigma's stage on the console, but I can't on the emulator.
Might be a controller issue. In fact, playing at a higher speed does improve your reflexes, at least temporarily — until your brain has re-accomodated to the normal (slower) speed, you will have a benefit of having your reflex basically overclocked for a few hours. However, it also may throw off your timing if you are relying on it more than on pure reflex in your runs (which may be especially obstructive in memorization-heavy games). Playing game at a slower speed almost always hurts your ability, though.
I actually meant 100% speed on the emulator(normal speed)

This school year, I wrote a personal narrative about my first experiences with the SNES. I remember that I got a A too. If I can, I will post it here.

I was not aware of such a game existing, can anyone post a link to information about it?

It is IMPOSSIBLE to find one, as the only remaining cart isn't going to be sold any time soon.

Almost all games are hard enough even at 100% speed.

Did you say this just because they're bad games? Bad games make entertaining TASes. Just see the Revenge of the Sinister Six TAS.

This is a weird game. First you have to kill some naked pink-haired kids, and if that's not bad enough, then you have to kill some cute puppies. Then there's the weird anime chick with a flag who appears at odd places. Then there are some cylindrical heads with sunglasses and pink machoke-lookalikes...
Don't forget that you also have to pepper-spray a ghost...

For the record, there was a Lolo (I think; or at least it was something very similar) game for NES whose point was to reunite two characters by guiding both of them at once through asymmetrical labyrinth in every level.
I think that's that really-often-pirated Famicom game called Binary Land.

I actually saw a glitch on Youtube that skipped all the challenges. However, you are right that this will probably be a boring TAS, even though I think VirtuaNES had the microphone option. I regret making this topic. :(

I saw the Wikipedia article of this game and though this might make a good TAS, since it is supposed to be the hardest NES/Famicom game ever made. I might start working on this sometime. The only problem is that FCE Ultra's top menu messes up on me when I try to play ANY game.

Woah! You beat the game in a really awesome manner. Yes vote. EDIT:But however, I do agree that the points that other people pointed out apply, so I'm leaning to meh.

They're DOS versions of Mega Man and Mega Man III, both in which Hi Tech Expressions really ruined the game. (They got Capcom's license) EDIT:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mega_Man_%28DOS%29 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mega_Man_III_%28DOS%29

Well, Jason/Billy are better for a TAS in my opinion, but Kimberly is the best for a console run.

Woah! This run was really fast-paced and had many interesting techniques in it. Yes vote when I can.

SDA doesn't accept shoot-em-up runs since most shmups are auto-scrolling and the only way you can affect the speed are the bosses.(someone asked on the SDA forums if they could run R-Type III just yesterday)Try http://super-play.co.uk/. You should try to beat easy or hard in 1 life and submit that there..

Just wanted to say that your WIP's are awesome and they've helped my console run of the game a ton so far.
