Interesting that I'm anticipating two runs of the same game by the same author. How goes the any%?

I'm of the opinion that N64 TASs generally aren't more beautiful, because they are too busy running at low framerates.

I changed my SMB3 from "no flutes" to "warpless" for this same consistency.

The hop glitch and 6/5 take much more rerecording than flying, also. Edit: The best comparison SMW run I've done is the 11-exit run, since I was using memory-watch at the time, and I had 26314 rerecords for 37917 frames, which is around 40 rerecords per second of play.

Interesting discovery, but a pre-programmed level-skip like that generally isn't allowed in a submission. Unfortunately the levels that remain to be played are almost like autoscrollers and pretty much identical to each other. Perhaps this game would offer more of an entertaining run if the levels weren't skipped, but I'm not sure.

I have no idea what's going on in this movie. I only watched the first three levels. I'm not voting. Fourth sentence.

It accomplishes the exact opposite.

Gannon-banning is probably the single fucking stupidest thing I've ever read on the internet. It looks like TSA made it, so I'm not too surprised.

Yeah I'm not sure why the bottle adventure run would need to be seperate from the current any% run. Are you saying it would be classified as a "glitchy warps" kind of run, similar to most of the other zelda runs? I could write more on my opinion of this, but I'm not educated enough about what the bottle adventure specifically is to speak intelligently.

it would be possibel to make a faster TAS of SMB3 on SNES then the one on NES. With the left+right glitch, you're move directelly at full speed to the right.
It still ended up being a few seconds slower, and also was canceled since it was so similar to the existing movie. http://tasvideos.org/891S.html

Awesome, someone voted no on my already-canceled self-obsoleted submission, the obsoletion of which has already been published! Rock on, dude.

Whenever you jump, Bart's velocity resets. However a few places you continually jump while facing the wrong way, and it does not reset the velocity. I think this could be abused a lot more to make the run faster and smoother. Other parts didn't look optimized, but I'm not sure if they were or not. Sideshow Bob fight, for example.

No judge started that idea. Anubis suggested it, and everyone else has spoken out against it. I don't even know why it was given a second thought.

I use 1024x768 resolution and that pic doesn't stretch out the forum at all for me. If they had Zurreco's Fresh Eggs you'd be posting it just as much :P

Sorry for the confusion. My comment of having 4 Battletoads movies (which is only 3, I didn't realize that the 2P warpless obsoleted the 2P warps) etc. was that there's no need to replace RR1 with this game. It wasn't to say that this should be published or not. I haven't voted or even watched the run.

SMAS SMB2 lacks the up+down ladder trick.
