This is a damned good run. However. . .the title screen destroyed this run. I'm sorry. My Vote: No. Reasons: He was extremely slow in the menus, and he left the title screen go for fifteen seconds. This is a bad thing to do. Otherwise it's a top-notch no-hit run. Advice: Forget the damned title screen music, man. And use slow-motion in the menus, perhaps.

Ooh. Neo-Shinobi. I need to play this game at some point. Round 1 • No real comments here. Decent destroying of the boss, though. Maybe use the Jitsu on him when he's near death. . . Round 2 • I think I see why he was bouncing off the enemies. To make sure they didn't shoot him, and to give himself a slight moment of invincibility. • Jumping off the side might've saved you some time, instead of jumping down, as previously stated. Round 3 • No real comments for Round 3. • Clever. . . Knocking her off the platform like that. . . Round 4 • You took an unnecessary hit off of one of those crouching gunmen, I notice. One bounced you into another one's head. • Did the wind Jitsu even help against the Fire Wheel? Round 5 • Room 4: Damn, that's a lot of red ninjas. • There has got to be a way to speed this last battle up. . . Bonus Rounds • You shoot too damned many Shurikens. Also, does it knock you out of the Bonus Stage if a ninja hits you? Might save you some serious time. . . My Vote: Meh. Reasons: It's a good speed run. Only a few mistakes were made. However, the game seems a tad repeatitive. . . Advice: Jump-kick more, maybe? I dunno.

Hm. . . The Super Shinobi(USA version, obviously) played not quite as quickly as possible. It's also not being played on the hardest difficulty available. Technically, playing with 0 Shurikens and on Difficult(Expert?) is the hardest you can get. This works immensely better in The Super Shinobi II, but can be done here, as well. Anyway. . .let's go over some stuff, shall we? Round 1 • There was some lost time in jumping, cracking open crates, and killing things when it wasn't necessary. • You could've taken out the boss faster. Round 2 • More slow jumps and movements. Not impressive. • Why did you use one of the slowest Jitsus available? Does it do all that much more damage than say. . .the self-explosion one? Technically speaking, blowing yourself up doesn't disqualify the "Takes No Damage" clause. . . Round 3 • Nice deflection of bullets and whatnot in the fenced area. Also good use of those brick walls. • Ya know, though. . . If you're going to keep your Shurikens up to a good number, you should use them more, instead of taking the time to stand there and slash away and people. • The Round 3 boss could have been done way faster if you'd just used your Sword more often and been less picky about the hits. . . Round 4 • Nice use of Shurikens in the Junkyard area. Though, I still saw some slowdown on your part in some areas. • Beautiful use of Fushin Jitsu in the Scrap Factory area! • Nice way to bust up that T-600, too.(Don't argue with me. That is a Terminator Series 600 in the Japanese and early releases, and even continues to look like one in Release 3, here.) Round 5 • Again, beautiful use of Fushin Jitsu on the High Rise area, even though you took about a second to get it going. • Man, you slowed down right before the exit on the Freeway area. What's up with that? • Destroying the Missile Carrier could've been done at least a couple of seconds quicker than you did it. . . I'm not impressed. Round 6 • I'm surprised they kept the kung-fu girls in in China Town. Nice use of Ikazuchi Jitsu. • Good job on disposing of Spider-Man and, I guess, Man-Bat.(Supposed to be Batman, but it doesn't really look much like him. Even in the early releases.) Round 7 • You do know that you can do the Spread Shuriken attack even if you have only one Shuriken, right? That could've saved you some time in the Harbor. • Pretty decent taking-care-of of Godzilla. The Jitsu may have slowed you down a little, though. Round 8 • Pretty nice work on the Neo-Zeed Maze. • Eh. . . Moderate work on destroying Neo-Zeed himself. My Vote: No. Reasons: I was gonna vote "Meh" orignally, but a lot of things in this game could've been done faster, I notice. Boss fights, the levels, etc. Plus, for a truly interesting movie, I think someone may want to make a "Hardest Difficulty, No Shurikens" run at this, or its sequel. But that's just me. Advice: Practice, practice, practice!

I think it's alright for a "uses secrets" run. But I think he(or someone else) should do a "no secrets" run of the full game, too. Like with Super Mario Bros. USA.(Or any of the Super Mario Bros. games, in fact.)

• Any and all magic attacks were tried at least 12 different ways to see how I could get optimum damage. The problem with the energy balls is that for all three to hit, they have to pass through the enemy/boss at a certain arc that can only be done in certain areas. That is why when I cast the energy ball spell, I tend to only hit with 2 of 3 balls. It happens.
Fair enough.
• All hits, aside from the waterfall area, were taken to either make me invincible or were because it was faster than stopping to attack/dodge something. In the waterfall area, I was basically trapped in a chokepoint that was unavoidable. I still took the hits fairly well, but I feel that that is the ugliest part of my whole movie.
It is. Heh. But at least you're not trying to make excuses or anything. Invalid ones, anyway. :x
• The energy ball spell NEVER works on the goat/saytr knights. Their shields will block the spell 100% of the time. I simply opted for the firestream since any combo of slashes put him into a defensive frenzy.
I didn't know that. What about the Phoenix Dive? Or any of the other spells?
• All missed slashes in the movie were either for entertainment or to manipulate the game. In the saytr fight, I had to keep him from hiding in the corner the whole fight. I also had to opt for a whole new method of attack when he started trying to use his terrain against me.
Hm. Some worked, some didn't. Some looked like you were trying to hit and missed. But there are those where it's easy to tell you were screwing around, of course.(Slashing frenzies while waiting for the auto-scroll to catch up with you, for example.)
• The whole Jealousy fight is a bit skewed in Death Heim. After a certain amount of damage, the spirit of Jealousy stops taking damage until the minions are sufficiently 'stfu'ed. I had to dispose of them before the boss would take damage again.
Hm. How odd. That explains it, though. Thanks.
• No, the Clock attack is unavoidable. It took around 50 rerecords attempting to manipulate the first attack, but to no avail. My only hope was to find a nice spot where I wouldnt get hit while I waited for the timer.
That bites. . .

Mm. . . Watching this movie, I made the following observations: • Stage 1 seemed to be run flawlessly. • In Stage 2, wasn't there some way to break through that second brick wall? Also in Stage 2, a little more than halfway through the stage, you bump into a barracade, slowing you down. This costs you roughly. . .I'd say. . .a quarter of a second? Maybe half? • In the second Bonus Game, is there some way to lose the puck faster than you did? • Stage 3 seemed flawless, too. • Stage 4, you missed a couple coins(as noted) and jumped a little too early when trying to get the Diamond card suit. • More video game logic for ya. . . Black Jack's ice-ski(snow mobile?) crashed into the spike pit. . .at the near side. . .and doesn't get pushed off the spikes by the giant block of ice. • The more I think about it, the more this game reminds me of SegaSonic the Hedgehog.(The arcade game.) Minus the trackball and bosses, of course. • You took two hits on Level 5! One going through the fallen gate and another being licked by the Ghost. I have to admit, though. The one through the gate looked completely and utterly unavoidable to me. Unless the gate raises up if you wait long enough. . . • As you said, you got the worst ending, so. . . Dunno what to say there. • Crap. There's a Hard Mode? This is an incomplete run. o_o; Still a good run, though. Too bad Hard Mode is only unlocked by beating the game once. My Vote: No.(Changed from Yes. See below.) Old Reasons for Yes Vote: Though there were a couple mistakes here and there, as well as the fact he got the bad ending, this is a worthy speed run to me. New Reasons for No Vote: There were more mistakes in this run than I thought! Lots more. This is far from being the fastest this game can be beaten, not to mention with the Bad Ending, you only see half the game.(Even though the other half is just the same, but harder.) Advice: See above and below. Edit: His name is "Kid Klown," not "Kid Klutz". The king was just ticked off in the Bad Ending. Second Edit: Having played through the game on Hard Mode, I have more critiques for you. And I really wish I hadn't voted "Yes" quite as hastily as I did. . . I wish I could change my vote, damn it. >_<; • Remember that gate in Level 5 that is closed and you have to squeeze through? Jamming on the buttons(Y, X, B, A, L, and/or R by default) will make Kid squeeze through much faster than if he did on his own. Hit all the buttons as fast as you can! This also works when he's getting up, or if he's blown up, squished, or otherwise hurt or distracted, too. • This is only half the game, considering if you finish the game the first time, you enable Hard Mode, which is basically the same game, but harder. Oh, and you get to view the actual credits if you beat Hard Mode. • Also, you can completely forego Bonus Rounds if you don't collect more than 10 coins in a Level. Did you know that?

Argh. Seriously desynch problem using SNES9X v1.43.(Not the WIP version. Just 1.43.) It doesn't even go into Modero or anything. It floated near it, but never went in. Just kind'a sits there for a while, then the Sky Palace moves a bit, blah blah blah. Anyway! It works perfectly with the WIP version, of course. Now then, let's get into things: Actraiser 2 is, of course, the sequel to the action/simulation game Actraiser. A2 is missing the Simulation scenes from the original, decidedly sticking with the Action scenes instead. One would think this would make for much faster and more exciting gameplay, but oddly enough, it does not. Though the Master has much more moves in this version than he did in the original(and a new form, apparently), this game plays much more slowly than the original by far, thus becoming rather tedious and boring after a while. However, Zurreco tries to keep it as interesting as he can. Modero • You took a hit from one of those critters on purpose, I notice. I didn't really see any other way around it, either. • Nice job on dispatching the first Giant Bird boss. Equally nice in making the game scroll back to the Left after you jumped in that hole. XD • Hah, the hero looks like he's having a seizure. • Are those spikes in the second part of Modero just there for decoration, or what? Sheesh. • Nice job in quickly destroying the Hunger.(I guess that's what it's called.) Demon's Cave • Very nice navigation skills in those ant tunnels. • Exceedingly efficient way to take care of Gluttony! Industen • I'm not sure if it's possible, but if it is, you could have easily hit the Vile Weed boss with that third fireball. • Very quick work in tiring out Fatigue. Hah, bad joke. :x • Anyone else notice Fatigue's cloud came back after the level was over? Benefic • It looked like you got a little hung-up on that underhanging slab of rock after you let yourself get nailed by that bat, there. . . • Very nice job on destroying the Death Adder. • Did you purposely take one of those hits while crawling up-stream? There was one hit that didn't quite look like it was done on purpose, to me. . . • Also, nice job of destroying the Giant Snail. Tortoise Island • It never fails that whenever I see all those stoned people(turned to stone, not drugged-up, duh), I can't help but feel a little bad. • Nothing like squishing a little demon-squid for fun, eh? Nice job in quickly dispatching it. Altheria • Ya know, it just dawned on me. How can your fly while underwater? *is suddenly reminded of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Miles "Tails" Prower. :x* • Nice disposal of the Flame of Jealousy. • Did anyone else notice the hero's spirit hung out under the score once the level was over this time? Death Field • God, I hated this level. Playing it, I mean. Watching you blaze through it, though, was fun! • That first bit of fire? I think you could've jumped over that a little better, perhaps. • "Hey. . . Didn't we kick this guy's ass in Actraiser? Ah well, I guess we'll kick it again! In record time, of course." • You missed one of your Magic Balls of Doom on your first spell against the King of Justania, but his death pose was pretty nifty. Almetha • Nice heat-lightning-dodging there! Jumping off-screen to avoid it works like a charm. • Geezus. Which one of you is "Fury" again? Heh. Nicely done. Lovaous Palace • Out of the frying pan, and into. . .the freezer? Qué? • Huh! Learn something new every day. . . I had no idea you could crack those mechanical crab's claws. • Meh. I think you might've been better off using the Magic Energy Balls instead of the Firestream spell against the Demon Saytr Knight(?). • I'm not sure if there was actually much you could've done to speed up the battle against the Frozen Queen. Lovaous Palace(King's Mind) • You got hit fighting the Dark Spirit boss. And it didn't look like it was done on purpose. But that's just my outlook. • Whoa. . . Mode 7 at its best. Neat crap! • Nice defeating of Deception! You took a hit, but this time, it looked like it was planned. Gratis • Nice Ice Spirit defense! • As with the other Demon Satyr, I think this one could've been damaged more by the Magic Energy Balls than the Firestream, but again, that's just me. • Heh, excellent way to put the King of the Goblins in his place. Stormrook • Man, they must've run out of bosses if there's another Death Adder here in Stormrook Castle. . . • Yep. Ran out of bosses. Another Demon Satyr! Geezus. Glad to see you didn't waste time or magic on this one, though. • You missed one of your Magic Energy Balls while fighting Doom, but somehow, I don't think that it really matters too much. You also took a hit that seemed unnecessary to me. • Damn, but that was an excessively long level. Tower of Souls • In the Sub-Boss Battles, your fight with the Flying Centaur could've gone a bit faster, I'd think. . . • Hm. And you missed a couple of attacks and took a hit taking down the Demon Satyr. Bad form. • Interesting tactics on the Mechanical Entity boss. Death Heim • So many fallen angels. . . • Mm. Projectiles. • I'm not quite following why you nuked the mini-Jealousy heads before going after the flame itself, here. . . But whatever. • Looks like you took an unnecessary hit against Gluttony, to me. . . If this were a Zelda game, you'd stop shooting Sword Projectiles, now. Heh. • It's amazing how often using the same tactic twice works, as seen fighting Fury the second time. • Pretty good tactics fighting Doom. • I don't think some of those hits against Deception could've been avoided, so nice job. • Wasn't there some way to avoid getting hit by the Mechanical Entity's Clock attack? • Whoa. Tanzra got a serious upgrade! Still seems like a cream puff to me, though. Nice use of rapid-fire Projectiles, by the way. • Isn't that the same cliffside from Actraiser? My Vote: Yes. Reasons: Though the game itself may be exceedingly dull, dry, and boring, Zurreco does a good job of playing it as quickly as possible. There are very few glitches to exploit, but the one glitch he does exploit(the Rapid-Fire Projectiles glitch), he exploits in a very nice manner. "Expert" schmexpert. This run makes the game look easy, but doesn't make it look any less cheap.(As far as "impossible-to-avoid" hits go.) Advice: Try and take less hits when possible. You can't avoid all of them, but those you can, try harder to avoid.

Wow. Massacre. o_o; My Vote: Yes. Reasons: This is a bloody massacre. And fast? Is it ever fast, man. . . It's insane. And awesome. Advice?: Winners don't do drugs.

Revived. And, damn it! I had a big, extensive, pin-point accurate thing written here and was going to post it, but I hit the wrong button and it got eaten. >_<;; Oh well. . . My Vote: Yes. Reasons: You owned this game, back and front. Advice: Maybe stick with the Stone Axe sub-weapon a little more. Might've helped in the fight against the Evil Witch. Also, try charging Barney's shots if it doesn't take too long. Might help against the volcano bats. Finally, try using Barney to cross small pitfalls, like near the beginning of the Inner Volcano stage, instead of using Fred to fall down and catch himself on the opposite ledge.

Revived!! >_> <_<; (Feel free to tell me not to do this again if I'm not supposed to revive ancient topics like this that have no lock.) Man, I don't know how many stages there were to this game(I never played it through, honestly), but being able to warp to the last boss like that is insane. As is this speed run. Man, I dunno what else to say. I dunno where the Heck the poll went, but here's how I'd vote anyway. . . My Vote: Yes. Reasons: Because he is. . .the Kid Chameleon!! But seriously, this makes the game look as easy as Rockman 3 using the High Jump debug code. Advice: None. Period.

This game has driven me insane time and time again. I just want to see someone beat it. I want to see someone beat it so badly Borf craps his pants.(So to speak.) I can't find my way through the bloody Space Maze to where I'm supposed to be going, and therefore, cannot finish the game. And I swear, I've been to every portal there so far! It's undescribably frustrating to be whooped by such an easy(yet irritating) game loosely-based on the hit Laserdisc game. So. . .who's interested?

I probably should, but I like looking at things through my own viewpoint alone, without taking into consideration much else. Just the stuff I know right off-hand. And I know stuff about this game, so. . . ^_^;;

As long as it's not Where's Waldo? for the NES or something. . . That game gave me a headache back when I rented it in my youth.

Ugh. Just. . .ugh. This is a horrific game. I mean, the run itself is good and all, but the game. . . Just. . . The only redeeming quality of this horrific movie tie-in is the fact that one of the songs played later ended up in Pugsley's Scavenger Hunt on the Super. No big assessment this time around. This game just sicken and irritates me too much to try and critique it properly. . . Final Vote: Meh.(Changed from No.) Reasons: This is a horrible game. Why Ocean made this game is beyond me. This game comes close to physically sickening me. The speed run is proably very, very good, but for Christ's sakes. . . The game. . . The game is the problem! Aside from that, the game just seems far too boring to make a properly interesting speed run. There aren't enough glitches to exploit, or enough action to really make it interesting. Still, it's not very fair of me to instantly say "No". . . So I'm changing my vote, at least post-wise(seeing as I can't change the poll vote. . .). Sorry about that. Advice: Play a different game if you value your health. XD Edit: Know what? I'm changing my vote. Or would be, if I could do so in the poll. I jumped the gun a little. Sorry.

Man, I wish there were a way to pause GENS movies. . . • Anyway, up until you defeated Master Mold, you were running flawlessly. I think you could have teleported through more of those explosions if you'd wanted. • Avalon seems like a flawless run, too. You really know your stuff, dude. Was it really necessary to get hit in the gravity shaft, though? Couldn't you have just teleported to hit that switch instead of getting hit by the Alcolyte? • Nice job on taking care of Exodus. • Same goes for trapping Magneto in that stasis field. You are one quick son of a gun. • Clever job on taking care of Tusk outside the pyramid. • I thought you were just being sloppy inside the pyramid, fighting Apocalypse, but I see why you let those bombs hit you, now. To save time. And it worked, so good on ya. • As with the other levels, you make the entire Savage Land look all too easy. • Also, that was exceedingly clever, teleporting out from under those overhangs in the temple. • Damned good job on taking out the Brainchild Phalanx! Same goes for taking out the giant Phalanx in the first base area. • There's not much you could've done in the elevator, but I think you preformed quite well regardless. I didn't know you could destroy something above you by simply climbing up the wall as Wolvie! Awesome. • Nice job on dispatchng Deathbird so quickly. • Interesting tactics on taking down the Phalanx "Mech-Wasp".(I forget the name of those alien creatures. Which is sad, 'cause I used to have an action-figure of them.) Nice and quick. • Did you ever notice? Both of those claws turn into "you" in a one-player game, but you never fight "you" twice. • Anyway, decent job on the Phalanx X-Men. I notice you slipped and got hit fighting P-Nightcrawler, though. Nothing too huge, really. Just kind of an "oopsie". And you did it again fighting P-Wolvie. • No freaking fight with P-Magneto?! How disappointing. . . It doesn't effect the ending any, but it's fun to do anyway. Final Vote: Yes. Reasons: There is barely anything wrong with this speed run. He cut corners, exploited a glitch or two(maybe), and used only the X-Mens' natural abilities to get what he wanted to get done. . .uh. . .done. Advice: Go back and fight P-Mangeto, damn it. Just for the Hell of it. Heh. Don't necessarily record it, just go beat him up. What you need to do is defeat all the Phalanx X-Men clones except for one. It doesn't matter what order you do it in just so long as all but one are dead. Now, once you've done that, head back down to the very bottom of the area -- the end of the hallway where the Phalanx mech's claws turned into your character(s). Now, hit the wall to the left. If you do this, the wall should emit a circle of explosions which circle around twice and into a sort of close-eyed blank-looking smiley face.(Looks like this -> -_-) Now, head back up into the second room from the bottom on the right. This room should have a wall blocking your progression. However, if you did as I said, if you hit this small wall, it should shatter like glass. Walk into the room, and there, you will fight Phalanx-Magneto!

Hm. . . I see stuff that is not impressing me. First Run The Graveyards • A lot of missed jumps here. The Abandonned Island • Was it really necessary to take that hit from that "Circular Glob"? • Not a bad job on the Cockatrice. The Shipyards • A couple of missed jumps. The Raging Seas • Not enough show-off-iness. • Getting the armours slowed you down a bit and wasn't really worth it, in my opinion. • Nice job on the The Sponge Queen, though was the Magical Dragon spell really necessary? The Volcano Mines • A few missed jumps. Sardius' Towers • Again, use of the Magic Dragon spell wasn't really worth the time it took to charge. • Decent work on taking down the The Giant Centipede. The Living Caves' Esophagus • No real comments. The Living Caves' Intestines • Several missed jumps and oppurtunities here. • You could have just as easily used Magic to "invincible" your way through the gas spouts or even jumped over/around some of them better than you did. • Not to mention you could have easily gotten to the exit in that area just as quickly as you showed off. • Nice job on the Hydra. The Frozen Trees • No comments. The Arctic Mountains • Impressive job on dodging the avalanches. • Equally impressive is the way you took down The King of the Arctic Mountains. [Writer's Note: It was about at this level that I started writing as I was watching. Sorry for the less-descriptive stuff before-hand.] Sardius' Castle Entrance • Destroying the Cockatrice Head wasn't necessary at all. You could have just as easily avoided it. • Missed a jump shortly there-after. The ledge on which the Son of Satan is resting. • Not too shabby a job on taking down the Satan Illusion Sardius' Castle Towers • Creative use of the Magic Dragon spell on destroying the Cockatrice Heads. • The third Cockatrice Head could have just as easily been jumped over, instead of destroyed. • Double-Jumping over the chest shortly after was completely unnecessary and slowed you down. • You could have double-jumped up two stairs at a time, after the two Cockatrice Heads.(With the break-away walls.) • You got a little sloppy with the second Satan Illusion, which cost you a second or two. • Instead of jumping over the huge beam blast Satan emits, you may have just as well double-jumped over it, getting in a few more shots to his head, but regardless, not a bad battle. Sardius' Personal Quarters • Never made it in. Lost some serious time here.(I'm kidding, I'm kidding!! I know it's physically impossible without the Stage Select code.) Second Run The Graveyards • Did anyone else notice Authur's Laser Dagger icon turn into a "TM" with a "©®" beneith it as the picture un-pixelated? Not a knock or anything, just a random comment. • Was taking out that first Zombie really necessary? • More missed jumps and whatnot. No more than the first run. Just different ones. The Abandonned Island • You stopped walking to shoot at some of those "Circular Globs" when you could have just as easily jumped and shot. • You missed the low-hanging money bag in the water right before a Circular Glob, this time! :D • Improved on your time against the Cockatrice, I notice. I'll chalk that up to the Armours and Laser Dagger. The Shipyards • You missed that first jump, again! I know there's a way up there. Just time it better. • Taking out that first Ghost was unnessecary. Or at the very least, the way you did it was. The Raging Seas • I notice that you seem to be showing off less here. You must have been as bored as I am watching this right now. ;P • Why on Earth did you grab the Goddess' Bracelet in this level?! Do you realize how much time you could have saved had you stuck with the Laser Dagger until Sardius' Castle Towers revisited?! You fool! Arr. . . • Pro Tip: Even though the various armours extend its range, the Bracelet still does the most damage if you shoot at point-blank range, as I'm sure you noticed when you were able to nuke that Squid Plant in one hit, instead of two.* • Twelve hits against the Sponge Queen may seem like good damage, but considering you can only throw one of those Goddess Bolts out at a time. . . Eh, alright. Ill stop knocking the Goddess' Bracelet for now. (* However. . .you still should have stuck with the Laser Dagger. . . I don't care what anyone says. That's only the most powerful weapon in the game at point-blank range. The Axe, however, is powerful at all ranges!(In terms of pure damage.) And the Dagger/Laser Dagger is the most useful and fastest, in my opinion.) The Volcano Mines • Is it just me, or did that second Fire Warg you destroyed. . .not explode? Weird. Sardius' Towers • Your goofing around cost you that second 1,000 Point bag of money, didn't it? :x • I have to admit, being able to take out those Stone Gargoyles in one hit alone is kind'a cool. • My sister walked in as I was watching this area of the movie and she started telling me that nji9 being able to double-jump isn't right at all. It's all sorts of wrong that he can jump in mid-air and be able to jump a second time. She stated that there should be something there to be able to jump off of, or bounce off of(like a wall-jump), instead of being able to jump once, then again in mid-air. At first, I thought she was talking about nji9's preformance, but then I realized she was talking about the game itself, not the movie. Anyway, I just found this funny. • Nice job, again, on The Giant Centipede. The Living Caves' Esophagus • Destroying that treasure chest in the start of this area cost you several seconds, and several Style points. • Double-jumping to get that bag of money from the ceiling(which becomes the floor about seven seconds later) was a stupid thing to do, as that double-jump cost you a few milliseconds. • And again, you stopped to take apart a chest! What is wrong with you? I know you're bored, but damn! The Living Caves' Intestines • I have to admit, that was kind'a cool, watching the Circular Glob explode as the gas stream hit it. Good timing on the game's part. • See? Told you you could've gotten to that exit earlier! And you did, too. • I'll bet it you were still using the Laser Dagger, you could've torn apart that Hydra faster. What? I'm just saying. . . The Frozen Trees • You really shouldn't've tried to hit that Son of Satan from, the distance you were at. The one before The Arctic Mountains. The Arctic Mountains • Once again, the boss slows you down due to the fact that the Goddess' Bracelet sucks in the main levels. Sardius' Castle Entrance • Again with the chest-breaking. What is wrong with you? If you're bored, stop playing. • Nice job on avoiding the first ladder, even though you were slow about it. • STOP BREAKING CHESTS YOU DON'T NEED TO BREAK!! • The Cockatrice Head slows you down a little, but not by much. • And not nearly as much as the Son of Satan, apparently. • Nice creative solution to that impassible platform area right before the Satan Illusion. • I'm not sure double-jumping would have made much of a difference in attacking the Satan Illusion. Seems like double-jumping from that low of a height wouldn't be real helpful and slows you down, even if by a little. Sardius' Castle Towers • Again, that third Cockatrice Head probably wasn't much of a threat. . . There's some slowdown. • Nice dealing with that Satan Illusion. • Did you really need to run away from Satan so much? I mean, not a bad bit of combat overall, but still. . . Sardius' Personal Quarters • Four hits each time you come up to Sardius' head? With the weakest part of the Goddess' Bolts? I could probably manage five, or even six, by jumping before the platform breaks. . . And the last one or two would be as close as possible without getting hit. Only his head should damage you, afterall.(And his lasers. . .) • Sixteen weak hits and one final point-blank blow? Tsk tsk tsk, Nintendo Power's been lying to us this whole time. "Fifteen hits" my ass. At what range? So, overall. . . This run isn't that impressive. Not just because of the game, either. There were a lot of stupid mistakes that could have been avoided. But they weren't. Final Vote: No. Reasons For Vote: Too numerous to list here. See above. Comments?: You are certainly a good Chou-Makai-Mura(Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts) player, but a below-average speed-runner. Read my comments above for playing tips.

Yeah I know and that is really annoying. WonderBoy5 have the same problem that you cant save. However.. there is a hacked statesave at Zophar's Domain that brings you directly to the game Wily Tower. But that would break against the rules. I know that this statesave is for Genecyst. But it works anyway.
Yeah, I know. I was the one who submitted it, not knowing it was at that Mega Man PC site. My friend Auto just randomly handed it to me one day and I decided to submit it. Whoops.

It is physically impossible to get to Wily Tower without using an Save State, even if you play through Rockman, Rockman 2, and Rockman 3 in one sitting due to something along the lines of an emulation limit or something.(Apparently, the game saves in such a way that has yet to be properly emulated at this time. Don't ask me, I don't know.) It's also physically impossible to call the game up on the Game Select screen, as far as I know.(Unless there's some sort of Game Genie code or Patch Code out there for it.) Therefore, the movie would be a bit of a sham because you couldn't select the game itself and couldn't see the title screen or opening credits(if it has any). However, if someone wants to do a speed-run of just the basic Rockman games, they're more than welcome to it.

Megaman: the Power Battle in 03:20 • Takes no damage. • Uses enemy weapons. • Uses Bass(supposedly the hardest of the three characters to use because of his flighty "slide" move). • Plays Megaman 7 course, the most difficult course in the game. • Plays on Difficulty Level 4. • Plays on Time Limit Level 4(59.99 Seconds). • Defeats Wily Escape Pod. • Uses Save States to "predict" enemy patterns. • Six seconds faster than previous attempt and only misses two shots. Yes, well, unfortunately for me. . .Junkman held me up. God damned Junk Shield. . . But everyone else is immensely faster, now. I also employeed some damned creative tactics, if I do say so myself.

Hey, cut me some slack. This was my first attempt at a speed-run in any game. Heh.

Sometimes taking the time to rev up -- even if it only takes, say, half a second to get there -- can effect your time in the long run. Take Metropolis Act 3 for example. Revving up on those bolts instead of simply running up them actually takes a bit more time to do, considering you have to wait until you're done Spin Dashing before you can stop and rev up again. If you're playing Alone with either character, I'll admit that it's probably faster than trying to run it alone, but if you're playing with Sonic and Miles, running instead of Super Spin Dashing works just as well, and perhaps quite a bit better.

It looked to me like FODA tripped up a little on Track 2. . . And Track 3 was a rather slow run. He also missed a Cooldown Point in Track 5, if I'm not mistaken. But otherwise, this is a really good run. Not flawless, but really good. And FODA seems to be a bit of a showoff, as well. Never fails to amuse me when he makes the other bikers wipe out. Hah. Vote: Yes Reasons: Because all but one or two tracks, and perhaps a few moment in the other tracks, are played perfectly. Beyond what the people at Nintendo were intending, perhaps. Hooray for exploits! Advice: I've got nothing.
