I got a NES when I was something like 5 or 6. Played/had it for 6-7 years, then we sold it (I regret that now) and bought a Playstation. I want my NES back. :(

I got a :45, it's a smv file that's about 400k. I've watched it twice and it doesn't screw up anywhere (Michael said sometimes the button presses can mess up.. go out of sync or something). What do I do with it?
Well, you can submit it so we can view it as well. :)

I'd play at home too, but the adapter got broken. So all my money goes to arcade now. :/ Which is only good. Funner to play in front of people and with friends. :) I need to work on my timing still though...I get way too many greats. :(

So...any players here? If so, uhh, tell me/us something. >_> Accomplishments could be good. Yeah. We only have DS Euromix 2's here in Finland...the nearest Extreme would be in Norway. So the only 10 I've passed is Max 300, with an A at best. I'm starting to get AA's on heavy songs now, at least on some 6-8-footers...have FC'd Crash!, Candy, Look To The Sky, Ecstacy and then some...and I don't use the bar. :D I'm better on doubles though, have passed Max 300 heavy without the bars...:)

Can't, don't have the tools to do that. Hope this picture will suffice, for now. :) http://www.geocities.com/haburashikun/images/Pasianssi.jpg

If you click the second mouse-button, the game automatically puts up all the cards that can be put up, going through all the cards in the game- My bro is too good at Solitaire. He's got times like 40-50 in Draw One, Standard...and he's got pics to prove it. :D

I'm buying an adapter soon so I can once again play old games with my PS-pad and Stepmania with my dance mat, old one got broken. :( And playing with a joypad is SO much better than playing with the keyboard...

Dance Dance Revolution (arcade), definitely. I belong in the top 10 in Finland. :) Other games do not spring to mind...I guess I'm not that good of a gamer. :/

Don't know if this has been mentionied already but wouldn't it be faster NOT to get 5,000 at every end-of-the-level flag? Jump to the lowest point possible so it wouldn't take as much time as when sliding slowly down from the top of the flag... I'm pretty sure you could time it well too, so you wouldn't get the fanfare & explosions either, saving time...:/

Well, watched it. It was ok, but didn't measure up to the Doom II-time attack. This just felt like a bit sloppier, and it never really had any exciting points, like being at 1hp and facing numerous enemies...and he also got stuck on enemies several times, which hindered enjoyment... Of course, it could just be that Doom II is a better game. :)

River City Ransom, Rockman 2 & Doom II. Those time attacks I liked the best. On the speedrun side, Half-Life, Quake I and the DKC-videos. All so impressive...watched each of 'em at least 2 times...

Well, downloaded the video and watched it 2 times already. Great video, especially loved the way he prevented damage from falls by clinging onto the ladders and how he passed a complete episode by using the tripwire bombs...awesome. Definitely worth the download. :)

You'd be willing to burn it on cd and send it to me via snail mail? >_> Meh, I'll just download it. It'll only take 4 to 5 days. :) Depending on if the file will stay up of course...

Well, it's a _speedrun_, so they shouldn't have. Haven't downloaded the video yet, and I'm desperately trying to get it. Damn 56k...:/

I think it's been done in some videos already. No NES-videos to my knowledge, but some other platform videos (like SNES IIRC). I haven't downloaded 'em, but I read this from the descriptions...:)

I remember seeing one video where the game was just played through, and it took well over an hour...yeah, it's a long game.
