Voting Yes, because I support the idea of Minimum Presses, ... same reason ... but, now that it's mentioned, the video really makes more sense with the DDR steps, .. not that anyone is trying to dance it .. XD But seeing it without the steps, and knowing that the category is minimum presses, is not bad, at least to me .. =P

I vote No because there is already an improvement, to 143 presses,.. but ... wait, I voted Yes, now what? >_>' I think this should be tried in other games and other consoles, and if it don't make it to publication, it should invent a new 'Minimum Presses' forum and entire set of new movies... =D

I think if you want to get ALL COINS in the entire game, you should get them on the regular path, and not take the pipe for secret coins, ... without backtracking, you can say you got ALL REGULAR COINS, but if you go through the pipe, you will be skipping some of these.. =P As for the run ... I'm starting to watch ... now. And stopped on 0:11~0:12 seconds because the author decided to win a coin from the ? box ... voting No for that ... O_o EDIT: Oh, it was a mushroom ... the pipe path is so common to me that when I saw he hit the ? box, I paused immediately x_x sorry about that =P EDIT 2: Still a No vote for so many unoptimized parts, but ... this has the seeds of greatness, if worked through again, and I too thought of that after watching the 8-1 part .... if you learn to skip flags and go through walls, you can at least raise to a lot of Mehs ^^

I was seriously thinking about voting Meh, because the 2 first hours of disc 3 are quite boring +__+ and I was mostly expecting that the final bosses wouldn't be defeated by Quina's limit glove ... ... and one fact almost made me vote No: why do you get the excalibur 2?? The real TASsy thing to do would be to avoid it even allowed, unless it's a much better weapon against the final bosses, would it be impossible to fight them without it? O_o Voted Yes, very interesting planning for fights, and ... may I ask, what are the final levels for each character (counting 8 characters) (did Quina stay on level 4 for the entire run or what??) o_o

I've already marked 'Pause when menu activated' and 'Start paused' ... and unmarked 'Run in Background' and 'Accept Background Input' .. ... what do I have to do to make it keep paused when I put it on Frame Advance Mode, and not go back to 100% speed when I reactivate the window??? @________@ I just can't TAS with something that unpauses by itself all the time, where is the 'Absolute Pause' option??? x__x

Now I get it! My messages are all happening in the middle of the screen when I set them to lower left corner, 0, 0... middle left, actually, I think it's not recognizing the Screen 2x O__o EDIT1: The emulator unpauses too often, usually because I changed to the browser and came back ... this is bad for frame advancing, because the game resumes running and can ruin a movie, or at least increase the rerecord count by some hundreds .. x_x Also, the message window doesn't accept any Y value greater than 184, and I'm pretty sure my screen is bigger than that in pixels ._. (plus, it doesn't accept negative values, which means there is no use to the other corners, just upper left) O.o (is this supposed to be like that? I'm starting to figure that maybe it's supposed to be like this and I'm not using it right) o_O BTW, thanks, I found the paths option and the folders are not a problem anymore... XD I'm moving a project from Dega to Bizmark here to see if I can find more bugs +_+

I don't think the import button for movies works at all for MMV ... O_o tried many files here, none can be reproduced on Bizhawk @___@ Will it desync movies when the second version is released? (this is not a bug, at least not in this version) >_>' Do I have to move all my SMS roms to the new folder? and the movies too?? @___@ Do I have to accept that frame counter so near the middle of the screen? Is there a way to move it? o_o (this is almost a bug) xP EDIT1: Why do I have the Stop button clickable when the movie already finished running? x_x EDIT2: Why 'Movies starting from a save state are not supported'? EDIT3: My massive files conversion worked, and now I can see the files on the list ... all I've tried so far desync... badly +_+

Is this name the final version? I keep forgetting it and calling BizMark, or BizRock ... x_x *making first tests, it really looks better .... but it's not running any NES, or GB, or Gen ... I think it's just a SMS emulator for now o_o

I just didn't vote, and decided to rewatch ... so, I confirmed ... there is a really non-professional mistake on Emerald Hill 1 at a point ... that is enough for me to vote No ..... but I voted Meh anyway, because, the video gets better and better, ... I think a Meh is more satisfying than a No to the author ... this is a must for improvement, I'm hoping to see the better version that will be made in the near future \o/

I have a question =P 1- When did this happen?? Just now when I was getting used to Dega-S ... ._. that's not the question, this is: 1- Will hex-editing be a list of frames or that hexadecimal hard thing to read? ... looking this way, I'll just download this net framework thing and start being a TASer on 2012 already ... XD 2- (I wasn't gonna but..) .. ( ... forget it, the prereqs thing worked) >_> 2- (remembered something else) ... what happens to MMV files? all I did in 2011 will be just obsoleted in a blink of an eye? ._.

I think you should have used Grand Prix mode, as it displays your total time at the end. Here, you exit the levels after finishing so quickly that we have no chance to see what your completion time is. Voting Meh for that reason.

I didn't recognize some of the stages due to it being too fast.. +D So, I'm voting Yes, it used to take me around 1 hour to put one character on the max stats, and even that is not needed.... x.x

Voted Yes, great boss fights, and waiting times, .. I kind of use the exact same weapons on most bosses, but this is just extremely faster than all my misses and ration using x.x .... (wait, am I comparing a TAS to my gamer skills? That's probably lame) Anyway, I agree to the idea of a 100% plot run, should I put a quote here too? ^^'

I'd stick to the details and small things if I was to have a Tool-Assisted real life ... I'd.. - luck manipulate the bus to be on time for me.. - avoid "taking damage" from cigarettes and people in streets.. - use save states to get the girl.. - corrupt bank data to get a little extra money.. Some more things I could do when I wanted: - I could go all bad-ass cop and destroying an entire crime organization alone, with an umbrella and a pillow as weapons.. - I could get to an airport and go wherever I want with a little more manipulation.. - I could save RAM addresses to remember things from childhood.. - I would do a piano concert without learning how to play.. - and I could abuse death, just to see if it saves time .. XD And of course, I would go frame precise so my typing would be done 1 letter per frame.. xP

Is the http://tasvideos.org/AdvancedLuckManipulation.html the next step, then? @__@ I'm pretty sure pressing arrows mean exactly this to the game: Up: adds 1 to the RNG Down: adds 2 to the RNG, (sometimes I hold it for 1 frame more and it adds 130 instead) Up+Down: adds 3 Left: adds 4 Up+Left: adds 5 Down+Left: 6 Up+Left+Down: 7 (I can't press them together until I change the inputs to easier keyboard buttons) Right: adds 8 Up+Right: 9 Down+Right: 10 Up+Right+Down: 11 Left+Right: 12 Up+Left+Right: 13 Down+Left+Right: 14 All four arrows: 15 ... I'm guessing some more people already found this out before, ... Up=1 Down=2 Left=4 Right=8, it's always 16 combinations and it means the directional.. But when I went over 2300 rerecords, and only 10/30 levels are concluded, .. I started to think "this is not the most intelligent way to get the better results" ... I know buttons 1 and 2 aren't changing the results, because I already found the RNG ... but I called it 'Doubtful RNG', because .. let's see.. it gets to 8100 always changing, .. and on 8105 the RAM address for next pair is already chosen ... between this space of frames, I tested possibilities and always found numbers that could bring two results ...... maybe I'm looking at it the wrong way @__@ How come there is no Lua scripting on the Glossary? O_o

Do we have anything on 'RNG and how to get better results on incoming pairs of Puyo Puyo games'?? Is the game keeping a list of next pairs in RAM? Or the RNG decided the next pieces? I can't get the game to change the income, except more than 14 frames before the screen appears, ... I found out that the RNG changes every time I press any arrow, but I'm not getting anywhere making the first pair being the one I want, ... If nothing is random, WHERE is the logic for that?? @___@ Can I keep track of a number so the repeation of it makes the incoming pair be the same as before? I don't know what to do anymore @___@
