I think this run could be used as a base for "hard" SMB runs, beat the minus world to unlock hard difficulty, run normally through the game until you beat 8-4.

Hm, in the final level there's one point where the game lags from too many enemies because hatches in the ceiling spawn flying "cells", wouldn't turning around for one frame and killing them be faster?

In level 7 it looked like you hit a sildier when you destroyed the last spiked wall...

Great Jorb, looks 5-10 times better than the previous run.

SRAM isn't accepted because that SRAM data is not known to be correct, it could be modified to allow things you normally couldn't do. The AoS runs were accepted since the SRAM was created by a known way (existing TAS) but how do we know this SRAM is really what you get when you beat the game rather than some hex edited thing?

Hm, the published run is over 4 minutes faster.

Sounds like he was just recording a normal speedrun. Sorry but those have to be done on a normal console to really prove you're using "no cheats" (pfft, yeah, like that's impossible to fake). Could possibly be one of those anti-TAS trolls but I won't accuse him unless there's a real reason to believe so.

Wait, where does that 1287 number come from? The last submission I can see is 1201.

Megaman Zero 4 was TASed before the international release but asking for a game to be TASed when there's not even a non-rerecording emulator available...

Interesting, I did see the secret ending for Chef Stef's DX run. It's after the credits roll.

Hm, could you make the 5 CPU bankrupt movie involve the player going bankrupt as well? Or is it not possible to have all players go bankrupt?

It desynced for me at the final boss (he spawned on the other side of the screen). But I suppose that doesn't matter since youre redoing the movie anyway.

No, that'd be pointless. If you want to fill the GBA section run some of the games from the Wishlist thread.

Hm, seems like DK: King of Swing hasn't been suggested yet. It's a bit slow moving but I think it'll make for a good TAS anyway due to the physics and the going bananas mode (collect 20 bananas, push A and become faster andinvincible)

If you want to try a new style, try Gradius with only a shield. At least in the GB version the shield is only depleted from bullets, not enemies (which makes it great for the Moai stage).

I'd say there's a good chance that this is one of those anti-TAS trolls (what with the "no swindle" comment).

Aw, I was hoping someone would try to run King of Swing.

I don't think constant damage boosting makes a movie look bad. Optimizing which enemies to hit for the health to last for as many boosts as possible would add strategy as well.

Moon means "exceptional movie" but only shows up at the front page.

Hm, on question that I don't think was answered in the submission text: Did you optimize fadeout lag?

When you reached Vanilla Dome I was suddently sure that this is star worthy. Although I'm not sure if a 100% run should represent SMW in the stars section, many people might want to see the shorter movie first. Maybe JXQ's run shouldn't get unstared?

Weird, when I tell FCEU to play that video it resets the game but doesn't play it...

Much better than the previous run and I can see it without desyncs.

It's strange, sometimes you take more than two hits before turning green again...
