I'm just wondering if there's been any progress on the 100% run as of late. :3

Somehow I actually forgot about the Star Pieces. However, all badges would be a requirement, as they are collectables. And besides, you would only have to visit the person with the badges once after you got all of the Star Pieces. But, yea, I agree about the max level thing. It would be extremely boring to watch all of that grinding. I've always wanted to see a 100% Speed Run or TAS of this game. I hope it does get done eventually.

I believe all badges, all quests/Side Quests done, maxed level/BP/HP/FP. I think that's all, but I could be wrong.

Just wondering if any work has been started on a TAS for this game.

I might have to wager that Disney's Tarzan is easier than this game. xD But after watching part of the Long Play on Youtube, I'm looking forward to seeing this game TASed. Good luck. :3

Personally, you should do what you feel you should. Don't let us dictate which one you do. I'm sure either way, both will get done eventually. Everyone knows I lean more toward 100% runs, anyway. xD

Any% and 100% TASes of this game could be just as entertaining as the first game. I played a little of this one little over a year ago. I kinda got stuck though. xD I'd definately watch TASes for it.

I'm giving this a yes vote. I never played the game, but it looks like a lot of fun to play. :3 So I may have to pick it up some time. Quite an entertaining TAS.

I watched more than half of it last night, and I have to say, it's quite fun to watch. :3

I'll have to take a look at this later. I rather enjoyed playing this game when I did play it. I'm sure the WIP will be just as fun. :3

Yes, like every other N64 game, it is a so-called "collect-a-thon game"; and it looks like Mupen can handle it very well. Anyway, I just posted to ask Kitsune to read this:
I never played the game, so I wouldn't know.

That supposed to hurt my feelings or bruise my ego some?

I can agree on not using the Mushroom Houses, but I stand firm on the Hammer Bros. Besides, it's really up to the TASer, not us.

I disagree with NOT doing the Hammer Bros. They would break up the routine of just going from level to level. Besides, we NEED a 100% run. >:3

Kitsune: http://tasvideos.org/15M.html 9 years old and not that optimized, but it exists at least. All levels are started and ended as small Mario. I would like to see a improved version of all levels, either on the NES or SNES version
It doesn't kill every Hammer/Fire/Boomerang/Giant Hammer Bros. though. So I don't consider it a 100% run. Plus, it desynchs less than half way through, so I won't even download that one again. I hate it when speed runs or TASes desynch.

I'm not sure how many levels there are in the game. I always kept getting killed probably after the first 20. xD I was addicted to the game for quite some time. It is a ton of fun to play. Unlike a lot of games, a No Deaths run is pretty much mandatory. Because the death scenes take at least 4 seconds.

Yes, an All Levels run would be a welcomed change after so many low% runs. I mean, the current Warpless run was a bit of a disappointment to me cause it doesn't do all levels. All Hammer/Fire/Boomerang/Giant Hammer Bros. would be a welcomed sight as well. Be the site's first 100% SMB3 run.

I haven't used Dolphin too much myself. I think my processor might be a little too slow to run games properly, but I'll be getting a 3.4ghz Quad Core in a couple weeks. So I'll see soon enough.

It kinda looked like he used a lot of wasted input against the boss, though. Unless that was all for manipulation.

Meh. I'm not really all that impressed with this. Low% runs for this game have been done so often that it got done being impressive a long time ago. It's just been done to death.

Last I checked Trog wasn't a Puzzle Game. So I really don't know what game you're talking about. Dinosaurs punching Cavemen is always a good time.
