I have only two words. HOLY CRAP! This run didn't get boring for even a second! This just about has to be the most entertaining run to date. Knowing how hard it is to get all 100 souls, and you just made it look freakin' easy! I too am giving it a Star Nomination. Big yes vote!

I'm giving this a yes vote, late, I know, but still, a yes vote. I rather enjoyed seeing those giant Spiders die, as well as all of those Zombies. Most enjoyable, was watching a few groups of zombies die in big booms, yes.

I just upgraded my computer, and nothing really runs good for me on Dolphin. I think the emulator just needs some better Video plugins. Although, finding such things is easier said than done. Edit: Well, I just payed attention to my FPS on PCSX2, and both PCSX2 and Dolphin run at about 38-50 FPS with any game. Dolphin says it emulates Mario Kart Double Dash perfectly, but it doesn't. That one ranges about the same. And I know for a fact that my computer should be able to easily run PS2 and GC Games, since it can run Borderlands with no problems.

Yes, I believe those Super Guide things are tool assisted myself. Needless to say, a TAS for this game is going to be longer than New SMB on DS, that's for sure. And Luigi needs more respect dammit! >.<

Well...I managed to find the Emulator, version 1.6, but it needs a lot of work, such as Controller Support, Memory Card Support, Rerecording, etc. As it is currently, it's more or less just a mess of an emulator that won't accept controller input, and for the most part, impossible to get the memory card functions to work. Edit: Well, I managed to get the memory cards working, I just had to delete all the data in them, first, heh. Now it just needs decent controller support, cause right now, it has none, and rerecording.

Well, unfortunately for me, I just found this topic here, since I JUST started looking for Dreamcast games. And now it appears they have either discontinued the Emulator, or just closed it down altogether. Well, that's my luck, always bad.

Well, yeah. The Speed Run is a little boring due to all of the sailing. But like I said, there are worse games. Like Super Paper Mario.

I really don't know why everyone is so down on this game. I honestly didn't think it was THAT BAD. There really are worse games out there. -.-

I really don't think Super Paper Mario is going to be a good TAS. Have you seen the run on SDA? It's boring as hell, and that's because the game sucks. They ruined a winning formula by making this game that has little to no replay value. I hope they make a new game, but make it like the first two. Only reason I still have the game, is because it completes the series.

I just got this game today, and I've been hooked on it the last seven hours straight. xD Anyway, since this game isn't really that heavy on the graphics, I think a TAS of this is foreseeable in the near future.

They added the ability to Morph Ball Jump in the Wii Versions of MP and MP2. You just flick the wiimote upward. That would actually save a little time in terms or Bomb Jumping, since you can jump just as high with the wiimote, as you do with bomb jumping. But, yeah, in a 100% TAS, the Wii version would probably be preferable.

Given that there are two options for both the first and second games, I think I would rather see a run of the Wii remake.

I was just wondering if a few people could seed the current TAS for this game done by Soulrivers. :3 Thanks!

I'm giving this run a yes vote. I'd been wanting to see a 100% Sonic run for this game, and this did not disappoint.

Cool. After watching the first hour and a half, I believe I have seen enough to give this a yes vote. And thanks for making the mkv, Omni. Helped out a lot. :3

I didn't notice there was an mkv file until you said something, so I went and looked for it. Downloading it right now. I do have a question, though. Does the sound desynch?

I wish I could watch this TAS, but for some reason, the emulator keeps crashing.

I'm going to have my Brother take a look at what's going on. If anyone can figure out how to do it without disabling my Firewall, he can. :3 Edit: Well, he couldn't figure it out either. It almost has to be Windows doing it, but he doesn't know exactly where or what. So I'll just have to wait for runs to be published to watch them for now, I guess. Re-edit: Well, apparently it's something going on with just my explorer, cause I can download the submission files from AOL.

I have Comcast McAfee, and it never gave me this kind of trouble until after I had my Brother do a full restore.

I'm not sure if this is the right thread or not, but every time I try to download a TAS to watch it by Emulator, I end up getting some kind of error message. It's happened to me with the Breath of Fire II submission file and now the E.V.O. submission file. This is the error I get. Access blocked because of missing/unacceptable referrer information.

That's my point! I would too! I mean, much more boring games have gotten TASes done for them. But apparently so many people think so little of this game they feel it doesn't deserve one. This game is just as good as the first in my opinion. I mean, taking damage to save time could be a plausible time saver if there's no other option, since you can have a life meter.

Bwahahaha! Yes! Almost three months later, I yet again revive this thread! It's really kinda sad that the only three posts in this thread are mine. >.>
