I'm giving it a Meh vote, because there were a lot of parts I found to be extremely boring, such as the constant Lakitu use and Lap Skipping. Otherwise this is a good TAS.

It is definately Gyruss. I had the game, maybe even still do. :3 I might have beaten it once, using a 30 Lives Cheat though. >.> That game is HARD! One of my favorites. I would definately be interested in seeing a TAS. :3

I guess a real 100% TAS would be rather tedious to do. Because you would have to collect one of every item, weapon and armor, learn EVERYONE'S Techniques and complete all quests and side quests. I don't call the current SDA 100% a true 100% Speed Run for exactly that reason. If I am understanding correctly, are you doing a TAS like the newest Speed Run, or are you going to revive Crono after Lavos desintegrates him?

If you happen to patch that "Pause Menu" problem in tyhe Emulator, I might consider trying to TAS Paper Mario. A good Graphics Fix would be nice too, since none of the Emulators really emulate Paper Mario very well. Glitching Backgrounds and other such things.

I used to have this game when I was a child. Don't remember what happened to the Cartridge, but I know I never beat the game. :3 This remains one of my most memorable games. ;3 So I care about that TAS. :3

When CC is finished, I will watch the next WIP. This TAS is easily half an hour faster already than the SDA Speed Run. COngratulations! ^.^

I am voting yes, even though the "Takes no Damage" information is false. You clearly do take a hit from the big pirate in the castle, losing a single point of health. I am using the correct Rom Version though, so I don't think that can be held accountable for me seeing that. All in all, I gave it a yes, because I really love this game, one of my favorites from my Childhood, and the TAS is well made. ^.^ EDIT: It's more like 2-3 points of Damage now that I look at it closely. :3

-Growl.- I can't find the BIOS Files anywhere..And any links that have them are dead now. I'll just continue to wait until a real working DS Emulator comes around...

I don't think you should just let any of the characters die. That really bugged me in the SDA run the way he was always letting the girl die. Just my input. ;3

I think it does increase your running speed. Maybe doubles it. I never really did the quests. But I know it did in MM.

Well. I don't really care what language the Final Runs are in, but I at least want the English version used for the Test Runs. :3 And I'll be happy. ^.^ I am wondering if any progress has been made on either of these Test Runs as of late though. EDIT: This site must really hate AOL. Three Missed tried when trying to send this message from there, so I had to switch to Internet Explorer. >.>

There is also a certain technique that Luigi learns that might make things a lot faster. I believe it's called Spin Bros. or something like that. ANyway, if Luigi's Attack Power is high enough, I can take out every enemy on the screen. Or attack one enemy several times. ANyway, he can get the Scroll from the Thwomp in the Hammerhead Bros. cave after the final Hammer Upgrade.

Are you sure Atma has given up on this? I certainly hope not. I finished the Test Run. And wanna see a fully optimized TAS with the Best Ending. :3 If he did abandon this project, it's possible he may come back to it sooner or later. ;3 But I too am interested as to what has been occuring concerning this TAS over the last six or so months.

Well. Death Warping will be easy, if you can manage to find a group of enemies that hit hard and/or fast. But avoiding the "Beep-Beep, Beep-Beep" throughout most of the TAS noise will be a definite sanity saver! I am happy that someone is considering doing this. :3

I've never beaten this game, or the first or third or fourth for that matter. But my idea of a best ending would be Katt marrying Ryu, hehe. :3 What can I say? I really like Katt, and it's Romantic. :3 I am highly impressed with the current Test Run. GOing to finish watching it now. ^.^
