I don't know why you would want to skip Thoreau. That Pixl has a few different uses such as in boss fights by grabbing enemies. And Thoreau is the only way you can beat the first world's boss. Ugh...Why do I remember things about this game! >.<

It's been quite some time. Just wondering if there's been any Progress on the two TASes for this game. :3

I have to agree. A true 100% run would be AWESOME!

I love this game. The 100% run on SDA has been one of my favorite runs for quite some time.

100% Diablo. 100% Diablo 2+LoD. 100% La Mulana. 100% Cave Story. Warcraft. Warcraft 2+Exp. Warcraft 3+Frozen Throne. 100% Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project. Mercenaries 2 any% and 100%. Zombie Driver any% and 100%. Quake Series any% and 100%. Doom Series any% and 100%. Ghostbusters: The Video Game any% and 100%. Neverwinter Nights any% and 100%. GTA Series 100%. House of the Dead Series. Borderlands any% and 100%. Yes, I have a lot of 100% wishes. But this is a Wishlist. :3

A 100% run might make a TAS too long. But then again, I love 100% runs no matter the length.

Ouch. Ouch. Duke Nukem just took a direct hit to the balls from the X-Play Review. 1 out of 5 Stars.

There's a lot of misconceptions about chemotherapy out there, most of it based only on the worst case scenarios. Yes, there are many cases where chemotherapy is very destructive and hazardous, but there are also many other cases (probably even the majority) where it isn't, and it actually works and actually cures you. People tend to only look at the worst cases and get all emotional, without realizing that those are only the extreme cases, not the average. See a more rational experience from an actual cancer patient: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzySHcWuRqw Of course if you want to die a painful death instead of using a proven form of therapy, that's up to you.
I can't go through Chemo after seeing what it did to my Aunt. It wasn't the Cancer that killed her. It was the Chemo that did it. She was the most energetic person I knew. And she was my favorite Aunt. I guess apparently there's a book out there that tells of some type of food out there that Bill Clinton eats that cures like 97% of people with various types of cancers. The book costs $30, but if it actually works, it'll be $30 well spent.

That reminds me. I downloaded Cave Story a while back and haven't played it yet. I should really do that. :3

Don't really know what they have to do with it, and I don't really care. All Chemo does is kill, just like the FDA.

Appeal to emotion. Unless chemo is more likely to kill you than the cancer, you should take the chemo. EDIT: For those wary about the FDA, I'd read this to realize why we 100% need an organization like them: http://www.fda.gov/AboutFDA/WhatWeDo/History/ProductRegulation/SulfanilamideDisaster/default.htm
Chemo is not gonna happen. I'll take my chances without it if it comes to it. I'll live longer without having my fuckin' brain or whatever else radiated. They call it therapy, but all it is, is a way for the FDA to milk you for money while they hope you die from Radiation Poisoning. And that's how I honestly feel. Any doctor tells me to get Chemo, they won't have any teeth left by the time I'm done with them.

I can honestly tell you all something. If I end up with some type of Cancer, I won't be going through Chemo-Therapy. I've seen what that garbage can do first hand. My Aunt died from Lung cancer which spread up from her Liver. Every day she got weaker and weaker because of the Chemo until eventually she couldn't even stand up anymore. I'll NEVER, EVER forget what that shit did to her! I'll hunt around on the internet for possible cures.

I don't need to watch the video to know the FDA is milking sick people for money. It's run by a bunch of heartless, money hungry assholes. There has been a cure for every type of cancer for well over 10 years now. There are pills out there you can buy online that have been proven to kill cancer cells and the cancer itself. The FDA just cares more about money than they do Human Life. This is the main reason currency should have never been created in the first place. The FDA will just never admit they have these cures.

I'll probably pick up a copy later on with Steam when it's a little cheaper.

I honestly don't think you can multibounce a Koopa Troopa in SPM. Every enemy has a set amount of hp. The only trick I know of is in Level 1 of the last chapter, but you need to do that stinking 100 Trials thing for the companion, then buy some of those Koopa Shells that turn giant and kick it down the starting hallway and run after it with the companion's speed boost. This game is really annoying..

There is no 1-Up Trick. All you can do is continually bounce on a shell for constant levels, if that even works in this...Game. Practice restraint...Practice restraint...

I wish a 100% run of this game was possible, but it would take forever. Probably looking at about 10 hours or grinding just to get Spirits to Max Level.

I was really looking forward to it too. I mean. I heard it was coming back in February, and that got me excited to play it. Shoulda known something was wrong when the Release Date went from May 3rd to June 14.

I haven't played the game as of yet, but the things I've been hearing aren't good. Clunky Controls, long load times, long waits between periods of action. Now, I could forgive the Long Load Times and the long periods without fighting. But bad controls are something I hate with a passion.

Hey, I was back on topic. Cardboard dragged me back out of it. I can happily say that won't be happening again. I'm choosing to ignore anything else that's Off Topic from the Thread Name. So yes, you have a Deal. Now, back on topic. It's sad that this game we've all been waiting almost 15 years for has come out to suck big time. 2 out of 5. It'll probably get at least that if not worse on X Play.
