I don't think there will be a good functioning DS Emulator for quite a while unfortunately. And it will probably be even longer before we get one with Controller Support(I hate using the Keyboard to play games.). I guess all we can do is sit, and wait impatiently.

I also second that games like Gradius/Gradius 3 make for poor TAS choices. All they do is bore me to sleep. Anyway, to each his or her own.

I would say it's a good run, except in the second world during one of the levels it seizes up and gives me an error. Maybe I'm using the wrong version of VBA or something...

I wish people would stop nagging FODA about his runs. Give the guy a break here. Let him finish the 120 star run first. That is the one I am most anxious about. Forgive this outburst, but I'm just easily annoyed today.. Keep up the food work FODA, I look forward to seeing the completion of the 120 Star run. :3

Isn't the Gutsy bat basically the Casey Bat? I know the Casey Bat gives a SMAAAASH!! attack each time it hits. But it's hit rate is only about 5-10% of the time, so it won't be useful unless you can manipulate that.

Indeed. It will be almost impossible not to fight one though. The "Holy Shit!!" factor will be excellent. As I mentioned before, I only ever got the sword once. So. Get it if you want to. :3

It can be found on ANY Starman Super, Summoned into the battle or not. But facing one right off in a battle is preferable.

I would LOVE to see you get the Sword of Kings. I have only ever found it ONCE in all of the years I have played the game. ;.; It is one of the best weapons in the game. The only better weapons really, are Ness' Ultimate Weapon and the Multi Bottle Rockets. So, I say YES!

THis run gets a big fat no from me as well. I didn't even make it through the first three levels, almost fell asleep after the second. Nearly dozed off in the third. The Boss Fights are long and boring, and there is NO optimization as far as speed. This isn't a speed run, it's a snooze run.

Well, Cream. Unlike you, I don't have the time to read through EVERY single POST, of EVERY single GAME, of EVERY single CONSOLE on the forum. So I ask questions. I have a lot of them, and if I want to, I will type them in. Sucks though that Super Sonic is not in this game. :3

Megaman is not a 3D game either. Super Mario 64 IS. I think that FODA's run is just fine the way it is. It is interesting to watch.

Is this going to be a full game run, or what? I watched it, and it stopped right after the sixth emerald. I think it'll be interesting to see someone go through the rest of the game as Super Sonic, if it's possible in THIS game.

It is called the Heavy Bazooka, and requires 45 IQ to make. Depending on how well you can manipulate Jeff's IQ stat, you could easily get that in at least twenty levels. If you can manage to get at least 2 IQ per level, you'll be able to make a lot of the good stuff in around twenty five levels.

And I say you SHOULD bother leveling Jeff. Otherwise Jeff is just Cannon Fodder, and odds are will never get off a single attack. It would be hard on my eyes to have the text red all of the time, not to mention very annoying. Plus, the higher his Level, the MORE damage the bottle rockets will do. Plus. When his IQ is high enough, he'll make a very damaging Bazooka, that can do 300+ damage on it's own, rendering Bottle Rockets and Big Bottle Rockets pretty much un-needed, and will save money in the long run for Multi-Bottle Rockets.

Agreed. The Scorpions are much more of a pain than the Tigers. They can attack you so many ways.

If you want to eliminate this problem, if it becomes a big problem, get the Sun Song from the Kakariko Graveyard. It takes only a few minutes to get, and it will let YOU control the flow of daylight to moonlight.

Well. It has been a while since anyone has posted on this thread. So, I thought I would take the initiative and ask of anyone has found anything about DS Emulator Progress, such as if they are able to effectively run games like the New Super Mario Bros. ;3 I do hope there has been progress lately. :3
