I have to ask. Is a 100% run of this game even possible? As in all Levels? Or whatever a 100% run would entail? Whenever I played this game when I was younger, and had rented it from the local Video Store, it seemed like no matter what I did, I couldn't unlock and play every single level.

I would have payed more for it too! But there it was, staring me in the face for just $5. ^^ I could not pass that up! ^^ And that sounds cool. June is just next month. ;3

Oh, um...I can't remember the name of that bike, myself, cause I never use it. Although it's fast, it sucks! The Spear! I believe that's what it's called. Just kinda came to me, but I could be wrong. I don't really feel like popping the game into my Wii to make sure, though. I have no desire to play Mario Kart Wii for a while, cause the online play is really lacking and almost non-existent, and I usually kick all their butts anyway. Got the same way with Brawl using Pikachu until the game got too boring for me to give a damn anymore.

I just bought this game with a place called Near Zero, kind of an Indoor Flea Market but with only a few people running the place, for $5. Hope to see the 100% TAS done one day so I can play it and complete it 100%. :3

I guess this is the hardest game in the Donkey Kong series to TAS 105%. A lot of people have said they were gonna do it, but they start it and give up.

I bet they're still working it it. That or the run drove them both completely insane so they threw themselves off a bridge or something.

I could have sworn someone was already working on 100% TASes for this game, or they WERE going to.

It's the twinkle Star in japan, but here in the U.S. it's Shooting Star. And yes, that's epic.

Yeah I did the exact same thing. Good times. :) But I never tried to speedrun this game, so I don't know how fast she really is compared to others. Edit: Oh actually I used her other heavy bike, not the bowser bike.
Oh, The Shooting Star, huh? That bike is actually fairly decent, but not as fast as the Bowser Bike. And that video made me want to crawl out of my skin, SirVG.

I'd rather see it done using a slower character than have to listen to Daisy for a one hour plus run. Her voice is so ANNOYING. And anyway, Rosalina is anything but slow once she gets the Bowser Bike. When I gave a damn about playing the game online against other people, I repeatedly stomped them with her.

I really don't know if a TAS of this game is going to be all that entertaining. To be honest, I found the game to be a rather boring after a while. I kinda dislike the speed runs done on SDA, but that's probably because he uses Daisy, the most annoying character in the game. >.> Personally, I'd rather see it done using Rosalina.

Don't let bad game choice get you down. Try TASing a different game. There are bound to be a few gems out there. There are thousands of games, and only a few hundred have actually been TASed.

Gave it a yes vote. Personally, I think the music in this game is better than in Castlevania for NES.

Wow...really? The first version had an installer for Win but it still just ran the DOS version. When BNE came out I played the hell out of that, and even now, so many years later, some of my maps are still popular on Bnet...
Yep. Mine runs in windows, not DOS.

I wonder if anyone will actually work on a 100% TAS for this game? The one in Progress is 70 Shines, right?

I would watch a TAS of this. And I wasn;t aware there was a Dos version of Warcraft II. I know there's a WIndows 95/98 Version, cause I have it.

A 100% run is the only way Super Paper Mario would be remotely entertaining. Otherwise it's just 4-5 hours of Jump, Run, 3-D, avoid enemies, Multibounce on the bosses. I just hope the Paper Mario game for 3DS will be better.

That makes 4 people that want to see that crappy game known as Super Paper Mario. I think I'll go puke now.

The 100% Run on the SDA Forums only has a few segments left. I'm really looking forward to it. I also look forward to seeing published Any% and 100% TASes in the future. :3

So, what's the progress on this at the moment? This is one of my most anticipated runs. :3

I think Sami is planning on it, if it ever becomes TASable. What is the status of this game as far as playability? Or does Mupen still suck ass?

I'm sorry, but I have to give this a Meh vote. At least in the NES game, Nemo had a long range attack, which actually deviated a TAS away from boredom. I'm sorry. It's a good TAS, but I just can't vote yes. The game just isn't a very good one to run.
