AWESOME. Even if you did get it to go past the start screen, the audio would cut out somewhere. The game is awesome and needs to be TASed (IMO), so it's good that it works. :) Hopefully the sound is much better too. I hate playing Legend of Mana on the current choice, since the audio (mainly for SFX) is crap.
Would you believe that before I saw your LoM runs on SDA, that I didn't know LoM even existed? I intend to give the game a try soon now, though. >:3

What kind of Plugin support does this Emulator have currently? Could I pretty much pull all of my plugins from ePSXe and have them work on this emulator?

Well, we also want an emulator that will support most, if not all PSX Games. The Desync issues being fixed mean nothing if most games can't be TASed or even played.

This game is still considered by me to be the best in the series. The Thousand Year Door is awesome too, though. I'm sure everyone here knows my opinion of Super Paper Mario for Wii. But in case you don't...IT SUCKS! It doesn't deserve a TAS. Because it'll basically just be 5 hours of the same crap over and over again. Rant over. xD

Meh. I'm not very observant sometimes. I hope this Emulator will support most, if not all games though. PCSX-RR just doesn't seem to have a lot of game support.

Well, DKL2 was done 100% already. I figure DKL and DKL3 should get them too. Fortunately, the first game may get one soon by the looks of it. :3 Edit: And I just got around to watching the wip. And it's surprisingly fast for how slow paced this game is compared to the rest of them. :3

Well, I don't think a 100% TAS of this will be done any time in the near future, so it's a good thing someone on SDA is working on it, already up to 25 Segments.

Apparently it's called PSXjin. And from what I've heard, it's built off of the PCSX Core and already has Save States, Re-Recording and AVI Support. It's currently in the Beta stages at the moment. But it may be a good TASing Emulator. You can find it here. http://www.emucr.com/search/label/PSXjin

Personally, I enjoy all 100% runs, unless the game itself is completely boring to watch. I had all three of these games as a child. So 100% is a real high nostalgia factor for me. xD I think it's really up to you, though.

I've looked into the memory addresses of this game with the VBA 23.4, and found x- and y-coordinate addresses, x- and y- subpixels (if I'm correct) and health and magic regen counters. Now, the address for critical hits... this might suck. I haven't progressed with this run much, but might continue it now with the other runs out of the way. EDIT: At the start of the game, at int. 18, one rejuvenation cycle takes 273 frames. +1 rejuv shortened it to 264 frames, and that is where I am at now. Intelligence affects rejuvenation, but apparently not very dramatically. The one level-up int. point I put on my character earlier in the run had no effect... If you start the game with 15 int., your rejuv cycle takes 283 frames instead. If you start the game with 8 int, it's 293 frames. The effect might increase at higher int. levels, or there may be some breakpoints to int. affecting rejuvenation.
You ought to test what it would do with good regen gear like a necklace and two rings, just to see what's faster.

The DrHells Plugin works just fine for my PS2 Gamepad. I'm more interested in finding a good ISO and Graphics Plugin right now. I'm starting to think there aren't any outside of the TAS Plugins.

I guess I'll take there aren't any decent plugins, then.

I'm giving this a yes vote. I watched the first two levels and was entertained. Edit: Well, to be more specific, I watched up til after the Medusa Fight. I counted that as two levels. :3

Glad to see that progress is still going on the two runs for this game. :3

Alright, thanks. Although, it doesn;t seem like a whole lot of games are supported by this emulator yet. At least, none of the ones I've been trying. Perhaps I need to download some different ISO and Graphics Plugins.. Any suggestions outside of the TAS Plugins?

Is there maybe controller support for this emulator as of yet? Because the default game pad plugin doesn't seem to be working.

Well, I'm giving this a yes vote. Though, personally, if the dance is in this game, I would have loved to see them make everyone do The Thriller. xD That would have added epic amounts of awesome.

This game is basically just one big endurance round to save a princess with huge breasts. ...Hell, that's all the motivation I'd need! xD Yes vote.

I remember the first time I played this game. I used the Kaizer Dragon, and ended up killing my entire party. xD

I believe Janus will be going for the good ending, which means picking everything up, right? I'm not sure if all techniques and whatnot count toward the good ending in this game like they did in the first game...

Personally, I see no problem with voting yes on this run. It's stupid to vote no or meh on this run, just because there's a 100% Small Only run. Hell, there's a normal 100% run, and that didn't stop people from voting yes on the warps run. It's no wonder some TASers quit. There's just no pleasing some people. I'm voting yes.
