I really can't believe someone voted no on this, although, it was probably just some troll who doesn't know quality when he sees it. I greatly enjoyed this TAS. I watched it in one sitting mostly, stopping only to get some food and a couple drinks. :3 I give this TAS a big yes vote. I would love to see a Best Ending TAS for BoF3 some time in the future. ;3

I found a cool thing that could have been used to skip the Opisthor boss on Level 3 (since it's a long boss, it would save over a minute), but the game crashes when I do it. By getting close to one of the bosses so that it hits me, I can be thrown over the wall to the place where I can enter level 4. The boss dies instantly when I go there even though I haven't shot it, but when it dies the game crashes for some reason. I wonder if there would be any way to prevent it from crashing?
It could be a failsafe. They probably found that flaw and decided to make the game crash if you go through with it. xD

Any% probably consists of whatever you think you need to pick up without wasting a lot of time. 100% completion, consists of all recipes, badges, star pieces, letters and the side quests. Those are my definitions.

I too would love a 100% TAS. But an Any% TAS is fun to watch too. :3

New find as far as the music. I'm pretty sure they have remixed EVERY piece of music from the original Donkey Kong Country, aside from the Boss Music. The difficulty curve for most of the game is pretty much medium, aside from those Temples in each level. Once you get to World 5, those temples will really start kicking your ass. xD But I am still in nostalgia country. :3 I like the DK symbol in the ending barrel. Just shake your Wiimote+Nunchuk, and rake in Multiple Banana Piles, Extra Lives, or Banana Coins. But the game is quite generous anyway, so you'll probably never run out of Banana Coins or Extra Lives. :3 Sucks how hard some of the new games on Wii are, like SMG, SMG2 and DKCR, but at least they make up for it with tons of 1-Ups.

If this game actually ever does become TASable, I would love to see a 100% TAS. :3

Is this tool assisted? it certainly looks it to me...
Looks like it to me, too. I don't know if 58.7 is even possible in real time what with human error and all.

If you don't have this game and you have a Wii, you're missing out on a great game. I've played through four of the 8 worlds since getting the game on Sunday. The gameplay is awesome, and the game has a lot of music from the original Donkey Kong Country, like the title music, Jungle Japes, the Underwater music, and even the Mine Cart music. Talk about high nostalgia value. I love it. But what do you guys think about it if you've played it?

Probably best to save that trick for Xantam, then.

I would rather see a full TAS of the games rather than just see a single track done. That's the main reason singular track runs never get published, I believe.

I enjoy this game, myself. Played it by emulator a few times. Never got too far, but I still find it fun. I would so watch a TAS of it.

Voting no on this. I don't know why you decided to run only a single track from this game. I don't recall a single track from a game ever being accepted, and this is the exact reason why. If you're going to run something, do the whole game. Do the races against the AI. But geez, not a single track.

Just watched the WIP; I was entertained! Not knowing anything about the game, what was up with smacking that statue around early on? It didn't seem to have an obvious effect.
Smacking the statue actually opens up doorways, if I remember right.

He may have meant the constant shifting. I know just watching that can give me a headache. And make me nauseous...

I like how this WIP looks. ^^ I'm really excited about seeing these TASes. The MediEvil Series has always been one of my favorites. :3

I give it a thumbs down for being nothing like the movie. :P
And we all know how many games turn out just like their movie counterparts. xD

I've always wanted to see this game and the second game completed at 100%. ^^ Although, I will gladly watch the Any% and the Low% runs too. :3

These TASes were originally posted on Nicovideo. How should we link to them if Nicovideo is the only place they can be watched? It's not our fault that you can't properly use that site. There is a German, Spanish and Chinese translation and even without, you can use guesswork or ask someone for help. Also, at least the nicovideo player links should have worked as the videos should load automatically. Maybe you are lacking an adobe flash player version update?
Hmm...Not sure, I supposed I COULD be missing an Adobe Flash Update. But I thought mine was fully updated. I should check. Edit: Yep! Apparently I was missing something. I DID have 10.1 already, but I'm starting to think maybe it didn't install correctly the first time. Nothing even remotely close to a video ever loaded before. Thanks for the suggestion. :3

I really wish people would stop posting Nicovideo links and stick to Youtube. Those NicoVideo links don't work for me. I can't read japanese or whatever language it is on those sites.

Well, at least with those added the Emulator will be a little better. Hopefully, we can also get someone to work on the compatibility issues. I've always wanted to play PSO, but it always crashes in the same spot. :/

Insults don't really bother me much. You get used to it when you have nothing to do with the "In Crowd" in school. But he's right, I should have quoted.
