Bah, I'm sorry my comment was rude. I'm sure you'd lose more time grabbing the powerups than not.

Wow, so you did something slower? Do you know the purpose of the site?

Anyone else like this game? I've never attempted a TAS nor do I feel I'd have the patience to do so. I think it'd be a fun game for someone to try to TAS as there's lots of room for time competition (runs to the hundredths on the timer) and strategy development. For those who don't know, it's a super scope mech shooting game. As I said, I've never TAS'd and probably wouldn't have the patience for it... so would any one be up for it? (Having said that... if SNES9X doesn't support super scope that's right out the window isn't it? :P)

Not watching, so not voting. I feel it's not necessary to do. The only time loss would come from the time it takes to boot in to the game, minor engine changes and fade in/fade out lag being different. It's not necessary.

Jeez. I don't know if it's the rain in level 5, or the paralax (or whatever it's called) scrolling water in levels 1 and 3, but whatever it is, it made the bitrate need to be a lot higher than the mega man x + x2 dual encode. Oh well. My idea of "good" quality doesn't happen until around 80MB, but I got "acceptable" at 35MB, so here's that: http://tas.monotoli.org/mov/dkc2/ (Also I'm amazed the sound stayed in sync all throughout. I kinda winged this since I'd never done anything like it before. I think I managed to get the audio into the correct channels without messing up too much)
Very good improvements by Comical, wow. Also, thanks for making me realize my headphones were on backwards.

For the record, you get 34:47 on TS1, not 34:67... might wanna fix that in the submission if it's not too late.

I couldn't have said it better, hopper. 27 hours or so later and I'm still in a state of disbelief and dispair.

I rarely post here but this requires attention: Steve Irwin dead. This sucks. :(

Wow... this is incredibly dumb. Thanks for abusing the concept of a TAS officially ending at the last input. Anyways, voted yes but reluctantly.

Uh. There's a warp barrel in every level? Thanks for reminding me why this one is inferior to DKC2 and DKC1.

Well, it's a hack so it wouldn't be allowed, simple as that.

Um, yikes. That must really suck. I'm sorry to hear about that... I had an interest in Mario Kart 64 myself, but I never knew him. My condolences. :(

As for now, I'd say yes (though I cannot vote yet for some reason) but there are definitely some issues.
