400000 rerecords for a 4 minute movie? i guess there were some kind of scripts or bots used to get that many rerecords?
Nope, that is legitimate hard work from our whole team since the project started.

I also nominate that fifth screenshot (this one) for the screenshot for being the single greatest WTF in the run.
Anything I'd say about this run will be said 100 times over in this thread, so, amazing work, amazing effort, yes, etc. Just want to say I think that should be the Screenshot - the other one is technically interesting, but visually boring.
I kind of agree, but I have two problems with the one Grunt said he wanted. First of all, it's really dark. As we all know, dark screenshots are not preferred. :P Second of all, you can't really tell that mario is flying across the room, it just looks like he somehow jumped up there. Unlike the pipe screenshot, where you can clearly tell he is in a glitched area, and it is a major change to the previous run, and it is bright. Just my opinion though :)

Well if he took the intro out and then didn't include it in the time then it can't be seen as valid. But I can't really be arsed to time it right now :P

It does for me, the J rom works better than the U. It doesn't play like it does on console though, so I don't see a TAS being accepted because the physics aren't really the same.

This game doesn't even work in the emulator, so of course this is all speculation.
Oh really...? Works for me, and it always has. Not sure who started the whole "this game doesn't work" stuff, but it isn't true for everyone.

Hey guys I used 4 trillion rerecords and I saved a frame, but i'm not going to tell you how I did it :) On a more serious note, don't you guys agree that the final bowser song sounds great? I've been hearing it a lot lately...

Or you could do 8 and then have the logo that says tool assisted run in the middle of the 3x3 grid.

Mugg: i didnt asked you anything beside tasing this with me, you sayd no (after saying yes and no 40 times already), seriously i dont want to tas anything again with you, your just painfull, you keep talking to say nothing in that post, and in the end you didnt even voted, your a waste, no wonder you have no team submission, its too annoying to try anything with you. Thank you for that long whinning post, was exactly what i needed to decide not ever working with you, oh and btw, no need to try to be sry, obviously you are not. Maybe im arrogant but you are an asshole, i didnt asked you anything about mem search or making a lua, you just made it without asking me anyway. And about your bs on mario land, you told me 50 times no need for me to wait you, that you would not tas castlevania.
Are you kidding me? He clearly stated that he was busy, so you treat him like he is "a waste" and tell him you don't want to do anything with him ever again? Also, he has the right not to vote, the fact that he even took the time to comment on your submission is NOT a waste. You should be thankful that people are willing to go out of their way to assist you with your runs! I also don't like how you act like he needs permission to make lua scripts for this game. tl;dr: I may be quite young, but you are acting more childish than I usually do, and that is really saying something. Anyways, about the run, I enjoyed it so my vote is yes.

Its also always "on top" blocking my view when i watch N64 games in window mode. Is there any way to disable or hide this?
You can drag it out of the way, but you can't minimize it or hide it.
