I never said it was a time saver, just a new glitch.

Link to video This is a new glitch that branches off of an already existing glitch. If you BLJ into the TTC clock, then jump at an extremely precise height, you will activate the X camera as if you entered TTC. From here, if you talk to the toad and spawn a star, the game just softlocks. If you exit through the 50 star door, the screen will go all black because the room is unloaded. However, if you go within a certain range of any of the upstairs paintings (WDW, THI Small and Big, TTM, SL), the game will play the camera animation as if you just entered that painting. Going down to the lobby does nothing interesting.

I completed a TAS of the first level. Here is the .bk2, and here is an Encode. Here is some addresses I found. Not sure how accurate all of them are, but they seem to work. Not the most entertaining game, but there is some small timesavers and TAS only strategies. I avoided all of the collectables that I could without losing time, since each one takes 2 frames to tally up. You can get 1 extra unit of speed on slopes if you hold back at a certain frame then hold forward. The springs give you the most possible speed. There is only 1 fixed jump height unfortunately. The fastest way to turn around is on the ground.

Can't help but love the pogostick-esque small jumps in this game. It's about time 484M got replaced. I wouldn't mind at all giving you full credit for this TAS. Nice work! Voted yes.

Was the Lakitu skip an old improvement or new? Can’t even tell how the second star was improved.
It has been in all 0 Star's since the 5:02 I believe, so it is old. The 2nd star was improved by not needing to double jump off the elevator by having more speed/better positioning. I am currently working on a lobby castle movement comparison video, I believe that the current 70 TAS lobby order is slow.

I would enter depending on the amount of time we have to make our entries. @previous posts: I don't think Snark "hates" the community, just there has been some communication issues in the past and I would guess that he feels that publishing to YouTube is good enough for him to show off his work.

Link to video Cuts 25 seconds out of a 0 star run for 2 player. I would suspect 4:1x or less is possible for a 2 player 0 star. You can also cancel star animations by damaging the player who collected the star, so you can continue playing in the level after collecting the star. This enables levels like LLL and TTC to have all 7 stars collectable in one entry. EDIT: I'm dumb, the intro is skipped too. Make that like 3:2x or less.
